I saw her on FB dancing Khmer, she's is. an amazing dancer! I'm so glad to hear that she's is so happy in Cambodia. Cambodians are great people, very friendly, respectful and easy to get along.
Thanks for watching!
Great interview! Your guest is spot on about the country, and her positive outlook in general was a pleasure to see.
I am Khmer but born and raised in Boston MA. My parents came to the US in 1975 and I was born here. I am the youngest of 3. My siblings were born in Cambodia. I’ve never been to Cambodia but I want to go to Phnom Penh in 2022. I have a 13yr old daughter. She’s half Khmer and half Cape Verdean. Her father was in the US military army. He passed away in April 2017. We are trying to start a new chapter. This vlog is very inspiring. I can speak Khmer and my daughter can understand Khmer but she won’t speak it because she think she sounds funny
What an amazing cultural mix your family has. I hope you do get to fulfill your dream of visiting the land of your ancestors. I think once your daughter is around the Khmer people she will feel very comfortable speaking the language. Many blessings on starting your new chapter. Thank you so much for watching!
Tf that's werid all my family is from Boston and they never seen a Asian person intill like high school I think you mean lowell cause there's not that many Cambodians in Boston none really
Good interview. Glad to see you doing these again. I know a bit about that area after being tere a few times. Would love to get back there someday. Thank you again.

Thank you.....enjoy genuine smiles and positive vibes.
Khmer language is spoken throughout the Khmer empire. It includes Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. If you get a chance to visit Vietnam, go to Khmer temple there. Some of them is even older than Vietnam itself. Great interview, by the way. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
Cambodia is nice and friendly
I'm so happy she is having a good time. I visited Cambodia once and it's the least favorite place for me in southeast Asia. Good luck to her and please blk folk go out and travel the world.
I am in china and would love a new experience. Cambodia sounds like my next move.
I think it's a great place to check out since you are already in that hemisphere!
@@ExpatCaroline for sure. I was thinking about moving to Rwanda but I just goes where the winds blow... I'm from Barbados.
@@pamelastanford1 I think it is worth a visit to check it out. You aren't that far away and if you don't like it....there's a big world out there for you.
I’ve heard that making a living income in Cambodia is still a bit tough. Although a lot of Chinese investors are modernizing the country, they want Chinese patrons and workers only and price of goods are more than what a native Cambodian could afford. Also, the healthcare system is non-existent or not very good. This is what I’ve heard as the country is still rapidly developing. I hope to visit soon.
The pay for teachers is actually higher than in many countries.
Congratulation sister!
Awesome. Please contact me with more info to make a more informed decisions to relocate there. Great story
Where did you get the world map behind you please?
I bought it from a local vendor here in Mexico. However I think that it is possible to find something similar on the internet from maybe places like AMAZON.
Her Instagram is no longer. Do you happen to have an updated Instagram name for her? I would love to follow her travels
Hola! Se had a baby recently and I am guessing that motherhood is taking up a lot of her time these days. I will look and paste a link for any new one she may have here. Thanks for watching
