I was taking Plastadyl, opiates, and ,benzos. As a result I ended up in a coma. I was in the ICU Pulmonary Unit in Harborview hospital in Seattle. I ended up getting pneumonia and needed a tube inserted in my left lung to drain the vomitus and other crud out of my lung. I permanently lost the hearing in my left ear. It's my fault and a permanent reminder to be more careful with the drugs. I'm thankful I didn't lose my hearing in both ears. Thanks for the information, Dr B.
Yeah after a surgery I was on traMAdol, which is in opiate pain med. took it everyday for about 4-5 days then when I was feeling better I stopped cause opioids scare me. Waited over 36 hours before I had about 3 beers when everyone I was drinking with said I looked like I was dying, like blue lips and pale as a ghost, I myself felt completely fine. But they made me put the drink down and sit on a coach, after about 15 minutes my vision was completely faded and I couldn’t hear anything. Took about 2 hours no drinking to come back too, scary scary stuff cause I didn’t even feel it come onto me.
I remember when I was young I sometimes used opium tincture when I had strong cough. It was rather moderate doses, because they didn't prescribe taking more than a spoon at a time. Now you just get cough syrup with ethylmorphine, if you need it.

There is a sticker on the medication bottle that says to not drink alcohol. I asked my doctor if one glass of wine was ok he said yes it’s ok but it’s something i was doing once a year .
Yeah do coke and opioids.

Alcohol is hard on liver and stomach, I am soo glad I stopped drinking. Thanks for the advice and information 😊
All of my overdoses happened when I used heroin after drinking 🤔. Suppose this guys making some sense
Love these public service announcements Doc...
I liked opiods because i was able to get things done. Nodding off is a waste.
Or...hear me out, don't do drugs.
Opiates is a pain medication it’s not a recreational drug at all . If you respect your prescription you won’t have problems .
My favorite was acid and alcohol. Coke and shrooms are good too with some nice strong whiskey drinks.
Opium and mushrooms, though🤤
Don't mix alcohol with any pills of any kind.
Don’t mix alcohol with anything
Well, if you’re not sure, don’t mix anything with anything. Looking up specific drug interactions is ideal, though.
@CactusBrannigan Except uppers lol
@@2010RSHACKS especially not uppers, taking uppers and downers at the same time *DRAMATICALLY* raises your risk for a cardio effect.
I love drugs
Pills before booze, ya don't lose...most OD by taking there candy while already being to intoxicated..

Tramadol isn’t a narcotic
Tramadol is a dirty medication, had a seizure on just 3 of them medically prescribed. Never take that stuff
Wow. Tramadol is very mild. They have changed its drug class and consider it an opioid.

Great point about the gag reflex being very very subdued by opiates. If drunk enough you will drown in your own vomit.
alcohol is danger with anything. like no joke at all o.o

Yeah dont do that, do hard alcohol and coke
but it feels so good for once, or twice:)
Ok
Don’t tell me what to do!!
To be honest wen i was on metherdon an i had drank alchol it used to make me feal like i was withdrewing an made me feal ill grate vid br b
Is alcohol has less craving than opiates? In withdrawal symptoms Dr B.
I don’t know about cravings but alcohol withdrawal can be fatal. You need monitoring as you can have seizures and a hypertensive crisis.
