The whole album is FIRE 🔥🔥 Silk Sonic is Bruno and Anderson. Anderson has many hits and is a fantastic drummer. The band members are from Bruno's band The Hooligans.
What I love about Silk Sonic is that Bruno and Anderson, but especially Bruno, are so passionate and well versed in music that what they write and come up with sounds just so smooth and fun but in reality is actually extremely complex. The harmonies, the key changes/modulations, the complex melodies, the instrumentation. Like if u were to break down every single element of this song, instrument by instrument, part by part, line by line u could talk for hours about each part cuz NOTHING about it is simple. And they make it sound and look so effortless!
So many great songs on this LP...this is my favorite album in years. Every song a hit!!!
Silk Sonic, the duo of Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars, released a new single for Valentine's Day. It's not on the album. It's a cover of a 1982 r & b song 'Love's Train' by the group Con Funk Shun.

Wow! Sonya’s just seein this video for the 1st time, & it’s almost a year old. Well you would enjoy the live performances on the different awards shows. They bring a little different every time! Did ya’ll not see APaak on drums in the halftime show near the end? He was almost in the front. Definitely check some of his live stuff with his band Free Nationals, like their NPR Tiny Desk Concert. He also had a song called DonUou Wanna Stay Together, wit special guest Smokey Robinson. The awards shows Silk Sonic did Leave the Door Open:

strange enough this isn't even their best version lol, them doing it for one of the live awards shows where they are all in blue suits is just pure MAGIC! IMO. it has a very 5 Heartbeats feel to the performance. the performance I'm talking about is from the IHeart concert.

Everything they do together is incredible. Other music has been ruined to me lol Silk Sonic is the greatest. Also they are both fantastic writers and write all their own music, but Bruno used to write and produce to others (still does). And they do live instrumentation on the whole album.
