Great video :) Just two little things: You were actually tracing the Inn instead of the Danube. The Danube doesn’t flow through Munich, it flows through Regensburg which is a little more to the north. Also: The Berlin Wall came down on the 9th of November 1989. But the GDR officially joined the FRG on the 3rd of October 1990. (Btw: That’s why the 3rd of October is our national holiday) :) And 30:24: He’s actually quite the opposite! His name was Dietrich Bonhoeffer and he was part of the resistance against the Nazi Regime. Because of that he was sentenced to death and killed in the concentration camp in Flossenbürg
Neander valley is the part of germany i live in, it sits beside Solingen and Wuppertal in the Mettmann district/county (North Rhine-Westphalia). There is a museum about the neanderthals in Mettmann (main city of the district, hence why the name).
Been looking forward to this one, such a beautiful and interesting country. Also the guy you skipped over was a Christian leader who opposed the Nazis (along with others) which resulted in their executions. He wrote a book which is absolutely fascinating!
Another great video! I believe the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, but yes the official reunification was 1990 for sure. There’s a great book I read earlier this year called Why The Germans Do It Better by John Kampfner about the changing mindset of generations of Germans over the years, and dealing with how they are portrayed as a country. Also I loved at 10:10 “Excuse you… w - how dare you” 😂
Nice Video but four little things 1.Prussia didn't exist anymore in ww1 2.you could have mentioned Otto von Bismarck 3.the great depression was before hitler rose to power and last but not least 4.the 20s especially the late 20s went horrible for Germany and the German people starved (Germany did pretty well in ww1)

Most english have german dna mainly from the North (angles, saxons) also the Royal family has german roots/ connections.
Been to the black forrest this year. Very awesome experience really enjoyed it out there! Hiking was super fun.
FYI, while the Rhine is the location of many important and beautiful castles, Schloss Neuschwanstein is in southern Bavaria.
Love your videos!
Nooo! Dietrich Bonhoeffer wasn’t a bad man! He spoke out against the Nazis and paid for it with his life! Did good in the US too. Look him up 💔
My Mom’s family immigrated from Germany. 🖤 Deutschland
30:15 the guy on the right was in opposition to the nazi when they abolished churches in the country
The Neandertal is in North Rhine Westphalia! Right between Düsseldorf and Wuppertal, i live quite close to it!
The neander valley (Neandertal) actually is near Düsseldorf in western germany
Very interesting asmr, amazing work! 👍😊

Greetings from Bonn NRW 👋🏼❤️
Wonderful video! My maternal grandfather’s family came from Baden-Wurthemberg in the 1700s and settled in Pennsylvania Deutsch Country. ❤

Germany doesnt border us (Liechtenstein)
My apologies!
There isn’t a border between Germany and Liechtenstein, but there is a war which started in the 1860’s and never ended.
@@ASMRGeographica all good bro
Spricht man in Liechtenstein eigentlich hauptsächlich Deutsch und haben die nen eigenen Dialekt ?
@@fudocool schweizer dialekt aber bei mir im dorf wird hochdeutsch gesprochen
