Is it necessary that the Parts included in the UDF are already loaded in the workspace ?
I tried to place a udf while the Parts are Not loaded. It didn’t work out.

It depends on your settings. Talk to your admins.

@@CADPLMGuy Can you tell me which settings, please? I am the only cad designer in our company and so I do all of the admin work to.
After your comment, I've already searched for "udf" in the config options. But didn't find the right setting.

It's been over 4 years since I've been an admin, so I don't remember off the top of my head. But the relevant options deal with operations to add dependents automatically; they don't have 'UDF' in the name or description. I recommend reaching out to your VAR or opening a ticket with Tech Support.
