I love that colorant calculator. I am so glad that you brought it back. I use it every time I soap. I am so happy I found soap challenge club. Totally helped up my soap game.
Hey, Teri! Beautiful job. Thanks for the tips about what you learned with the pour and the contrasting tones. I really had a hard time liking the way this technique turned out. Your explanation really helped me understand how to make the design pleasing to look at. I may even try it again! Lol
I appreciate your teaching skills Teri, I’ve watched your videos and learned so many excellent Techniques from you, you’re very talented. This was hands-down, the best groovy swirl in the challenge. Congratulations.
Despite being pretty happy with my previous attempts, I came straight away to the video to see if you had any tips for the things that didn't work with those, and I came away with some great insights. Thank you.
Thank you so much! 🌟 I’m so glad you found the tips helpful! 💕 Sodium lactate is typically added to your lye solution after the lye has fully dissolved in distilled water and the solution has cooled slightly. Adding it to the lye water helps make the soap harder and easier to unmold, especially for recipes with a high water content or softer oils. If you forget to add it to the cooled lye solution, add it when you remember. I have never had a problem with adding it to the oils later. The usual amount is around 1 teaspoon per pound of oils in your recipe, but you may use less or more depending on your recipe formulation. 📏💧 Let me know if you have more questions-happy soaping! 🧼🛁
I skipped to the pour really I did watch some of you mixing with the spatula. I was thinking if you can could do the prep in a separate video so if people want to watch that they can and those who don't, don't.
Thank you so much for this awesome video! I have missed watching your incredible and informative videos. 😊
I love your design! thank you for the tips 👍

Awesome tips, thank you for sharing! Please can you tell me where you add sodium lactate? In destilled water or something else?
