That's why Urokodaki so happy when Tanjirou survived after DS exam, becuz none of his student survive except Giyuu(Lucky) and Tanjirou from Hands demon (Actually Sabito can kill that hands demon too, but becuz he was too exhausted after saved everybodies ass)
Not only tat but Sabito struke his sword too early and he broke his sword against the demons skin, he didn't follow the lining thread for a sec... then the hand demon smashed his head like. Watermelon... plus the point he was exhausted too... GET TIS GUY A MEDAL OF HONOR FOR SAVING PEOPLE YO!!!
Some really nice little detail that I feel goes unnoticed/unappreciated is when characters are broken, they lose the white glare in their eyes, you can see it here with Giyuu, and even with Muichiro when he forgot, but got it back along with his memories. I believe Shinobu must’ve had some white in the middle like Rengoku and Tanjiro, but lost it along side her sister. Either way I think it’s a really neat trope.
I was literally crying while watching this😭 Giyu is super heartbroken bc he lost his sister, his best friend, and the person that loved him💔 it’s so sad! He deserved better than this! ;(
Giyu was to be cheerful when he was 13 because of sabito, who cheered him up, but when the both when to final selection, everything changed. Sabito died from a demon whom his neck its very hard, Thats what makes giyu depresed.
Poor Giyuu, he already lost Tsutako, his big sister and got called crazy because the People in his village didn’t believe in Demons, but then he found his happiness thanks to Sabito again and now he‘s gone too.😭 after that, he at least smiled a bit because of mitsuri who reminded him of his sister and rengoku who reminded him of sabito but then they died too😣
I saw giyuu smile in hashira training arc ep seven.. It was a slight smile so the damages shouldn’t be that bad, but just incase we should head to the bunker and sound the alarm.
When Giyu said to the other hashira (Sanemi) that he is not like them. That he didn't pass but has been saved. Even Master Kagaya knows that he had been tormenting himself with the guilt.
Poor sabito 😢 he didn’t had any choice but to save other people and Giyu didn’t had to loose his best friend. But tanjiro defeated that hand demon who killed sabito❤
