My brain can't get the fact that season 5 and season 6 belongs to the same series. Lately I have been watching the old seasons and I'm not ready to leave that animation style in the past, this show is my childhood and it makes me sad to see almost everything in my life constantly change and this was my comfort show but now with the new animation, it feels nothing like it. I wish they brought the old animation back. I just wonder what would happen to Adrien/Chat Noir once he finds out the truth about everything that has been kept from him, especially his father being monarch, and the fact that Ladybug herself kept this secret from him. Not just him as Adrien, but also as her teammate from the very beginning, Chat Noir. I mean, he’s been fighting Hawk Moth alongside her since day 1 up until he became monarch, but she still proceeds to hide something this big from him. Yes, we know Marinette had good intentions, but logically, how is Adrien supposed to just forgive and forget something this huge? We’ve seen Chat Noir take on a villainous role before, when he was akumatized as ‘Chat Blanc’ in an alternate timeline. It was his deep sense of betrayal and isolation that transformed him into one of the most dangerous villains in the series. A similar situation takes place in season 5, where he’s once again betrayed-but this time, by the person he trusted most: his partner, Ladybug.
