I love your videos!! I’m only a sophomore in high school and I’ve been obsessed with the program for so long and I just really want to be a PhotoPass photographer or literally anything for Disney one day :) I’m already excited lol
This was a very fun video for me. When I was in college I took photography classes and was hooked. I did fifteen years of professional travels photography and I saw myself in you. This was the first time I have watched your videos. No doubt this is going to be a binge week. It has been twenty years 25; years since I tried to do dcp and it is as magical as it was then. Have a great week
Thank you for posting this video! I'm a DCP alum, but I'm going back for Spring of 2019 as PhotoPass! It's been my dream role for so long, so watching this definitely made me more excited to be back home!
thanks so much for posting this! I’m applying for the dcp spring 2019, and there seem to be so few photopass videos compared to other roles. basically I’m trying to watch all the videos I can to prep! also love the pointe shoes in the background 💖📸
Hi Bronwyn! I'm planning to apply for Fall 2019 and I am very interested in being a Photopass photographer. I was watching some interviews and saw that some people were asked the question "how would you handle a kid or teen not wanting to be photographed," and I'm honestly stumped. Any advice? Thanks!
I got accepted for photopass for this Fall! I cannot wait for the experience, this video was so helpful❤️❤️ it’s crazy that you train for about a month, but that makes me feel less nervous!!
it's so hard to explain how training works! you basically have 4 days of initial training and you start shooting on your own like normal you just won't work nights or work with characters until you have those training days! I'm so glad this was helpful, you are going to LOVE photopass!
Love your videos, I was just wondering who your favorite character was to work with while you were a photopass? I know that some like Mickey and Minnie would be special because their stature but I just think that working with Gaston or the Step-sisters would be a lot of fun because of their character's personalities.
This might be an odd question, but I havent been able to find an answer from anyone, but here it is if you can provide some insight: I know that cast members call little girls “princess” when calling them over or getting their attention. What did you call young boys? Was there a gender neutral term you used? I feel like I’ll just end up calling all the kids “sweetheart” naturally
Hello! I’m super interested in doing the college program but I’m still in high school . And also wanting to do the photopass photography. My main question is , can u choose how long u want to be in the in program? Like for a summer internship ,Can I choose to work there for two months ?
Hi I know i'm quite late to comment but i'm really interested in the disney collage program and i really really want to do photopass but i live in the uk , do you know if people from outside the usa can do the program? Thanks!
I think all of where they place you is personality. I didn’t get any of the locations I listed what I was interested in. As a international participant from Italy I was placed at the Italy Pavilion at Epcot. Honestly it was the last place I wanted to be not only is it not like Italy it was very tiring getting asked if I spoke English very day. It gets old pretty quickly.
The absolute number one thing you need to know about working for Photopass... Make sure that you find out what park Jim Williams is currently a manager at, and then choose differently. That man is an absolute ass hat - he has numerous HR complaints against him and somehow, he still has a job. To be honest, Magic Kingdom is the best part - their leaders care the most, and their team is big enough and diverse enough that it doesn't become a situation where people are complaining about each other every time you turn around and always looking for reasons to fill out a grievance form on each other. (EPCOT was notorious for this and Studios was not much better under Monalee Humesky, Mike Frank, and Roy McLeod). Jim Williams is the worst leader they had - hands down though. If you're looking for a great place to get your foot in the door and work your way up - definitely take Magic Kingdom. Their leaders take the time to prepare you for trainer interviews and coordinator interviews and they make sure you're ready before you ever get there. (EPCOT definitely did not do this, and Studios were very petty and often played the "pick and choose" game.) Magic Kingdom doesn't have alcohol freely flowing, so the guests are more fun as well... Overall, MK is the place to be. Just make sure Jim Williams doesn't work there before you sign up for that park - he will make your life an every day Hell. It's just who he is. (To this day, nobody seems to know how he even became a leader and nobody seems to know how he continues to get away with the things he says and does. Verbal abuse for starters and if he for some reason does not like you, just count on it - there will be a one on one chit chat every time you clock in for work when he's there. Living Hell I'm telling you.)

yes yes yes! go for it hon!!
I was just recently accepted for photopass and I’m super excited! This video has taught me soo much about the role!
Photopass looks like alot of fun but id be soooo worried that I'd mess up photos and end up making them blurry or something
I love your pointe shoes in the background!! Would you ever want to work in parades/shows since you have training in dance?
