I recently got hired as a photo pass photographer at Disneyland but I have no clue what shoes I’m allowed to wear. I was looking at all black Hoka Clifton 8’s cause I heard good reviews for comfort and support since I’ll be on my feet all day. Do you think that will be allowed? Loved the video!
The Disney look may have changed since I worked there but for me it had to be all black including the logo for the shoes! Ask your trainer they will be able to answer all your questions! Also on Facebook try and find a Photopass group, it really helped me with my questions and I even found people to trade shifts with (once your trained of course)through the group!! I hope this helps! Congrats on the job and thank you for making the magic :)
They have Photopass at both parks if you are trying to get hired on in a regular part time or full time position, but I am not sure if they offer Photopass for the Disneyland College Program! :)
Just curious, were there days where it was really slow and hardly any people went up to you and asked to take photos? As a photographer there, do you need to take a certain amount of photos? Thanks
You get rotated to different locations throughout the park throughout the day so yes there are some spots that have less action but there isn’t a certain amount you have to hit each day!
do you have to have experience for this?? I just applied but ive never worked with cameras nor do I know camera "lingo" 😆 im hoping it doesn't jeopardize anything
They do have a decently extensive training so if you are not super camera savvy you can learn! I had camera experience but a lot of people in my training had honestly never touched a big camera! So I think you could for sure have a chance!! :)
@@Brittlaree thanks so much! literally after watching your video I was like I still have to ask if you need experience lol crossing fingers I get something back soon! great video btw :)
Love this video! thanks for taking us somewhat step by step through training
Very informative
Thanks for sharing
Did you do a virtual interview if soo what were the questions like? Because I have one in a couple days
I did a phone interview and they asked a bunch of questions about my previous job experience and what I would bring to the Walt Disney Company
@@Brittlaree thank you so much for that Information
@@Deege2how did it go? My interview is in a couple days 😅
Thanks for sharing. I was a lifeguard at Typhoon during college. What were your hours/shifts like?
That’s awesome! My shifts were usually closing the park and would be anywhere from 8-12 hours depending on if there was an event or not!

@@BiancaSaybe yasssss I’m so happy I could help! :)
Which was the camera you and your coworkers used while working? It would be very useful to know!
We used a modified Nikon camera that they made special for Photopass photographers
@@Brittlaree Oh, thanks for the info! Do you remember the model of the Nikon? 🥺 Or is it a camera with screen? It would be really useful to know!
