ok but this game actually has some really good unique mechanics. Wood actually chops where the axe makes contact, Axes can get stuck like real life, interactive crafting, and the emphasis on how terrible a stone pickaxe would be. I honestly feel like this game is ahead of its time and it probably would of been better of releasing now because how much of a bigger audience vr has.
there is also a very cool mechanic with furnace - you need to craft a furnace, make a forms for ingots, put ore in the upper part and put fuel in the bottom, and wait until it melts, then pull the handle on the side of the furnace and hot metal will pour into the form. That's really interactive
I think the coolest thing about this game is how it came out in 2018, and is still getting consistent large updates. I'm going to get this game the first chance I get
Habie my guy I bet you just made this Developer's whole year. I'm SURE I'm not going to be the only person who'll be checking this out that probably would never have even heard of this terribly-named game otherwise!
@@StonebrickStudios NO WAY!!! Funny you found this so fast. Probably gonna pick this game up, it looks pretty fun actually. Quick question: is there actually water?
The solo dev for this game works his ass off to present us with a voxelbased game purely made for VR. He has some true insight of what makes VR special, and what mechanics to put in and stay away from. The flying deer's were in there all the way in the beginning too, i think hes just refusing to take them out at this point. I enjoyed my stay in the game aswell, as soon as there's a form of multiplayer coming out for this. it will blow up for sure.

This is probably the most well made minecraft clone. The fact that they tried to improve taking advantage of a unique medium is already too much compared to the other clones
The best part of the game is that it's still getting better. It recently added full modding support, and now there is an enemy mod. Survival mode and multiplayer are in the works.

Huh, what a cool looking game, actually. I thought it'd be yet another boring minecraft clone with "better" graphics. But it's actually got some seriously interesting mechanics, the graphics actually look great too, especially the texture detail like the snow in stone blocks when it's snowy, and it just clearly was built intentionally from the ground up for VR. Everything looks like it was made to be enjoyed in VR, and makes sense in VR, it's not like a VR port where you can clearly feel the game was made to work with VR but not made for VR. Genuinely interesting game, glad you got to show it off to more people!
Really great video! Finally someone who gives the game more exposure. One thing that would help a lot to actually put "cyubeVR" in the tags and not just "Cyube VR" as the game is not written that way. Thank you very much!

Only for you to black the screen and put Cyube in nice legible text. Sad to realize I'm literally gold fish brain with how many times you had to bring up it's name and I still forgot.
Honestly even aside from Raytracing, this game looks incredible! I'd say the trees look a bit iffy and so do the mobs, but the terrain looks incredible! It almost reminds me of what the older versions of Minecraft gen used to look like but on steroids and it even puts the 1.18 gen to shame. It also kind of reminds of biomes o plenty's the promised land which is pretty cool as well. Overall, I NEED THIS GAME.
