@@mac_sour they're the $100 a month channel members. A tear that he originally set up as a joke because it made him set up three tiers for channel members and so they get a shout out every video. And they get made fun of because there's no way it's worth paying him $100
I got good at the movement, able to evade people for a good 5 min without being tagged. In my opinion the movement isnt a loot box, but a grind that feels really rewarding to do.learning to wall jump into wall climb and then mixing the two to basically fly across the stages is so much fun.
Ive been following gorilla tag since its early days, since before it had its reputation as a "weird kids game". The movement mechanic is by far one of the best ive seen in a VR game, and the maps are well designed and interesting. And when you get a lobby with enough people over the age of 12, you actually can get an actual game of tag going (i know thats a weird concept for a game with tag in the name) and its pretty fun. The developer, Lemming, developed most of the game by himself, though over the past year or so hes gotten a team together to help him to speed up development. Hes a nice guy, from the couple times ive intereacted with him on the GT discord.
i played this game pretty much the day it released, and i remember talking to a bunch of people in a lobby and goofing off (all older than 12 back when that was a possibility) and talking about how this was gonna be the next big vr game, and then a week passed and i saw the player count rise from like 60 to 300, and then weeks later from 300 to 2000. now i don't play the game anymore cause it's fucking annoying. but damn it really was one of my favorite vr games for a while before the kids took over.

I'm not too big on keeping up with VR news, especially since most of the channels in that field are incredibly boring to me, but I'm always happy to see a new video from this channel
Your examination is pretty good but I think the simple truth is that TAG just goes so hard making it online with fun movement mechanics just brings it to the next level quite literally makes it 3D
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that SO many young children have access to VR headsets, online, and parents just let them do this unsupervised. It's quite a different beast compared to 2D online games like CoD or Fortnite.
Most of them hopefully wont make it past 20. This new generation is fucking doomed. None of them want to be scientist, doctors or teachers etc. They all just want to be social media influencers. Rip.
Viva Pinata was the only I had on the 360 (we had LittleBigPlanet on the PS3), and I sank hours into bashing those red Meanies and mourning the loss of a caterpillar, only for its children to have their own baby pinatas. That short mention at the end has Kickstarted some weird heart-hearting nostalgia. Thank you

Hey Habie! Good video! There is a game called deep rock galactic which is dwarves, in space, mining rocks and killing bugs, and it has a VR mod for it! I have not played it (no headset) but it looks very well developed, and they have added things like throwing flares off your belt and other stuff like that! I think it could make a very good video.
Hey hab recently i lost someone in my family, since then i have been watching you videos, you have been making my days way better, coming home from school and straight onto youtube and watching you videos. Thanks Habie147❤
As a gorilla tag community member, I can confirm that we are all being held hostage in lemming's basement consuming jmancurly content and playing every update to see if lemming has opened secret tunnel yet.
The trick to the movement in Gorilla Tag is that your hand only grips a surface if you're holding it totally still in real life. You can move faster along the ground by (rather than reaching towards the ground) allowing your hand to come to a rest just above the ground and touch down via gravity. You'll fling yourself further. Same is true for landing on branches. If you're holding your hand still and that hand makes contact with a branch's flat surface, you'll stop on a dime on that branch and can make your next jump. (The same is true for jumping from wall to wall in canyon, allow your hand to hit the wall on it's own and it'll stick for about .5 seconds, giving you time to leap to the opposite canyon wall and repeat.)
Do we need to use the emotes more?
Unironically first one I've seen

I had to scroll to see a single channel emote. I'd say yes, they need more use.
