The timing of this video is perfect! I just started usuing the Urban Skin RX 10% L-ascorbic Acid and Kojic Acid Serum. I bought it more for the Kojic Acid rather the L-ascorbic Acid. But I love this serum! And I got it at CVS. :)
I have been using the PCA Pigment Bar, at your recommendation, and I LOVE it. I have hyperpigmentation that I just thought was extreme freckles, but have discovered that it is actually melasma that appeared during pregnancy and 3.5 years later it has not let up. The PCA bar has helped along with a few other products you have recommended. I used to think that sunscreen did not agree with my skin, but it was that US sunscreens don't agree with my skin. I have been loving Alturist, and Japanese Biore and Nivea sunscreens to help the melasma patches from darkening. Thank you for putting so much care into your videos helping to educate and protect out skin.
I picked up the PCA Pigment Bar months ago when you first reviewed it. I was skeptical of the added fragrance they used in it but I have had no issues at all from the product. It is in fact, one of my favourite products to use and really helped to lighten the sun damage I had on the side of my neck. I also purchased the gel a while later and love that too, it's expensive but I think I will continue to purchase it. It helps heal the breakouts faster and helps the redness go away quicker. Thank you for covering this ingredient, enjoyed the video very much :).
I grew up with a dark red blotch on my cheek and discovering kojic acid soap a couple years ago changed my life. I've noticed though, that I haven't needed to use it anymore since becoming retinized :)
I am using kojic acid koji San bar soap for my legs and arms it has significantly lessened my dark spots sun damage etc I have only been using it three times a week for the last month
I just went on amazon and searched kojic acid soap and koji San is one of the brands that will come up its orange in colour I would say its the best, you can find directions on how to use it on you tube but you basically you lather it up and put the lather on your skin from anything 30 seconds up to a minute, I did a skin patch test before I used it properly, then you rinse it off but it absorbs into your skin, you must moisturise and wear sunscreen it has a brightening lightening effect and can make your skin sensetive to perfumes so non perfumed skin care is best, I use my koji san 3 times a week 🙏

Hi Dr. What do you recommend for darker spots resulting from body acne? I have some on my upper arms and shoulders and I would like to minimize them or eliminate them- it’s tank top season, but having the dark spots make me self-conscious.

Hi Dr. Dray, I enjoy watching your videos. Can I wash my face with Kojic Acid at night and apply hydroquinone in the morning?
Have not been on youtube for a while. Another wonderful video as always!😊
Can you make a video on best acids to brighten intimate skin areas?
Your skin looks flawless in this video. What have you been using to achieve such even, bright, and smooth skin? Are you also wearing any tinted moisturizer? I have been using 1% Tretinoin for a long time, but I still have some dark spots, can you recommend a drugstore brand hydroquinone? Thank you for all of your helpful information, it's been such a great help.
Dr Dray please review the whitening line by Hada Labo!
YESS!!!! DEF. INTERESTED
Am I the only one that can't find the darn Hada labo? At the stores that is.

Can a kojic acid product be used in conjunction with retin-a?
which treatment is better for darkness around neck, mouth? people of some ethnicity have this common issue..
if the darkness is due to friction, brightening ingredients like kojic acid wont work as darkness due to friction/rubbing is not related to pigment
Dr Dray please how do you lighten darkness due to friction/rubbing?
What a great ingredient! Are there any more budget friendly options?
sunscreen
The PCA Pigment Bar will last you a long long time. It is a great product, recommend!

Could u make a video on really old deep pigmentation from acne years ago and how to get rid of it as I recall pca is more for surface pigmentation, thanks!
I've always had this question but... can you get your skin back to its natural color like when you were a baby? How do I know what my original skin color was: light or tan? Is the skin on my feet and underwrist the real color of my skin?
How,where, what amount can we buy ourselves, is it ok for darker skin tones? Thanks
I've been using a 1% Kojic acid/ 2% alpha arbutin serum twice a day for a month now. No visible results so far. 🙄
@@PetersayPeterdo that sucks... I’ve been looking everywhere for a remedy for my dark knees, elbows, and other spots in general... something that gives fast and noticeable results because I’m worn out from trying things
@@XGoken well there are ways, but they're not necessarily the accepted ones.
@@XGoken there’s soaps on amazon!!!
@@htaycho2902 what kind are most effective ????

What percentage of kojic acid is safe to use daily? Does it exfoliate the skin?
Hi Doctor , the order to apply Kojic acid in lotion in the morning would be : moisturizer, glycolic acid lotion , Kojic acid lotion and su sunscreen layers ? Thank you 🙏 Gabriela
Kojic acid vs glutathione soap which ine best both of them
Hi Dr. What do you recommend for darker spots resulting from body acne? I have some on my upper arms and shoulders and I would like to minimize them or eliminate them- it’s tank top season, but having the dark spots make me self-conscious.
Reduce added sugar intake, and exfoliate with a Korean scrub exfoliator. Moisturize with a lactic acid cream (but moisturizer in general) and stay hydrated. It’s helped me tremendously clear it, the biggest change happened after I minimized my added sugar
What's the best brand to use?
Super useful information ❤️
Dr dray could you please make a video on how to remove a tan
stay out of the sun
Any product recommendations?
Hi Dr dray. I have a nickel allergy and I am wondering if I should stay away from stainless steel water bottles? Like the bubba from walmart or anything similiar? I didnt know if it was the same as having it I your skin? Thank you
I would think so!
@Lori... do you have problems wearing earrings with your allergy? I can't wear earrings with any metal going through my pierced ears now, although I can wear any metal jewellery elsewhere on my body with no problem. I get bad itching, then increasing soreness and a sticky fluid starts to come out of the holes in my ears. I have to only wear earrings with the posts and backs made out of medical grade plastic. :)
@@helenmorgan2587 try coating the post of your earrings with clear hypo-allergenic Clinique nail polish as a barrier.
Have you done or can you do a video for sunscreen for children specifically sunscreen for children with sensitive skin or eczema....Thank you for all your time and effort you put into your videos they are extremely informative
i have,yes
Can it have an positive effect on dark upper lips or it's use is only limited to the skin?
Could you do a video on ashy dermatosis (erythema dyschromatis pertans)? I can find very little info about it. Thanks!
Thank you very much, Dr. Dray!!
thanks for watching
