Jacob Morgan It’s a different track, actually. Same bassline, but the way the songs are done, it’s kind of like they’re two halves of a whole. If you search around RUclips, someone actually combined the two and it works *really* well.
YX’s theme is my favorite of all of the true org. XIII! I love the sound of the violin, so the fact that it’s the forefront instrument in this composition is just perfect! This track fits his personality so well! Calm, collected, yet sinister at the same time! Much better than the Dark Impetus theme from BBS.

They cheese a vast majority of the bosses in this game and made the secret boss very easy. This person is saying they spammed these commands for the fight.

Why is it after Kingdom Hearts 1 the rest of the final boss themes have this similar badass pitch!? I love it! Exact same pitch as both Darkness of the Unknown AND Rage Awakened!
Honestly at .75 speed it’s kinda epic it’s like a warning or determined battle of attrition. And it’s kinda scary to think about a long protracted battle with young xehanort in time. As you are left to slowly work through the boss mechanics one at a time to finally face him. At .75 speed, this isn’t anger. This is determination to stop you from achieving your goal
I remember on critical mode I couldn't do enough damage to the clock phase so I had to let him reverse time so his health for that phase was decreased. Actually for all the late game bosses I had to come up with some strategy to defeat them. Sadly it's been years since I beat this on critical mode so I've forgotten most of them.
I hated Critical Mode in DDD. It was poorly balanced to begin with, and since every single boss starts in pinch mode, the fights end up being repetitive as the boss does the same attack pattern for the entire battle. Proud is much more fun.

I made sure to get the last kills I need for the Plat on it because this is legit my fav boss theme. Full Chain on Proud feels so good. Wave of Darkness I Full Chain Proud also feels damn good lol
The second or third time i fought young xehanort I was prepared for his rewind move but when he did it, he glitched the game making him nowhere to be found after time resumes and making me have to fight him again :(

I wonder if this theme would've also worked if they would've made it where Riku and the others failed to save Sora and you would battle Sora under Xehanort's control.
Count the numbers of hits for original Sonic Blade, and also count the numbers of hits for the original Ars Arcanum as well. That way you'll see a similar pattern.😌

actually the battle itself isn't very good (it is way to hard on critical mode or how is taht called) but the soundtrack is at least good. sadly i will always prefer l'oscurita dell'ignot
