Joakim is one of the best singers in Metal today. Even with his gravelly voice, he can still convey emotions ranging from sheer disgust in this song, to a soulful, yet hopeful tone in "To Hell and Back." He conveyed Audie Murphy's struggle with PTSD very well in that song. As someone also suffering from PTSD I appreciate all that Sabaton does with keeping history alive and showing the human side of war.
One could argue that hey do take sides in their texts all the time. Just that they keep rotating who's side they are taking and by doing so end up taking nobody s side.
You can hear the spite and hatred in Joakims voice (rightly so) every time he sings this song.
Love his voice anyway. And then this song... when they play Final Solution live, you can hear he's full of tears at some point.

If you look at the background... It's the World Trade Center during the attack on September 11th, 2001.

You can hear the disgust in Joakim's voice as he sings this song. This is the greatest anti-terrorism diss track of all time!
Sabaton are the best teachers of history

No they don't all their songs are speaking the truce except this song and maybe some others because you can't defend terrorism
Love when you react to all Sabaton vids. 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
