"I’ve been the underdog playing Liang Jingkun all the time, with recent matches resulting in my defeat almost every time. Before this match, I prepared myself with the right mindset, taking a fighter’s attitude. My aim for the finals was to play wholeheartedly and give my best effort. Therefore, I competed very committedly without holding back. Instead of thinking about the result, I focused on the match itself. Therefore, I believe I have gained a lot from it." Wang Chuqin

Wang is playing the best table tennis anyone has ever played. It's a totally new level.

  • @yongli4304

Wish WCQ three Olympic gold medals in Paris!!!

  • @jwxujerry

Wang Chuqin is the strongest TT player the earth has seen. I am a big fan of Ma Long and in terms of achievement Wang still has a long way to go. But in terms of skill level Wang is unmatched.

You get the most spectcular match when two of the best meet, regardless of their nationality. Those who says TT is boring because Chinese always win aren't true fans but are politically driven.

  • @18waywardson

I foresee Wang Chuqin becoming one of the greatest coaches of Chinese history after being a great player. His intelligence is higher than most. He was a WeiQi player after all.

  • @rolandbouchat7462

Wang got such a footwork. He always comes back in proper position to hit the ball...

  • @spaceinvader384

WCQ has developed/opened up unprecedented fantastic, consistent and lethal 3rd ball attack after service. But his strongest ability comes from 1st time killing opponent's serves or counter with reliable short & long pushes. Combining this with high accuracy/ultra spin/lightning speed/low arc forehand drives & block, no one can match him, now and then. Pending consistency, he'll be at the top for 4 or 5 years. LJK has played well in this event but still no match for Wang. Congrats to both for this marvellous match, full of fireworks and missles. Now looking forward to see the Paris Olympics.

Wang means KING in Chinese. It does really mean that!

  • @respekt200

Chuqin's stability is very high. Most of the time, he takes the correct body position, which allowing him to send the ball ON the table with a minimum percentage of errors. Incredible!

  • @hallsterr

WCQ's third ball attack is probably the best I've ever seen.

  • @ahtirgnow3340

WCQ got the skill and the head in the game, so fast and so calm.

  • @shanka3618

Watching WCQ beat Felix so definitively I kinda knew he would go on to win the whole thing. He's in hot form right now.

  • @quasarleon4645

SingaporeSmash is honestly the first TT event ,

    Amazing play!

  • @schwabvilmos6257

Da To played extremely well, almost without any error. Good short ball handling, spin from both sides. LJQ had some chance only when attacking WCQ forhand or underspin on the BH.

    unbelievable match 👏🏻🔥
