Huh, that’s a good question, actually. I sort of thought of it as he wouldn’t have become a lawyer as early as he had because he wouldn’t have had the influence of von Karma and probably would’ve been able to take it at his own pace. Hm, perhaps. That may have been a better choice. I think I may have just been trying to mimic the music from the actual The First Turnabout (I can’t quite remember because it’s been awhile since I made this video), although in hindsight using Investigations music could’ve really given it the feel that it was Edgeworth and not Phoenix who was in court. I’m glad you enjoyed it, however!
imagine an alternate second case: - Ray Shields is killed by Redd White - Him and Kay Faraday are family friends, and were supposed to meet up (same as Mia and Maya obviously) - Kay discoveres the body and is arrested by Detective Lang - Prosecutor is Phoenix Wright - Edgeworth defends/investigates with Kay - Edgeworth wins the case and Kay becomes his assistant the idea for the AU is honestly amazing, it's like Undertale and Underswap if you've heard of that

Since this was based upon the au I’m writing, Gregory’s still alive, and there was a different event in Phoenix’s life that caused him to become a prosecutor. But since I’ve started extending this into a rewrite of the actual series, I’ll most likely be switching DL-6 to Phoenix instead if I ever get to Turnabout Goodbyes.

While I love this you should've used edgeworths theme from investigations rather that the cornered theme

So did Gregory still died in this AU? Or was it Phoenix who lost both of his parents? Because DL6 is like THE canon event.
Since this was based upon the au I’m writing, Gregory’s still alive, and there was a different event in Phoenix’s life that caused him to become a prosecutor.
