I love Delerium. I"m from Vancouver and have been a fan since early 90s. The "live DVD" they put out was absolutely horrendous. This, however, is fantastic. It is exactly what I would want to see.....!
its just a few days ago that i re-unbefriended nasty byte. she did official dvds for fla and delerium using my energy. she hates donald trump, yet bends the knee for melinda gates.

@@ronromijn79 From what I gather Kristy is pretty much done making music, hasn't been anything from her in several years. She's settled into family life.
Wow geiles Interview mit Bill Leeb vorweg in deutsch! 😍🥰 Kannte ich bisher noch nicht! Bin Fan von Delerium, Front Line Assembly und Skinny Puppy.. die Musik meiner Jugend 😪
The credits are a little vague, but big thank you to whoever mixed this. This is a great mix. (Thomas Flemming or Bernd Abromeit?). Big ups to whoever the monitor engineer was too! This is probably as close as we will ever get to a "Kristy Sings The Hits" album. She is the voice of Delerium and the most versatile one on their roster. From soft to powerful, from airy to sassy, from low notes to soaring highs, she's the only one who could do all of these songs. Just being asked to do Lisa Gerrard parts is.... definitely a thing. When I saw this tour here in the states they had Leigh Nash along with Kristy. I would have preferred it just be Kristy. Anyone reading this not familiar with her band in the 90's, The Rose Chronicles, should definitely look up Awaiting Eternity.
Thomas mastered it and Bernd recorded it. The mix was done by the soundmen of the tour technically. Can't tell you who he was from my memory, but I do remember the lights guy was Rico and the tour manager was stijne edge from Benelux... Agreed this whole set w Kristy was top, but this concerns the whole band
@@janhenrikbauer So this was just Left-Right off of the house console, and not multi track? Wow. It hardly ever comes out this good on recording, as the guy mixing live is mixing for the room, not the recording. For the North America tour they had one of the Reely brothers mixing, I don't recall if it was Glen or Greg. I'll also agree with one of the other commenter, this is better than the official Epiphany live release.
@@MichaelStrick9 yes it was supposed to be multitrack but they couldn't do that as far as i remember. It wasn't Glen or Greg, I met Glen on 3 occasions in 2006+7. If you wanna know how this was done you could try to find Bernd abromeit online and ask him, he refused to work with me after this gig, which for me was driven by 100 percent enthusiasm and 0 sanity or budget concerns uargh
Delerium rocks out here. Kristy is having a blast, and you can tell compared to other videos online. I love finding killer live performances from electronic artists that are able to convert their sound to a live stage and incorporate rock elements. French Band Air has some great concerts on youtube also. Post here if anyone knows some others I should check out.
Yeah, there are some of these songs that I think Kristy is better on than the original singer, Innocente is one of them. After All is another, and I really like Jael.
Então dá uma boa pesquisada que Delerium é phoda, chefe. Tem muita coisa boa. Mas muita mesmo. Você vai virar fã e meio! Abraço. And greetings for all of you from Brazil!
LOL poor Bill Leeb didn't want to get rained on. XD I would also really love to have this concert released on CD, along with the Epiphany live DVD. The tracklist seems more or less the same but the renditions of these songs are different, and "Lost and Found" is a new addition. Kristy Thirsk is one of my favorite Delerium vocalists and I love hearing her perform songs that she didn't actually sing on the studio recordings. It gives the songs a bit of variety from the album versions.
@@janhenrikbauer Really great concert and wonderfully filmed. The crowd is dead on their feet, but the show is fantastic and Kristy is in fine voice throughout. :) I really wish Delerium would do more live shows and release a few live albums from the concerts.
@@janhenrikbauer That would've been amazing. Karma is my favorite Delerium album. I love all their output, including the "archives" albums (the first 7 and the Euphoric EP). Very different sound, but I like them all. Frontline Assembly is also great. I think I'm a weird fan though in that I love all their work, but prefer the newer albums (Semantic Spaces onwards). Most people tend to like "old" Delerium or "new" Delerium, and those who like everything seem to prefer their old work. I even loved Chimera, Nuages du Monde, and Music Box Opera, though Mythologie disappoints just a little because all the ethnic flavor is gone and it sounds more like mainstream pop. Rhys Fulber's recent Conjure One album also disappointed me because the music sounded so spare and most of it was devoted to one guest singer. Just a bunch of club beats and none of the lush textures I associate with Fulber and Leeb. I wonder what the new Delerium will sound like.
I worked at a cool furniture store in Vancouver called Liberty around the year 2000, for a few years. They pretty much only played Delerium! I loved working there, partly thanks to Delerium and the owner who choose to play them, and never got tired of listening to it. I even got to sell Sarah Mclachlan and her husband a bunch of furniture! Lovely lady, and just noticed he is the drummer here, and was also very nice.
22:09 Not gonna lie - I've never been a huge Leigh Nash fan. I totally feel that she is deserving of her tracks in Delerium though, and I don't have a problem with her. But hearing Thirsk do this track is such a weird adjustment! I'm ok with it though. :D
@@janhenrikbauer Since when criticising a vocal performance negatively equals to "insulting"? You are ridiculous, are you not ashamed of your response? Seriously.
