Speed up the upgrades of 4 and 6 track upgrades for higher frequencies. Run higher capacity trains, including bi level. The peak demand on this network is 1.6 lakh passengers per hour. A heavy metro line can do 50,000 only.
even-though the demand is of 1.6 lakh and the metro line can only provide services to 50000 but it will help reduce the load on the current trains by approx. 30% also we don't want the whole of 1.6 lakh to shift the only requirement is to have the load distributed evenly among various sources such as monorail and metro. More or less the upgrades mentioned above are also necessary.
