Interesting. I don't do music on my bike but, I am a big fan of quality manufacturers. The attention to detail looks amazing. I have been in the music business for over 40 years touring all over the world so music is work to me. My Rinehart 4.5s give me all the music I need.

Hog tunes has always made a quality product better than stock but when they released the Wild Boar Audio they really did the homework and created a very High-quality product that is Amazing!!!
Interesting you guys are flashing the radio, as it makes sense to do. When I called Hogtunes to inquire about this kit they told me flashing was not necessary
It is not a must but it Lowers the output from the radio giving you a cleaner signal going into the amp so it is cleaner as it is amplified coming out.

Because of your videos, I have a Mustang seat on my new bike, a new windshield, and now I'm getting the Wild Boar Sound System, AND will be looking for the Fairing Exchange at this year's Rallies. Good job on the videos, "selling" for your sponsors. NOT so good for my wallet.
I put the 4 speaker Ultra kit on my 2016 last summer. I had an amp go out and Hogtunes replaced it with no problem. I upgraded my amps to the new 400 watt amps and this system will absolutely blast now.
I didn't have the same experience. we are removing it all sending it all back and going with sinister audio.was not much louder than stock.2022 ultra limited

@@firechickenracin its a 22 so you don't. the system is a little better than stock but doesn't hold a candle to the kicker and no where near the rockford. we decided to go with sinister just waiting to see if they will take it back or we are stuck with it. if we are ill do a full video on it and show how underpowered it is so people don't waste their money on it when there are much better choices out there.

I didn’t install it myself, I paid a shop to do it. They have been in touch with them and it’s all setup correct. The system stinks. It’s not all that. It’s like a 800 watt stereo but they only let you use 100.
The shop we used was even dissatisfied with the results. They do a lot of bikes .

I need to hear this system in person if you’re down towards central Arkansas anytime soon 😂 been looking for an upgrade and never woulda considered a Hog Tunes set up, but it sounds impressive, as much as a video can relay anyway
I had a bad experience with hogtunes. Went with Rockford fosgate instead. I won't get into the details. Best decision I ever made.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Hog tunes has always been a good product for us but we use their high end product. Wild Boar product is Very high quality and sounds Amazing!! I am not knocking the Fosgate system. it has come a long way but i will still put the Wild Boar kit up against it and have a great system at a fair price.
@@paulbarber4892 rockford is a louder clearer system also better because the optional radio on my limited is made by them too.hogtunes was good back in the day but the new bikes and computers don't like them, they need another year to catch up. also hoftunes customer service is crap. they talk to you like you are dumb and it is not a plug and play system. don't waste your money because when you aren't happy there is no returns. they are a Canadian company and the stores online here who sell it will not take it back either . I found out the hard way it cost me $1700 and I'm spending 2K to put a rockford fosgate in. it is that much better and have the emails from them to prove what I am saying.they take your money and you are screwed . I may make a page online warning others to not get screwed and save people from frustration. not to mention my riding buddy and longtime friend knows the owner of hogtunes and I'm still screwed. they aren't a good company and tons of complaints but they don't care.
@@paulbarber4892 the wild boar kit doesn't even compare to Rockford. 2 the representative didn't know his product. 3 the only system it might beat is Harley's boom audio. Wild boar is at the bottom when it comes to aftermarket stereo. By the way I got a Rockford 6 speaker stage 3 for what it would have cost me for a 4 speaker set up with wild boar. Paying for speaker lids and having to paint them was part of the wild boar kit.
Rockford fosgate been in the game for decades.
Cheaper I don't think so.
@@mikepsly73 you obvoiusly have an issue that goes beyond the product. I am glad you are happy with the product you have. We have installed hundreds of these systems and we have great reviews. Everyone has their right to express their opinion. I am not challanging you just trying to give proper information. If you ever get to an event where we are set up and you would like to discuss it or see what it should sound like we will be happy to talk with you. Ride safe and enjoy your music with whatever system you like.

honestly you could have done a better aftermarket set up with a quality dsp for less and have a better set up... But as long as you're happy.
We all have an opinion. Until you have used this product you just do not know how good it sounds. This is not competition audio. It is a great quality product for the person that wants plug and play audio that is Loud, clean and crisp as you ride.

we have tried them, again ok item ,but many companies now make plug and play kits that sound much much better with a better SNR and THD as well as keeping most if not all the amplifiers upfront as well to take up no space in the bags.and yes everyone has an option even you😉
I don't know what system you have seen but the wild boar system has both amps inside the fairing.

Nice setup but looks like they’re using factory speaker wires. That’s like buying a Big Gulp and using a coffee stirring straw to drink it.

Good eye! In this case the short length of factory wire will handle the power that the amp will be pushing to the speaker without restriction. Using the factory wire for this run also keeps the plug and play aspect of the kit and all factory connectors, seals and grommets are left in place. The interconnect wiring that is used in the fairing, and supplied with the Wild Boar kit, is 16 gauge, twisted pair wiring ensuring excellent signal transfer!
There are a ton of hidden features in those #Hogtunes speakers! Crank it up!
What hidden feature do they have?
So when will that particular kit be released? And the cost? If I could get ahold of 1200 vs the 900 watt id be highly inclined to pull the trigger on it. Who knows the existing 900 kit may be adequate?
The 1200 watt system has not been released as a kit at this point. We (The Fairing Xchange) can put the kit together for you. The 900 watt is very loud and clean for sure. The 1200 is probably more than most normal people want but we and not normal! We want it because it is possible and makes people go WOW!! :)

when you talk about going with huge amps like you are talking make sure you know how much draw they need to perform. The bikes charging system will only put out so much and then you start to lose sound quality as well as possibly damage your charging system. If you are doing parking lot competitions, then you are right. play a song or two and put it back on a charger.
