Cosmos Saxophone Quartet - “Atom Hearts Club Quartet” (by Takashi Yoshimatsu)

After a successful performance at the 2023 National Concert Band Festival in Auckland, the Cosmos Saxophone Quartet, based in Auckland, New Zealand, has selected a piece with a very different character to further grow our repertoire.
We are hobby musicians who have been playing the saxophone for many years and enjoy getting together regularly to practice a variety of different music.
This is our performance of the first, second and fourth movement (of 4) of Takashi Yoshimatsu’s “Atom Hearts Club Quartet” at the 2024 National Concert Band Festival held at the Gallagher Performing Arts Center in Hamilton, New Zealand.
