Hello I am checking out your other videos. I saw the movie Speedway back in 1968. I was young then. At the cinema in the foyer before we entered to take our seats a man was giving out posters of Elvis. I was happy to receive one. It was a portrait of him. I like his last studio recorded 1976 album Moody Blue. I like the song Moody Blue and the second single lifted of it titled Way Down. You have some classic records there

You don't like Elvis Gold Records Vol 3, why not? There's some great songs on that album. "Little Sister", "She's Not You", "Fame and Fortune" and "It's Now or Never" which sold 20 million copies. Are you sure you're an EP fan?

I always like to see the RCA logo on albums. The first album with pink/green lettering would look much nicer with the logo in pink/green, looks bare without it.

In St. Louis back in May, found it (AFL1) without a price tag at a little record store, and I asked the lady what does she want for it. She said oh that's in our bargain section...$1! Then in September I found an AQL1 black vinyl Moody Blue. Had to pay $52, but happy that I now have both versions.

Don't ever be hesitant to say when you don't like something because your opinion matters, and some Elvis fans need to get over themselves. Plus, I for one, am always curious as to which albums and songs other fans like and dislike. So, keep doing it. I will share that I've been a fan since 1973. My favorite album is also From Elvis in Memphis, and it, along with Elvis is Back, are considered by critics as the two finest of his studio albums. I also agree with you that Burning Love and Hits from His Movies, is an abomination. To include one of his biggest singles with such a God-awful, yawn fest of an album -- for a contemporary artist --is downright embarrassing and a colossal waste. But that is not to say, all the Camden/Pickwick albums were bad. That one happens to be one I dislike VERY much. Lastly, you may want to revisit Gold Records Volume 3. Thanks for sharing your collection with us!
Don’t disregard the Pickwick albums just yet. If you can stick with the original RCA, Camden blue label ones, kool, but a lot of the Pickwick albums were remastered for optimum, sound quality and some of them sound great, better than the originals.
Those Pickwick releases you are showing where first issued under the RCA Camden label. I don't like Pickwick releases either, they are cheaply made and the cover art is mostly very ugly. But if you have to blame someone for the bad tracklisting on those albums, blame RCA and not Pickwick. They just sort of reissued the original RCA Camden albums. By the way... You have the original RCA Camden Separate Ways jacket, unfortunately the record inside is Pickwick. No, I am a HUGE Elvis fan I love every album he has ever done. I’m just saying I’m not a big fan of a lot of the movie compilations even Elvis hated them. I have my opinions and you have yours. I adore Elvis he was an amazing person and a wonderful singer. I have started making these videos about Elvis vinyl to show my love for him and share my collection with the world. Have a nice day!
