Phil, I’ve lost count of how many of your videos I’ve watched. I’m just a DIYer but your advice is invaluable and coming from someone who knows what they’re talking about. Also, love your delivery, can tell you’ve spent many many hours teaching others and it shows. Keep up the amazing work 👍 also having grown up in Burton on Trent the accent remind me of home.
Morning Phil. Have you used Lickpro satinwood water based paint. Just thinking about trying it, and wondered what your view was. Alternatively what is the your go to satinwood water based paint. Cheers Phil.
I've used the eggshell, have you seen those videos yet? Satinwood, all comes down to what job you're doing.. loads of good one... ScuffX, H&G, Isomat, PuGloss, Bedec Aqua Advance, Dulux Heritage. you wouldn't go wrong with any of them tbh
Nice and different, great vids thanks, just on another topic I'm looking at getting a site pole stand-up light, can I enquire make and model and how it is rated? cheers
Lick paint is self priming which i dont think you mentioned. First coat goes on not as well as the 2nd. I would water down the first one just a tad as it spreads far easier. 2nd coat.. you dont.. it goes on great. So far for me it hasnt flashed. I really like it, but its not as good as Little Greene... as far as im concerned they are still the best.
no, not used that colour as yet... whites, pinks, and their beiges. I have however used LG very dark colours in both intelligent matt, architect matt and egg shell... all fantastic
Which Lick product are you talking about thats self priming?.... I asked them about the satinwood over old oil based paint and they recommend using an adhesion primer
You need some ultra violet paint to bring this to life 😜. Looking forward to seeing the finished room 👍
