These are some of my simple and quickest meals. I like to have lentils, soup, broccoli and much more. I can make marmalade pie but I prefer to make it when I'm at my parents house. 🥧 I have 3 questions for you. Check my description box ⬆️
I really liked this video and am impressed how thrifty you are, I guess savings from food you can use towards travel when the lockdowns are over. I get a once a week delivery from Sainsbury £60 or £70. I also spend around £100 a month on Just Eat takeaway food. Food is a big source of pleasure for me and I can't cook so my bill is very high. Its good to see if my income reduced I could survive on much less at the Lidl near me. I would buy a wheeled basket to take things home in, just not a tartan one as I would feel like a granny :)
Good topic and really interesting to see what you cook. Agree with ugly plates lasting longer, good hack! I was spending around £20 a week at local Coop, but found out about the Sharehouse, part of a local food project in Sheffield, where you go to get nearly out of date food and donate a minimum of £1. I eat much better and like the randomness. My favourite meal is Homity Pie or any pie and chips, salad's good too. Leicester is fantasic for curry tho, lucky you!
Thanku for this helpful comment. Was wondering if such projects are available in Nottingham too? I'll be moving there in 2022, and it would be very useful
Wow that is really cheap for cost of living on food, amazing prices. You are lucky you have so much space in the fridge 😛. And you have a big kitchen too! 😍. I can't see the three questions in the description 🤷♀️. Haha your editing is improving so much, you are funny video too😁😁
Where do you buy groceries? I'm actually the type of person who looks for offers, so I usually buy long-life food like pasta, rice and tuna in lower prices from amazon pantry(not sure if it's available in Nottingham) or Tesco, then I store them for months, much more affordable. what makes me spend a lot of money is buying from international grocery stores =). How much do you spend weekly and monthly on food? never counted how much. What's your favourite meal? salmon with cream sauce and rice
Are frozen "heat and eat" meals cheaper? Also, didn't know u have to pay for bags 😱 in my country all the bags are free. Never really thought about it until u mentioned it, thanku!!!

So.. I spend about £200 per week on groceries but I am living with my bf, so there's two of us.. plus we used to eat out before the restaurants were closed. My favourite food is seafood, but I don't eat it often. Thai food is my favourite food 😊. I do my grocery in different places, sometimes Tesco's, Lidl and ASDA.. depends on certain desserts, type of sauces or a particular thing. Otherwise, lidl is best for everything for price. 👍
