People been calling this trash legend “underrated” since S12 and I have never struggled against her or clutched with her. She is ass with a low pick rate for a reason. Her abilities are so situational and easy to counter.
As a Newcastle main, the mobile shield speed increase is definitely the way better one of the two blue perks. The shield never gets destroyed anyway and being able to actually push up or retreat not at a snail's pace for once would be nice.

as a Newcastle main I kinda disagree. maybe I just get shot at a lot lot but a strong shield to me is more important than the speed. usually I place my shield where it needs to be and I don't have to make it walk so much, however with a stronger shield I can hold down a broken part of my ult wall for longer in the final circle. or I can just really push/distract people who are focus firing on my shield while my teammates are healing/ repositioning for the ambush.

Bangalore is getting a massive buff with being able to ping everyone who shoots at her. That seems very short-sighted by the devs. She's already the most picked character because of the smokes. Now she'll be able to ping/see enemies hidden from the smokes. It's like a built-in digi threat.
I don’t see a problem. Also, it ain’t that big of a buff; it’s a ping, not a scan, and there’s most likely going to be a cooldown of however many seconds between pings.
It’s not even good. As a season, one player, if you get shot at, and you don’t know where you got shot at, turn your headphones up, you should be able to tell exactly where the bullet came from.

Yeah I'm surprised everyone just ignores that part. It's not +1 mirage, it's 50% less cooldown time on the ultimate. Yeah hp regen is nice but is it as good as being able to ult every fight? Hell no? Also it makes the bamboozle refresh that much better.
For real even if it’s slow - the enemy is getting hurt while you’re getting stronger what an advantage def better than bangs smoke regen plus all the tacticals - you may not even need to grab meds anymore 😅
@@bradazbell4360 the real reason why that is op is: the bangalore smokes are just like: "yeah you fight in the smoke and everyone walks in it that is normal" but NOBODY pushes into an active caustic gas trap so you can always just pop the ability and heal
to be honest a small amount of perks is actually useless it realy depends on a playstyle of a person thats using them which i appreciate because this is the entire point of having perks for the characters
i am a newcastle main and this "small amount of perks that are useless" describes his whole kit. the first level perks are so bad that even bobz could not decide on one because both dont have any value or impact for the game and the second perk always goes to the revive perk, which is so fucked up because EVERY OTHER SUPPORT LEGEND gets it at his first level up in the early game except for newcastle who has to wait for the second level up to get the same ability that all other revive legends already have
@@timeless.racoon7518 really? like okay the shield takes a little longer to break and yes that is not a nerf but just compare that to wriaths insta phase, a good horizon tactical cooldown, mirage with a 30 seconds ult cooldown reduction and an extra ult decoy, a lifeline red weapon or self revive and valkyrie with higher ultimate range, bangalore with 25% ult cooldown. i personally think the buff to the shield hp or the extra speed for his shield should have been normal buffs anyway since he is neither meta nor has he a good pick rate. and limiting you to only one of these buffs is kinda dissaponting to me

I wish they gave Ash the ultimate perk like in mobile to use 2 short ults within 7 seconds. When pushing use ult, knock somebody then quickly dash to get a better position and finish the rest of the team off or to heal behind cover.
i think the extra mirage decoy perk in ult is better not because of the extra decoy but because of the fact that the ultimate cooldown goes down to 30 seconds which is insane because u can bassicly spam ults
Yeah that is also true, I just thought that if ur playing mirage you’re likely the only support so it’s nice to have a support buff. I definitely see tho that fast mirage ult sounds amazing
The mirage extra ult decoy one will be really good, because it also reduces the cooldown by 30s, changing it from 1 minute to 30 seconds, which will be really strong
TBH on Ash it depends how often the scan refreshes on that 60s perk. If it tracks enemies like mirage's bamboozled scan or at least scan every 5s, it could be better because it would be free wall hack when 3rd parting.
I've been maining Wattson since season 2 and I feel Power Pylon (Double Pylon shield heals and Pylon health) may be better if it makes it survive a Crypto EMP and I'm already used to using 1 pylon anyway so having 1 really good pylon may be more suited to my playstyle, but we'll see. If you have a loba teammate that can help you grab ult accelerants than Full Coverage (2 pylons and faster accel speed) would definitely be better, but if you have a Vantage or Lifeline stealing your precious accelerants than Power Pylon may be your best bet. If Wattson becomes meta, which she honestly might with how great her perks are, there will definitely be a bunch of Cryptos who will come and destroy your 2 pylons you have setup, wasting 2 ults. Both of these perks are super good and I'm having a hard time deciding which ones I will rock. Great vid btw
I'm totally playing Mirage next season. the fact that his ult will have a shorter cooldown than some tacticals in hilarious. I'm gonna make so many decoys no one will know whats going on, even myself.
The devs have done a really good job as I personally believe there is no better perks. They have been made to suit different playstyles - for example, pub stomping vs ranked. Its gonna feel so refreshing to have something to work towards in the game

Especially if you go ult upgrade, anyone who runs reduced tac cooldown is trash
@@magnumon4483 newcastles mobile speed is pretty good. The shield is super slow meaning you can't ever use it to actually reposition. With this you could more effectively get to new cover.
In terms of competitive usage I think we could see a meta with Valkyrie, Wattson, and NewCastle coming. Perks Valkyrie: Extra Thrusters to get better positioned in zones and then Full Coverage just as better tacticals for better area denial Wattson: Renewable Energy for late game having nades, and Full Coverage for extra coverage and being able to replace right away if one gets broken NewCastle: Resilient Support, for being able to get a shield up that can’t be broken as easily with coordinated spraying, and Stronghold for the being able to be slammed into a spot in a zone with Valkyrie’s ult and having a viable defensive position (same idea as why you want the extra hp on his tactical)
nah, Newcastle is definitely not going to become meta randomly. 250HP on his shield is nothing, a coordinated team will blast through the top part within 0.5 seconds, with people still having ammo to spare in the mag. faster shield movement is decent, but it's mostly for getting away. reviving them with more health is kinda irrelevant in comp, it can be nice but most teams can easily blast through your knockdown or knock the other player near instantly, 50HP isn't much. Wattson definitely has a place, 2 ults and being able to get a lot of arc stars late game? damn straight. Valkyrie is not going to see the light of day again, her ult being reverted can be nice, but that's about it, but the introduction of evac towers literally destroyed her ultimate, even if she can go higher again, bigger radius for her missile swarm? good but again, not going to sway her into a meta position. better aerial movement and more jetpack fuel? good, but again, not going to swing her into a meta spot. Honestly, I can see Lifeline getting some usage again, but most teams will want to hard focus Lifeline due to potentially having a self rez, just knock her and thirst ASAP. this isn't going to majorly upset the meta since most just get slightly better or stay around the same position, Octane having 2 jump pads is nice, sure, but if you got a team against with good aim, you're dead before you can deploy your 2nd jump pad. Gibby might see a return though unfortunately concidering a faster CD bubble and it being smaller will make it easier for teams to use him again, the only hard counter being maggy, which rarely anyone use, and that won't change with the perks, her perks are mid at best.
I don't play Seer really, but I think everyone is sleeping on his Theatrical Projection perk. I haven't heard anyone I follow see it for what it's supposed to be: an entry move. You throw it farther so when entering a fight(most likely while third partying another fight, and preferably if they are fighting in a building) you can throw it in front of you and see your enemies positioning and direction while you head in, instead of throwing it down mid fight amongst the chaos around you. It's pretty much the ultimate third party perk, which in this game is the best kind of tool to have
Really great breakdown, imo Mirages -30 sec cd and it refreshing tac is huge, also the Depth on Maggie’s charge with that perk is insane how much the spread is
Honestly, she's on that fine line where 1 buff couldale her Too op . I can see some changes by the end of the season on some perks that seem useless. Horizon, naded and qnbuff
She's in a place where while I still think they should completely remove and replace her tactical (it's basically a free shield battery, easily gets the whole team to high ground and recharges pretty quickly) I feel like she's fine where she is
I agree that bigger ult range is problematic when you need to quickly EMP, but if you have time to set up your drone to sandwich the enemy, then they pretty much can't escape it.
Crypto's perks are a massive disappointment, in general. It won't improve his playability much, sadly. It's clear they still have no idea what to do with Crypto's out-of-place kit. But, yeah, aside from levelling up armor in high-tier ranked or something, a bigger ult is more dangerous than helpful.
We need bigger spikes on catalyst, more health, more debuff at ult and barricade 40 doors to destroy 4 times no door and 6 times with door and 2 granades but this would be to overpowerd. But now it just the not nerved catalyst just with a larger ult.
Ye im ranked/pubs agressive Catalyst main and i love this half control half skirmisher gameplay on her but i get why people hate it. Lets just hope she will not nerfed to the ground like Seer someday

the perk where ballistic gets 2 charge is the opposite, perfect for playing solo duos as you will be able to block both players instead of fighting a blocked one and then have to fight a normal one you can make both players pay attention to push and fire at you. that plus the ultimate means almost instant team wipes in duo

If you guys could replace one legend perk with one of your own design. What would it be? For me I would scrap Ash's perk that lets her snare capture multiple people at once and instead give her a perk that increases the range of her ultimate
Inspired by other comments on here: I’d say give ballistic better blue perks, an option to reload 20% faster at all times (stacked with is ult he would truly feel like John Wick)

The 30s cooldown on Mirage ult is better than the 75 hp regen in my opinion. Having an ult every single fight and even twice per fight is very powerful.
Great news for Ash! She has always needed to be able to Tac while shooting. Shadow Pounce refresh on knocks and shorter cooldosn for me as a Rev main sounds siiiiick!
Is Bamboozle Bonus effected by his ULT? I can imagine it being absolutely mental in big team fight to be able to just chuck out decoys everywhere lmfao
I can immediately see a difference between how i'm viewing these and yours. A lot of your picks are beneficial for the player themselves and their survivability. As an anchor player, Caustic main, I really look at what benefits my team. Horizon I on T2, they're both just meh. T3 her ult is one of the highest CD's in the game and any reduction is good. I feel Revenants callout ability could be really good depending on its "radius" but agree T3. Pathfinder I agree overall if you're a better player. But any damage reduction can save a life especially on his hitbox size, depends on the damage reduction here really. Agree 100% on Wraith. Disagree 100% on Valkyrie. Her old ult + better missile swarm will return her to her former god tier status, but if you're a solo movement player I can see why you'd want the bonus fuel. Agree 100% on Octane. People are used to his stim damage, people can already tap strafe on pads. Vantage i dont think the ult accel boost really does anything for her. It's not something i use on her and she's my 2nd most played legend. You also tend to have your tactical more oft than not if you need to push after an ult shot and that improved double jump lets you get there faster. You'll also get more out of it over the course of the game. Crypto is my 3rd most played. That's a huge ult reduction. For T3 that bonus range seems strong but isn't. He operates fine with what he has and an increased range means you're also more likely to hit yourself.. However being able to tap out the drone and call out enemies like a bloodhound ult then recall is insanely strong. Disagree on Bloodhounds T2. His scan is what he's used and you want that more. Agree entirely on the T3. Any kind of sustain being added to perks is probably going to always be the way to go. Agree on Seer. Maybe if you're learning Seer use the faster movement for his T2 so you dont get caught out while trying to scan but better players just bring it up and down quickly. Agree on Revenant. Could go either way with her T3 though. Being able to snare 2/3 players out of ring for a longer duration during late game could just wipe a team, having the 2nd charge will just be more reliable. Bangalore agree T2. I still feel any kind of sustain is strong but information is also insane. Anyone shooting at her gets pinged for your teammates and that can really help your 2nd frag figure out an angle to take. Maggie. Damn. These are like all good. Really her T2 is fine either way, but i'd personally always take Fireball over the shotgun reload. Fuse. Agree 100%. Ballistic. Feels shafted on perks tbh. T2 isn't that great. T3 it's really whichever you prefer, agree on suggested. Catalyst. Agreed. No reason to take the other 2. Guess T3 you can make an argument that the longer wall gives you more rotation options though but the duration increase will just provide more on average. Rampart. Honestly. Dont play her enough to know here. I'd like to say running hot will probably save your life more oft than not over the other option but. Not my place to say. Wattson T2 is really just what you want to provide. 50hp is huge, spawning arc stars is also huge even if you dont end up using them. That double pylon health and capacity though is too big to pass up. 100% agree on my main, Caustic, there's no reason to take the other options. Ult range increase is just insane and healing inside gas with fortified means that if you cant close out the engage, which is difficult to do against the "best" controller legend, he WILL just outsustain and whittle you down. Newcastle. Agree. Loba. Agree. Lifeline. I feel the faster revive will just provide more on average, getting teammates into the fight faster can just win the fight. Agree on T3. Mirage. Agree T2, T3 should always be bamboozle refresh.... holy fml. Conduit. Agree on both. Great to see she'll be even more opressive. Gibraltar I agree. That smaller bubble is actually a huge buff, enemies pushing you in your bubble ult combo have to take another hit from ult to get there making him riskier to push and allowing an easier reset.
Bangalore health smoke is good in a very situational.if you have her an octane and crypto. You smoke a team cryptos drone tells your octane where to go and can rush easy and Bangalore can rush to due to healing and regular dubal time. So you have a 2 skirmishes and for an added bones crypto uses emp blast. (I am sorry for any misspelling)
@@bobz shotguns are useless without bubble and not all shotguns mantain Gunshield activation. Pk deactivates gunshield in every pump as well as the mastiff in every kick. Only Mozambique and Eva8 can keep the Gunshield active but NOBODY USES ADS ON THE EVA8. This perk is rubbish for it depends on the bubble which is expensive in terms of utility usage.
@@bradazbell4360 exactly. Having 50 hp is way useful. In a 1v3 you can generate 150 hp for free without the need to shieldswap. This can clutch in 3rd parties with bubble and ult smoothly.
For Bangalore I do think they should replace the grenade with a quick hand passive: where when she gets shots by the enemy she reloads quickly or if there is less ammo in your gun. Or one where if you don't have ammo for a gun you get extra stacks of ammo spawn in for you or something like that.

octanes direction change perk is good for controller players but since mnk have that ability already i don’t see why they’d need to use it. i think it’s a good perk for people who want to be able to do similar movement
Definitely a game changer, that way when the devs need to balance characters, they can focus on tweaking perks as opposed to having to rework entire kits.
I love your optimism mate but I think you’ve forgotten that although Apex is a team game, random team mates don’t understand that - if given the option between reviving your team mates with full hp or -1 damage needed for each evo upgrade, you best believe 99% of the player base is going for the -1 (that becomes 100% if the abilities on octane)

Oh man ballistic first set of perks isnt doing it for me. Does he really need extra ammo ? His ult already makes him have infinite from time to time and as an assault he can stack more. Getting more ammo seems superfluous.
Its not a totally useless perk with the extra space you can stock up on more grenades than you usually would. Grenade spam could come in clutch in certain scenarios.
Will this get Valkyrie back to a pre-nerf state? If it gets her movement close to what it used to be, she could rocket(yeah, you see me) up to a high tier.
With Pathfinder, imagine you’re pinned without an easy way out for your team. Zip line out usually is a “shoot at me! Shoot at me!”: does the perk help the team?
At 200 evo for your team for scanning beacons. Vantage can do both scan and ring consoles. Pick people at long range. She's going to prove mor valuable for the team with her quick leveling.
I feel like a lot of people are ignoring how good Catalyst will be again in the new season; whether you grab dark veil lifetime or length with the extra spikes, in any situation she will become a powerhouse (as she already was). Now we just need an heirloom...
I disagree on both Maggie picks but that’s what i like about this character perks. But shotguns reloads with Maggie will be crazy now that it’s not a sub meta. Just my opinion that no one cares about
The first set of loba perks i agree the second one though id rather go for reduced cd. Im aggressive with loba so having my bracelet more for pushing is worth it
Bangs about to be a tough fight outside the ring and in the end game. That healing perk is actually really good. It's like she has fortify and still gets double time too. I can also pop a smoke before healing if i miss the mark outside the ring.
Yeah the healing perk will be nice just not as op as people assumed. Her other perk can highlight enemies shooting at you even through smoke. So you could even track them through smoke without a digi threat
I kind of prefer the auto reload on shotguns for Gibby if it just fills it up with no animation then I feel it would be quite useful if you play up close for fights.
I think for balistic it wouldve been better had they given him a perk that reduce reload times for his guns and then also give him something for reduced recoil to show case his mastery on all the guns.
I'm curious on the Watson ult spawning arc star, if it gives arc stars for everything intercepted or just grenades. If you get an arc star for each of the bombs from a Gibby ult you will be able to get so many, by potentially having your own Gibby ult your own ult.
Ive just thought about something for pathfindesr reduced damage when riding riplines.. in the start of the season there may be some bugs about that perk taking less damage in storm whilst riding his ziplines so if it ever comes to endgame and you need to rotate through zone it might work. Thoughts...?
Rampart upgrades should be for her shields not ammo, left side upgrades for blue with shock (slow movement) ability like every other control legend. Right side should have more health to shields. Left side purple should be ult cooldown -15% and improved handling. Right side should have what it says. I ducking hate how useless rampart is now with these perks. Like seriously who’s gonna take racetrack ammo when you have a giant gun already.
I feel like ash’s perks aside from making her tactical better are pretty mid. I think either an extended range to her ult or a second charge as a perk would be nice. Her passive doesn’t really need anything and the death box scan is pretty situational, unless you come across a few boxes while rotating.
Wait a second. Bloodhound already has an interaction that charges their ult. If you use the tactical to scan the raven, it charges up the ult by 15-20% I think? What’s the point of the second level 2 perk?
Mad Maggie is gonna be so slept on and problem cause that Ult comes back quick and with two tacticals and fireball ULT and her passive with the shotgun say goodnight
Fellow bloodhound mains, we watch people complain while we REVEL IN REDUCED TACTICAL COOLDOWNS AND AN ULT THAT REWARDS CRAZY ENGAGEMENTS IN TOP 5. Have fun scanning the entire enemy team and sending a wave of fear through the remaining 2. Teammates when they see their friend get knocked within 5 seconds of the scan
The seeing stuff through walls seems odd given that you have to have your shield upgraded which would be after looting, generally doesnt seem that usefull

Bangalore is getting a massive buff with being able to ping everyone who shoots at her. That seems very short-sighted by the devs. She's already the most picked character because of the smokes. Now she'll be able to ping/see enemies hidden from the smokes. It's like a built-in digi threat.
I don’t see a problem. Also, it ain’t that big of a buff; it’s a ping, not a scan, and there’s most likely going to be a cooldown of however many seconds between pings.
It’s not even good. As a season, one player, if you get shot at, and you don’t know where you got shot at, turn your headphones up, you should be able to tell exactly where the bullet came from.

Yeah I'm surprised everyone just ignores that part. It's not +1 mirage, it's 50% less cooldown time on the ultimate. Yeah hp regen is nice but is it as good as being able to ult every fight? Hell no?

@@bradazbell4360 the real reason why that is op is: the bangalore smokes are just like: "yeah you fight in the smoke and everyone walks in it that is normal" but NOBODY pushes into an active caustic gas trap so you can always just pop the ability and heal

to be honest a small amount of perks is actually useless it realy depends on a playstyle of a person thats using them which i appreciate because this is the entire point of having perks for the characters
i am a newcastle main and this "small amount of perks that are useless" describes his whole kit. the first level perks are so bad that even bobz could not decide on one because both dont have any value or impact for the game and the second perk always goes to the revive perk, which is so fucked up because EVERY OTHER SUPPORT LEGEND gets it at his first level up in the early game except for newcastle who has to wait for the second level up to get the same ability that all other revive legends already have

@@timeless.racoon7518 really? like okay the shield takes a little longer to break and yes that is not a nerf but just compare that to wriaths insta phase, a good horizon tactical cooldown, mirage with a 30 seconds ult cooldown reduction and an extra ult decoy, a lifeline red weapon or self revive and valkyrie with higher ultimate range, bangalore with 25% ult cooldown. i personally think the buff to the shield hp or the extra speed for his shield should have been normal buffs anyway since he is neither meta nor has he a good pick rate. and limiting you to only one of these buffs is kinda dissaponting to me

I wish they gave Ash the ultimate perk like in mobile to use 2 short ults within 7 seconds. When pushing use ult, knock somebody then quickly dash to get a better position and finish the rest of the team off or to heal behind cover.

i think the extra mirage decoy perk in ult is better not because of the extra decoy but because of the fact that the ultimate cooldown goes down to 30 seconds which is insane because u can bassicly spam ults

The mirage extra ult decoy one will be really good, because it also reduces the cooldown by 30s, changing it from 1 minute to 30 seconds, which will be really strong
TBH on Ash it depends how often the scan refreshes on that 60s perk. If it tracks enemies like mirage's bamboozled scan or at least scan every 5s, it could be better because it would be free wall hack when 3rd parting.

I think that's just an increase in the amount of time it stays on the ground, like when its a trap. I don't think it snares them for longer

I've been maining Wattson since season 2 and I feel Power Pylon (Double Pylon shield heals and Pylon health) may be better if it makes it survive a Crypto EMP and I'm already used to using 1 pylon anyway so having 1 really good pylon may be more suited to my playstyle, but we'll see. If you have a loba teammate that can help you grab ult accelerants than Full Coverage (2 pylons and faster accel speed) would definitely be better, but if you have a Vantage or Lifeline stealing your precious accelerants than Power Pylon may be your best bet. If Wattson becomes meta, which she honestly might with how great her perks are, there will definitely be a bunch of Cryptos who will come and destroy your 2 pylons you have setup, wasting 2 ults. Both of these perks are super good and I'm having a hard time deciding which ones I will rock. Great vid btw
I'm totally playing Mirage next season. the fact that his ult will have a shorter cooldown than some tacticals in hilarious. I'm gonna make so many decoys no one will know whats going on, even myself.
The devs have done a really good job as I personally believe there is no better perks. They have been made to suit different playstyles - for example, pub stomping vs ranked. Its gonna feel so refreshing to have something to work towards in the game

Especially if you go ult upgrade, anyone who runs reduced tac cooldown is trash
@@magnumon4483 newcastles mobile speed is pretty good. The shield is super slow meaning you can't ever use it to actually reposition. With this you could more effectively get to new cover.
In terms of competitive usage I think we could see a meta with Valkyrie, Wattson, and NewCastle coming.
Perks
Valkyrie: Extra Thrusters to get better positioned in zones and then Full Coverage just as better tacticals for better area denial
Wattson: Renewable Energy for late game having nades, and Full Coverage for extra coverage and being able to replace right away if one gets broken
NewCastle: Resilient Support, for being able to get a shield up that can’t be broken as easily with coordinated spraying, and Stronghold for the being able to be slammed into a spot in a zone with Valkyrie’s ult and having a viable defensive position (same idea as why you want the extra hp on his tactical)

nah, Newcastle is definitely not going to become meta randomly.
250HP on his shield is nothing, a coordinated team will blast through the top part within 0.5 seconds, with people still having ammo to spare in the mag.
faster shield movement is decent, but it's mostly for getting away.
reviving them with more health is kinda irrelevant in comp, it can be nice but most teams can easily blast through your knockdown or knock the other player near instantly, 50HP isn't much.
Wattson definitely has a place, 2 ults and being able to get a lot of arc stars late game? damn straight.
Valkyrie is not going to see the light of day again, her ult being reverted can be nice, but that's about it, but the introduction of evac towers literally destroyed her ultimate, even if she can go higher again, bigger radius for her missile swarm? good but again, not going to sway her into a meta position.
better aerial movement and more jetpack fuel? good, but again, not going to swing her into a meta spot.
Honestly, I can see Lifeline getting some usage again, but most teams will want to hard focus Lifeline due to potentially having a self rez, just knock her and thirst ASAP.
this isn't going to majorly upset the meta since most just get slightly better or stay around the same position, Octane having 2 jump pads is nice, sure, but if you got a team against with good aim, you're dead before you can deploy your 2nd jump pad.
Gibby might see a return though unfortunately concidering a faster CD bubble and it being smaller will make it easier for teams to use him again, the only hard counter being maggy, which rarely anyone use, and that won't change with the perks, her perks are mid at best.
I don't play Seer really, but I think everyone is sleeping on his Theatrical Projection perk. I haven't heard anyone I follow see it for what it's supposed to be: an entry move. You throw it farther so when entering a fight(most likely while third partying another fight, and preferably if they are fighting in a building) you can throw it in front of you and see your enemies positioning and direction while you head in, instead of throwing it down mid fight amongst the chaos around you. It's pretty much the ultimate third party perk, which in this game is the best kind of tool to have
I prefer both of Ash's other choices, 60s scan on your prey and a lasting snare is sooo good
I think double snare just works nicely with the new ash buff that lets her throw while shooting

I agree that bigger ult range is problematic when you need to quickly EMP, but if you have time to set up your drone to sandwich the enemy, then they pretty much can't escape it.
Crypto's perks are a massive disappointment, in general. It won't improve his playability much, sadly. It's clear they still have no idea what to do with Crypto's out-of-place kit.
But, yeah, aside from levelling up armor in high-tier ranked or something, a bigger ult is more dangerous than helpful.
I feel like 2 tacs should be built in for ash and the other t3 ability should just be they can't follow you in your ult

the perk where ballistic gets 2 charge is the opposite, perfect for playing solo duos as you will be able to block both players instead of fighting a blocked one and then have to fight a normal one you can make both players pay attention to push and fire at you. that plus the ultimate means almost instant team wipes in duo
Also remember that Mirage "Bamboozle Bonus" also trigger from his ult decoy, i had fun sending unlimited decoy outside of my decoy ring.

Inspired by other comments on here: I’d say give ballistic better blue perks, an option to reload 20% faster at all times (stacked with is ult he would truly feel like John Wick)
Make one of seers purple passive remove all enemy abilities in the ultimate field, so constant silence.

The 30s cooldown on Mirage ult is better than the 75 hp regen in my opinion. Having an ult every single fight and even twice per fight is very powerful.

I can immediately see a difference between how i'm viewing these and yours.
A lot of your picks are beneficial for the player themselves and their survivability. As an anchor player, Caustic main, I really look at what benefits my team.
Horizon I on T2, they're both just meh. T3 her ult is one of the highest CD's in the game and any reduction is good.
I feel Revenants callout ability could be really good depending on its "radius" but agree T3.
Pathfinder I agree overall if you're a better player. But any damage reduction can save a life especially on his hitbox size, depends on the damage reduction here really.
Agree 100% on Wraith.
Disagree 100% on Valkyrie. Her old ult + better missile swarm will return her to her former god tier status, but if you're a solo movement player I can see why you'd want the bonus fuel.
Agree 100% on Octane. People are used to his stim damage, people can already tap strafe on pads.
Vantage i dont think the ult accel boost really does anything for her. It's not something i use on her and she's my 2nd most played legend. You also tend to have your tactical more oft than not if you need to push after an ult shot and that improved double jump lets you get there faster. You'll also get more out of it over the course of the game.
Crypto is my 3rd most played. That's a huge ult reduction. For T3 that bonus range seems strong but isn't. He operates fine with what he has and an increased range means you're also more likely to hit yourself.. However being able to tap out the drone and call out enemies like a bloodhound ult then recall is insanely strong.
Disagree on Bloodhounds T2. His scan is what he's used and you want that more. Agree entirely on the T3. Any kind of sustain being added to perks is probably going to always be the way to go.
Agree on Seer. Maybe if you're learning Seer use the faster movement for his T2 so you dont get caught out while trying to scan but better players just bring it up and down quickly.
Agree on Revenant. Could go either way with her T3 though. Being able to snare 2/3 players out of ring for a longer duration during late game could just wipe a team, having the 2nd charge will just be more reliable.
Bangalore agree T2. I still feel any kind of sustain is strong but information is also insane. Anyone shooting at her gets pinged for your teammates and that can really help your 2nd frag figure out an angle to take.
Maggie. Damn. These are like all good. Really her T2 is fine either way, but i'd personally always take Fireball over the shotgun reload.
Fuse. Agree 100%.
Ballistic. Feels shafted on perks tbh. T2 isn't that great. T3 it's really whichever you prefer, agree on suggested.
Catalyst. Agreed. No reason to take the other 2. Guess T3 you can make an argument that the longer wall gives you more rotation options though but the duration increase will just provide more on average.
Rampart. Honestly. Dont play her enough to know here. I'd like to say running hot will probably save your life more oft than not over the other option but. Not my place to say.
Wattson T2 is really just what you want to provide. 50hp is huge, spawning arc stars is also huge even if you dont end up using them. That double pylon health and capacity though is too big to pass up.
100% agree on my main, Caustic, there's no reason to take the other options. Ult range increase is just insane and healing inside gas with fortified means that if you cant close out the engage, which is difficult to do against the "best" controller legend, he WILL just outsustain and whittle you down.
Newcastle. Agree.
Loba. Agree.
Lifeline. I feel the faster revive will just provide more on average, getting teammates into the fight faster can just win the fight. Agree on T3.
Mirage. Agree T2, T3 should always be bamboozle refresh.... holy fml.

Gibraltar I agree. That smaller bubble is actually a huge buff, enemies pushing you in your bubble ult combo have to take another hit from ult to get there making him riskier to push and allowing an easier reset.

Bangalore health smoke is good in a very situational.if you have her an octane and crypto. You smoke a team cryptos drone tells your octane where to go and can rush easy and Bangalore can rush to due to healing and regular dubal time. So you have a 2 skirmishes and for an added bones crypto uses emp blast. (I am sorry for any misspelling)
Bangalore can also be replaced with caustic’s healing perk then you can save crypto

@@bobz shotguns are useless without bubble and not all shotguns mantain Gunshield activation. Pk deactivates gunshield in every pump as well as the mastiff in every kick. Only Mozambique and Eva8 can keep the Gunshield active but NOBODY USES ADS ON THE EVA8. This perk is rubbish for it depends on the bubble which is expensive in terms of utility usage.
@@bradazbell4360 exactly. Having 50 hp is way useful. In a 1v3 you can generate 150 hp for free without the need to shieldswap. This can clutch in 3rd parties with bubble and ult smoothly.

For Bangalore I do think they should replace the grenade with a quick hand passive: where when she gets shots by the enemy she reloads quickly or if there is less ammo in your gun. Or one where if you don't have ammo for a gun you get extra stacks of ammo spawn in for you or something like that.

octanes direction change perk is good for controller players but since mnk have that ability already i don’t see why they’d need to use it. i think it’s a good perk for people who want to be able to do similar movement
They should make a pathfinder perk called brawler. If you grapple someone with your hook the melee attack from that does significant damage.
The Octane jump pad direction change was made for controller players. That’s actually so sick

Two pads is so much better. You can crack a team, push pad, then throw another down to get back out.
Definitely a game changer, that way when the devs need to balance characters, they can focus on tweaking perks as opposed to having to rework entire kits.
I love your optimism mate but I think you’ve forgotten that although Apex is a team game, random team mates don’t understand that - if given the option between reviving your team mates with full hp or -1 damage needed for each evo upgrade, you best believe 99% of the player base is going for the -1 (that becomes 100% if the abilities on octane)

Oh man ballistic first set of perks isnt doing it for me. Does he really need extra ammo ? His ult already makes him have infinite from time to time and as an assault he can stack more. Getting more ammo seems superfluous.
Its not a totally useless perk with the extra space you can stock up on more grenades than you usually would. Grenade spam could come in clutch in certain scenarios.

With Pathfinder, imagine you’re pinned without an easy way out for your team. Zip line out usually is a “shoot at me! Shoot at me!”: does the perk help the team?

At 200 evo for your team for scanning beacons. Vantage can do both scan and ring consoles. Pick people at long range. She's going to prove mor valuable for the team with her quick leveling.

I disagree on both Maggie picks but that’s what i like about this character perks. But shotguns reloads with Maggie will be crazy now that it’s not a sub meta. Just my opinion that no one cares about

Bangs about to be a tough fight outside the ring and in the end game. That healing perk is actually really good. It's like she has fortify and still gets double time too. I can also pop a smoke before healing if i miss the mark outside the ring.
Yeah the healing perk will be nice just not as op as people assumed. Her other perk can highlight enemies shooting at you even through smoke. So you could even track them through smoke without a digi threat

I kind of prefer the auto reload on shotguns for Gibby if it just fills it up with no animation then I feel it would be quite useful if you play up close for fights.

The balistic increased duration only affects how long it stays in tge world, not how long it stays on a player
I think for balistic it wouldve been better had they given him a perk that reduce reload times for his guns and then also give him something for reduced recoil to show case his mastery on all the guns.

I'm curious on the Watson ult spawning arc star, if it gives arc stars for everything intercepted or just grenades. If you get an arc star for each of the bombs from a Gibby ult you will be able to get so many, by potentially having your own Gibby ult your own ult.
Ive just thought about something for pathfindesr reduced damage when riding riplines.. in the start of the season there may be some bugs about that perk taking less damage in storm whilst riding his ziplines so if it ever comes to endgame and you need to rotate through zone it might work. Thoughts...?
Well if you shield up in a smoke and the perk heals you thats not bad plus if ur out of seringe end game that can clutch
You mentioned Bloodhound's ult gains time with each knock. Unless they reverted it, they removed that in S18
Yes you take less damage from enemy grenades by taking Wreckless as octane, which is nice, but I think they want you to grenade boost yourself ;)
Rampart upgrades should be for her shields not ammo, left side upgrades for blue with shock (slow movement) ability like every other control legend. Right side should have more health to shields. Left side purple should be ult cooldown -15% and improved handling. Right side should have what it says. I ducking hate how useless rampart is now with these perks. Like seriously who’s gonna take racetrack ammo when you have a giant gun already.
Well if you use her last stand with reduce revive and a gold revive. She's extremely dangerous
For console Octane players, they cant tap strafe so both are helpful for us.

Rampart lvl 3 perk running hot sound very good and ultimate upgrade is just haveinb an alt out all the time
Not all the time but yeah the perks are great and really cater to 2 rampart playstyles.
Left perks for ult
Right perks for weapons/LMG’s
I feel like ash’s perks aside from making her tactical better are pretty mid. I think either an extended range to her ult or a second charge as a perk would be nice. Her passive doesn’t really need anything and the death box scan is pretty situational, unless you come across a few boxes while rotating.
It's an actual slap in the face that you have to take a perk just to not holster weapons when using her Q
Lifeline self revive is fine but if you have a good shot at getting a kraber every game, you take it

Wait a second. Bloodhound already has an interaction that charges their ult. If you use the tactical to scan the raven, it charges up the ult by 15-20% I think? What’s the point of the second level 2 perk?
I think it’s a full charge on the ultimate (I could be wrong tho)

Fellow bloodhound mains, we watch people complain while we REVEL IN REDUCED TACTICAL COOLDOWNS AND AN ULT THAT REWARDS CRAZY ENGAGEMENTS IN TOP 5. Have fun scanning the entire enemy team and sending a wave of fear through the remaining 2. Teammates when they see their friend get knocked within 5 seconds of the scan
For me I get the fireball level one on Maggie
The seeing stuff through walls seems odd given that you have to have your shield upgraded which would be after looting, generally doesnt seem that usefull
