Do you know how to sweep or naw? Also, 52 Week Guitar Player is CLOSED until mid-September. We just closed in June so now is a super early time to get on the waiting list . We'll only be accepting 100 new students (see related video "How Good is 52 Week Guitar Player Actually" for more info)
I'd also like to add, slowly move your hand closer to the neck with every string you hit and use the palm of your hand to mute the previous strings. You can also play sweeps faster if you if you hammer on the up stroke instead of picking it
I never practiced sweep picking because everyone I've seen on RUclips said it's not important. It's cool, granted, but it isn't an important skill according to a lot of guitar players.
You're probably trolling guithre govan uses them Some of the best guitarists use them Some things are impossible to play clean without them Straight up impossible, as in, not a skill issue If you used them in jazz or something sure that would be dumb.
If Guthrie Govan and Steve Vai are cool with them I see no reasons why I should care about random RUclips comment #5274628 saying they're "cheating" lmfao
@@Yelien_37 again it depends on the style of music. For example 2 handed tapping lines often you need them even when practicing But I'd agree you shouldn't use them for like general shredding and sweeping.

Now I'm playing with a sock on the top of my strings in front of my family (they probably already called an Asylum)
I honestly thought it was a sponsor for a sec
Whoa it’s his special sock
Very good advice here
I've never managed to incorporate sweeps into my playing I've tried but it sounds forced n out of place
Hi Brandon, how do you do this for barred sweeping patterns?

I need a new lesson on how to understand your lessons
Last one sounded the same 😅 I’m screwed

Whatever gets the music out, man. Who really cares?
You should not use them when practicing so you know if your playing cleanly or not but why not when live or performing a cover?
