You might be able to stop the strap buckle squeak with a pencil. Put a small amount of pencil graphite on the buckles where plastic parts rub together. This should minimize the noise. However, you might need to reapply the graphite every few days.
this is my primary daily outing sling and in normal use, which I think I mentioned in the video, it isn't an issue, I don't hear it. It might have "corrected itself" too with use and some rotation because I haven't noticed it being a thing anymore so far
Great video! Love the space and organization of the bag. Also don't love the look - hope they start coming with different colors - but I love Tomtoc generally so definitely thinking about this
it's all about preference, it's funny because on some reviews I read some people didn't like the blue interior, I think it's cool they change the colors for some product differentiation. Feel free to come back and share your experience with the bag!
Use a candlestick! My great uncle who was born in the early 1900s Used cheap candlesticks cause it's a very hard wax, but it's very smooth, on zippers and old school, wood on wood, drawer slides (like in antique dresser/sidboard). Lasts a really long time when you just rub it really hard on the wood Reducing drag and wear on the old wood. Try it on a drawer if it's sticks as well. when I had my kitchen redone. They weren't supposed to paint the drawer boxes in the cabinets But they did and they started sticking really bad. I just rubbed wax on them everywhere I thought there was sticking and no more issues!
@@jjhebert1 it is a great wallet I keep trying to replace it and buying others only to come back to this one. It's very old and discontinued and I haven't found anything of its size that can do cash card and coins compactly. It is from cuir Danier
every now and then I look through new wallets to see if any of them fit my needs to replace this one, just because I want a brown wallet now instead of black, so if you ever find one let me know!
i have the coyote brown xpac version of this bag and it will fit an ipad pro 11”, though not in the sleeve against the back of the bag. it would need to be carried in the main chasm of the main compartment.
It's called marketing, can't fault a company for doing so, my review was honest, I laid out what I liked and what I didn't. It's good to have a little bit of skepticism regarding reviews - and I'm not here to convince you that my review is honest because you seem to have made up your mind. I actually like this sling more than the Alpaka Gear I reviewed last year and am selling the Alpaka and keeping this one instead (for now).

Good review, cool product, you’re likable and thorough without being boring. Easy subscribe. :)
This is my go to sling. Actually i wore this everyday as i can store all my stash inside 😂😂😂
My friend, that is a very nice sling. If I didn't have one already I would buy that one.
Love this bag for carrying all my EDC with iPad mini and Apple Pencil when I need extra things like water bottle (16 oz Zojirushi tumbler).
good choice of tumbler! you know your stuff

ya Tomtoc has always been great design but just not killing it in the looks department and honestly, it's ok cuz it just works so well
I love it! It's Marcos. I'm an instant fan Jess! 😁
@@motoraway6763 haha hey Marcos!
Good review. Just ordered in brown/tan xpac ... let's hope I like it. I did prefer the blue interior of yours, but whatever.

I love mine!!! its a great value
If it squeaks, use bar soap and rub it on the locks. Helped me so much. Apparently, you're supposed to avoid liquid lubricants.
@@Ryko000 good to know! Is this a general thing for all plastic buckles?
i rub it with a candle, works too

I love the bag and I will purchase one however I noticed your wallet and would like to know the make and model

Zipper makes no noise, *zips zipper* zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 😂
loll when walking or moving the bag I mean, the zipper pulls if they're in metal make noise on the hardware
Would a 12.9 iPad fit in this bag?
Nope. iPad mini would be the biggest Apple device

It won’t fit an iPad Pro 11. That’s all that is needed.
I believe the other sling I reviewed would fit! ruclips.net/video/Iki69xrxh5Q/видео.html
Gees these companies are trying to hard to get these youtubers to flog their products kinda getting sick of dishonest companies and content creators.
