Just came back from Bergen and had a FANTASTIC time...I visited Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallin and of all of them, Bergen stood out to me the most - the Fish Market, the fjords, the architecture, the people....were just awesome! I had a great time.
Hi, I generally recommend coming in June, possibly late May, as that is the driest time of year. I also recommend visiting the main art museum Kode, the natural history museum, and the leprosy museum, as Bergen and the surrounding area was a hotspot of leprosy up until around a century ago. In many countries, leprosy is called Hansen's Disease, after a Mr Hansen who researched in the city. BTW, many locals use umbrellas even when it's windy -- it's all in the wrist.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Very nice thanks for the video Bergen looks like a interesting city all those old houses very cool structure, i have never seen sea lions and penguins nice, nice to watch but a animal that makes me laugh sometimes its the Australian kangaroo. The fortress wonder what happened there in old times i like sometimes to read about history, im trying to learn some strange icelandic sagas its very interesting the stories. The hot dog and the sushi looks tasty and the gondola in Ulriken looks like a nice view, i think the longest i do not know if the name of that it is gondola but a large trip wagon its in vietnam and thailand. Maybe someday i go there to visited
Haha, it was very nice seeing all the animals at the Aquarium. You should definitely take a trip to Bergen, maybe drop by Iceland on the way there too 👏🏻🇳🇴
@@HeddaOlborg thank you my friend you look like fun tour guide to hang out with it that trip you make in 🇹🇭 it was short but i think you should go again, thai energy looks good on you, maybe if I go to norway I ask you where to go and you show me 🇧🇻 and then we go to see that air wagon in 🇹🇭 and🇻🇳 😹 maybe we catch out a strange ufo alien in the sky 👹🤪👽🤣
South West England where I live gets awesome Sunny and pretty dry Summers. Our Winters are not great, but at least we get good Summers, Bergen gets loads of rain even in July.
@@samuelbarrett9403 I'm not weather expert. But i googled average rainfall comparison, and it seemed west coast scotland had more. West Coast does have a lot more than day Dundee or Edinburgh. But I've not lived in bergen, can't compare from experience 😁😁
Thanks! We actually flew there but took the train back to Oslo, so beautiful 🙌🏼 I would really recommend getting to Bergen by train if you have the time 😊
Thanks! I did not rent a car while I was there but if you book a normal taxi you can just ask for what we call a "maxi taxi" and that normally takes up to 15 people I believe 😊
Hi, thank you! It depends on what you compare it to, Norway in general is more expensive than a lot of other European countries. Especially if you want to eat and drink at a restaurant.
@@HeddaOlborg oh wow, that's amazing lol. Thanks - we are taking the train from Oslo to Bergen and will definitely be doing Ulriken thanks to ur trip report. And trying to get some pronunciation more accurate which is a benefit of hearing you say the place names. Kia Ora to you both x
идея хорошая, но, если позволите, немного критики. Вы хотели показать Bergen, но 99% картинки - это Вы на фоне чего-то. Видео можно назвать - я "там-то".
Great video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

Scotland gets a lot more rain on average according to Google than bergen norway and Lithuania, places both known for their rainfall 😄
@@maisieliberty1319 Scotland is wet, but not Bergen wet! 😂😂
