Personally, I think Kakyoin had a lot of character development that he missed because of N'Doul injuring his eyes. Maybe if he was there for the second half of Stardust Crusaders, he could become experienced enough to fight DIO and survive? If Kakyoin made it to Diamond is Unbreakable, he could've had a huge impact on most things. In the SHA battle, he could've prevented Jotaro from getting injured, maybe he could've helped discover Kira earlier? He might've even been able to be the one who killed Kira. Unfortunately, at the cost of Araki's immortality, he has a bad memory, and forgot how the germans revived a man who EXPLODED in the 1940's, but the Speedwagon Foundation didn't even try to help Kakyoin. Rest in Peace, Noriaki Kakyoin. 1972 - 1989. May the emeralds always splash.

The way made in heaven works is to reset the universe he must accelerate time past the point he started the acceleration. He cant change history but he can delete people in history effectively changing history. So because he was gone Dio was easier to fight because he either didn't figure out his time stop or learned it when it was to late. The enemy stand users were easier to fight because Dio Ethier found them to late or something. And we can assume all this because in the end of Stone Ocean Jolyne who is now Irene has super good relations with her father. He fought many foes, and became close friends with the Stardust Crusaders, despite the short time they knew each other. 50 days of friendship, to make up for 17 years of loneliness. When Kakyoin finally encountered 「The World」, the stand of DIO, he used all he could to fend him off. Even DIO was wary of such a skilled stand user, but it was no use. Kakyoin was punched through the abdomen and launched into a nearby water tower. His wounds were fatal, but in his final moments, he figured out DIO's ability, it was to stop time! He used his last emerald splash in a valiant attempt to warn his friends, and he died thinking of how no one could ever understand him before this, because no one could see his Hierophant Green. His noble sacrifice is the reason Joseph Joestar could figure out the Time-stop ability, and the reason DIO was defeated. Noriaki Kakyoin has retired, but we could not deflect the emotional impact his emerald splash hit us with.

Kakyoin was always my favorite jjba non-main character in the anime and games. My friends make fun of me for liking him because they claim he's weak and he died but deep down I know that Kakyoin was probably one of, if not, the best supporting characters in the jjba anime. Kakyoin knew he had only one chance to make this work, one chance to put an end to this horrible battle before Dio would claim even more lives; he had to make it count. He closed his eyes and steadied his breathing, letting the ripple flow through him, and with him, his stand. He snapped the eyes open, "EMERALD SPLASH!" Green emeralds burst from Hierophant Green towards Dio. Dio, scoffed and raised his hand to flick away one of them, hoping to make it bounce into and deflect the others, but as his finger hit the emerald, the finger disintegrated, and the emerald drilled into his hand. "Wryyyyyyyyy!" He exclaimed, as the other emeralds continued towards him, the frontmost finding their goal and burying into his body. "ZAWARUDO!" He yelled, disappearing into thin air, reappearing in the middle of the road as the rest of the emeralds blasted out the other car door to where he had just been seated. Kakyoin and Joseph promptly left their vehicle. "Fool! No one can just deflect the emerald splash," Kakyoin taunted, "You think I just spent my hospital stay resting on my laurels? When I was left at the hospital, I asked mr. Joestar if he knew of any tricks for fighting vampires, and he told me of hamon. I have spent all of my time resting practicing my breathing techniques." Dio disappeared into thin air, Kakyoin felt light impact on his torso as a hole appeared in his jacket, and Dio was now lying on the ground before him, his other hand disintegrated away as well. "Are you truly the powerful monster who killed Mr. Joestar's grandfather?" Kakyoin questioned, throwing off his jacket, revealing Hermit Purple wrapped all around his body, a small tendril running from his back to Joseph, "I would have thought that a foe like that would be more clever." Dio stared at Kakyoin in disbelief. Had he really fallen for such a simple trap. Then he refocused. If they were gonna use old tricks, so would he. He concentrated his power towards his eyes, preparing for an attack, but in focusing on Kakyoin, he neglected to watch Joseph, and suddenly, hamon flowed into him from everywhere, as Hermit Purple was wrapped all around his body. At this point, he knew it was too late, not even The World could save him now. Kakyoin further expediated his death by firing a hamon charged emerald splash directly at his head, finishing off the vampire for good. Wait, you mean to tell me this is not what happened?
The events of stardust crusaders went from November 28th to January 15th, therefore everyone of the crusaders was away for Christmas. I don't know why, but this always makes me sad to think that not only will Kakyoin's parents never know why he left, but had to spend Christmas wondering where the hell their son was, why he left and if he was safe. They were completely oblivious to what had happened in those 50 days, and that their son would never be able to return home to them, because he had sacrificed his own life to save the world, but more importantly, save the first friends he ever had. *Those 50 days were fun...*

This melody perfectly describes how heroic and kind, yet courageous and brave Kakyoin is shows to be in his last moments, the quiet person in the group always looking out for his friends, who independently of being just a teenager, makes the decision to risk his life for the sake of the world No, his sacrifice for me will never be "all for nothing" it did way more than remove a character for future parts The little we saw of him is enough to remember him for all the good he did, and memes he gave us, can't have bad moments if you end it on your highest note
I'm sorry to say it but kakyoin sacrifice has technically no use because star Platinium's ability was to stop time, so Jotaro would still know Dio's ability. But at this time, no one in the group knew that, so he sacrifice himself to know Dio's power.
The whole time I was watching the series I was like "please don't be the one that dies" especially when him and Jotaro gradually became better friends. But I'm glad he was at peace though. The reveal that he was exactly where he wanted to be, and found traveling with the gang fulfilling made it a lot less tragic. Godspeed wherever you are, Kakyoin

@@bunnothebunny3286 its supposed to be because since during the universal reset Pucci didn't accelerate the time past Cape Canaveral since Emporio killed him the universe was supposed to reset to how it wasbut because of Emporios pocket dimension it fucked up the universe a little bit since in this universe that is now the OG universe Pucci doesn't exist which means Dio never met pucci and it has a chain reaction of all the stand users the crusaders encountered being way weaker Because Dio met pucci before all the Crusaders stuff was happening. Which led him to find out more about his stand because of pucci being a priest and talking about god and shit. So since Dio never had those revelations with pucci he never found out the true abilities of his stand. And if he did it would be to late. Plus the made in heaven stand overview is basically it cant change the history but it can erase people from the past which in turn changes history. Pucci was a significant person to dio and since he is now gone Dios mental state also changed up as well. So he most likely discovered his stands abilities much later or not at all. And the reason why we can assume this is because in the end of Part 6 jotaro and jolyne or Irene to be more accurate are a better family. Irene has better relations with her dad Jotaro. Also he no longer has his PTSD in the end of part 6. He is a proper family man now. Part 6 ended where everyone from part 3 onwards has better lives. Part 1 and 2 went just like the simulations but 3 and 6 are different. 5 is still the same since Dio fathered giorno before he met pucci. Part 6 was a happy ending. So in conclusion kakyoin and the rest of the crusaders are still alive.
Despite the sadness of Kakyoin's death, he learned about true friendship in his time with the Joestars. He also knew going against DIO was more than likely a death wish, and walked into it (much like Will Zeppeli.) He only had one goal in mind: if he could not defeat DIO's Stand, he would at the very least uncover its mystery. He assumed that the Stand was some form of super speed, and his 50M Emerald Splash would let him know what was going on. And then DIO stopped time, and he figured it out almost immediately. Then he sent a message to the team that only someone as crafty as Joseph could understand. Taking down DIO was a true team effort, and Kakyoin died a warrior's death. I don't think he would anyone can truly say it was wholly tragic.

Personally, I think Kakyoin had a lot of character development that he missed because of N'Doul injuring his eyes. Maybe if he was there for the second half of Stardust Crusaders, he could become experienced enough to fight DIO and survive?
If Kakyoin made it to Diamond is Unbreakable, he could've had a huge impact on most things. In the SHA battle, he could've prevented Jotaro from getting injured, maybe he could've helped discover Kira earlier? He might've even been able to be the one who killed Kira.
Unfortunately, at the cost of Araki's immortality, he has a bad memory, and forgot how the germans revived a man who EXPLODED in the 1940's, but the Speedwagon Foundation didn't even try to help Kakyoin.

@NEVAEH DINORAH SMITH everything went on a s normal part 1-2,4,5 went down as usual, well mabey not part 5. 3 how ever since dio didn't meet pucci because in the now original universe pucci doesn't exist dio didn't find out his stand abilities in time. The way made in heaven works is to reset the universe he must accelerate time past the point he started the acceleration. He cant change history but he can delete people in history effectively changing history. So because he was gone Dio was easier to fight because he either didn't figure out his time stop or learned it when it was to late. The enemy stand users were easier to fight because Dio Ethier found them to late or something. And we can assume all this because in the end of Stone Ocean Jolyne who is now Irene has super good relations with her father. Which means jotaro is know longer a PTSD victim and is there for his family. In the end everyone is way happier. That's an explanation. If you care.

His noble sacrifice is the reason Joseph Joestar could figure out the Time-stop ability, and the reason DIO was defeated.
Noriaki Kakyoin has retired, but we could not deflect the emotional impact his emerald splash hit us with.

My friends make fun of me for liking him because they claim he's weak and he died but deep down I know that Kakyoin was probably one of, if not, the best supporting characters in the jjba anime. When I was left at the hospital, I asked mr. Joestar if he knew of any tricks for fighting vampires, and he told me of hamon. I have spent all of my time resting practicing my breathing techniques." Kakyoin questioned, throwing off his jacket, revealing Hermit Purple wrapped all around his body, a small tendril running from his back to Joseph, "I would have thought that a foe like that would be more clever." Dio stared at Kakyoin in disbelief. Had he really fallen for such a simple trap. Then he refocused. If they were gonna use old tricks, so would he. He concentrated his power towards his eyes, preparing for an attack, but in focusing on Kakyoin, he neglected to watch Joseph, and suddenly, hamon flowed into him from everywhere, as Hermit Purple was wrapped all around his body. At this point, he knew it was too late, not even The World could save him now. Kakyoin further expediated his death by firing a hamon charged emerald splash directly at his head, finishing off the vampire for good.

The events of stardust crusaders went from November 28th to January 15th, therefore everyone of the crusaders was away for Christmas. I don't know why, but this always makes me sad to think that not only will Kakyoin's parents never know why he left, but had to spend Christmas wondering where the hell their son was, why he left and if he was safe. They were completely oblivious to what had happened in those 50 days, and that their son would never be able to return home to them, because he had sacrificed his own life to save the world, but more importantly, save the first friends he ever had.

Everyone kakyoin is now fully alive do to the universal reset not happening properly in stone Ocean. So dont be sad he is alive now since part 3 went by alot smoother. The stand users were easier to fight and dio didn't have much time to learn his time freezing ability because he didnt meet pucci. I will say this again Noriaki kakyoin is now fully alive we no longer need to be sad.😁😁😁😁😁😁

@@bunnothebunny3286 its supposed to be because since during the universal reset Pucci didn't accelerate the time past Cape Canaveral since Emporio killed him the universe was supposed to reset to how it wasbut because of Emporios pocket dimension it fucked up the universe a little bit since in this universe that is now the OG universe Pucci doesn't exist which means Dio never met pucci and it has a chain reaction of all the stand users the crusaders encountered being way weaker Because Dio met pucci before all the Crusaders stuff was happening. Which led him to find out more about his stand because of pucci being a priest and talking about god and shit. So since Dio never had those revelations with pucci he never found out the true abilities of his stand. And if he did it would be to late. Plus the made in heaven stand overview is basically it cant change the history but it can erase people from the past which in turn changes history. Pucci was a significant person to dio and since he is now gone Dios mental state also changed up as well. So he most likely discovered his stands abilities much later or not at all. And the reason why we can assume this is because in the end of Part 6 jotaro and jolyne or Irene to be more accurate are a better family. Irene has better relations with her dad Jotaro. Also he no longer has his PTSD in the end of part 6. He is a proper family man now. Part 6 ended where everyone from part 3 onwards has better lives. Part 1 and 2 went just like the simulations but 3 and 6 are different. 5 is still the same since Dio fathered giorno before he met pucci. Part 6 was a happy ending. So in conclusion kakyoin and the rest of the crusaders are still alive.

We all have a *breakdown* when we remember deaths of good characters
Despite the sadness of Kakyoin's death, he learned about true friendship in his time with the Joestars. He also knew going against DIO was more than likely a death wish, and walked into it (much like Will Zeppeli.) He only had one goal in mind: if he could not defeat DIO's Stand, he would at the very least uncover its mystery. He assumed that the Stand was some form of super speed, and his 50M Emerald Splash would let him know what was going on.
And then DIO stopped time, and he figured it out almost immediately. Then he sent a message to the team that only someone as crafty as Joseph could understand. Taking down DIO was a true team effort, and Kakyoin died a warrior's death. I don't think he would anyone can truly say it was wholly tragic.

The utter perseverance, hope, confidence, action, bravery, determination and the side of intelligence, that THAT is how Noriyaki Kakyoin deals with enemies and I'm so disappointed that his death was just a mere blink of an eye. Humiliated, Dishonored by the likes of DIO and his stand za warudo... But regardless of ALL of that He, he still was able to leave a message to Joseph revealing DIO's stand and it's capabilities. His death wasn't important BUT his presence of being the likes of a true crusader was ultimately the most relevant. Noriyaki Kakyoin. A true jobro.
