Loosely describable as fear of the unknown This goes especially well with Nyctophobia, fear of the dark… Had shit happen irl and i can SURGE my speed (one of the faster runners in my school though i don’t have much stamina) so that came in handy…
My Biggest fear in Horror games is when theres a creature peaking around a corner. that always sends a cold dark chill down my spine. But the running towards you mechanic is pretty damn terrifying. Overall 10/10 Gorgeous looking game i will recommend to all my friends.
@@ZhaoPao yea anything that makes you look somewhere else or focus on that ( You Thought you heard a voice ) but in the corner of your eye someone is peaking at you and when ur curser comes into contact it goes away, Then ocasionally you hear something run towards you, then silence for awhile and repeat the cycle, it keeps the fear in you becuase you know someone is watching you and when u think you found them they run , because they will always find you.
Just from the title alone I'm expecting to experience that feeling in the middle of the night where you come back to your room after a night piss and your clothes look like a person in the corner
watching this with really good headphones with 3d sound enabled has me so creeped out, I kept looking over my shoulder thinking someone was in the room with me holy crap is this well done. the perspective sound is spot on top quality
The visual design on this one really is incredible, especially the contrast of the brightly lit room with the hung-up pictures and the very dark hallway leading to it. The general atmosphere is very spooky, but I do hope the final game isn't this scripted. While horror games certainly don't need to be difficult, it's hard to feel frightened if you don't think there's any chance of failure.
I get that "Luto" is spanish and should mean "grief", however when I looked it up the first result was "Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction", just went like "wtf is that game gonna be?!" :D
In this case, "luto" means "mourning" and refers to the "mourning" you keep when you lost someone important to you. I think that this game will be about de loss, loneliness and anxiety that you feel when you had a great lost.
this is legitimately one of the spookiest ghost games I have seen. I've watched so many I lost count & usually don't even jump but laugh when the streamer gets the BOO & jumps... but this one is intense & actually creeped me out pretty badly. [For context I have been on investigations in reportedly haunted locations & I am always the chill one that remains calm & level headed, just having a conversation.] This creep in the sheet, I don't want to talk to lol... when he went up the freaking wall I was done.
31:24 That monkey is so unsettling. Holy shit. Also the chains hanging from the non-existent ceiling reminds me of the living room in the game Shut In.
This was actually one of the scariest games I’ve seen, I usually don’t get that scared anymore by horror games, but this one got under my skin! Not knowing who or what was under the sheet really made me nervous
Was so captivated by this, and those sheets moved WAY too realistic, bravo!! Creepy sounds too & never knew an air freshener would be off putting lol!!
As insym reads the path to the right or to the left, wich one to be happy. i get an add of a guy saying "this one, this one" on a game called path to nowhere. The timing couldnt be any better
Some things that help with photo realism: *_1._* High detailed textures *_2._* Good use of post processing filters, such as Volumetric Lighting/God rays, bloom, Ambient Occlusion, etc. *_3._* More texture maps, like: *_a._* Bump/normal map (simulates 3d with 2d images) *_b._* Lighting/reflection map (determines how realistically light reflects off objects) *_c._* Detail maps (adds fine details when you get close to a texture: fingerprints, smudges, scratches, ect) *_d._* Ambient Occlusion maps (adds more realistic shading in areas that are more difficult for light to reach) A lot of games will only use Bump/Normal maps, because it's easier, smaller download sizes, and a bit more performance friendly, but the other map types add so much more realism. There's a lot of good Blender tutorials out there for making photo realistic textures. Anyone looking into making good looking scenes/objects, I recommend checking out Andrew Price's tutorials. He also has a site "Poliigon" that offers amazing premade textures.
This game looks great and sounds good, but I wasn't scared at all. Keep it up! Maybe in the future I'll have my favorite nightmare, thanks to your streams
Putting the air freshener in was really clever because I think we've all been spooked by those. I had one in my bathroom and was home alone and it scared the crap out of me. Even my dog started to bark at it. LOL
10:58 Whoa, that was a close one. Probably shouldn't watch these while drinking freshly made hot chocolate....I almost wore it. xD This game looks amazing. 33:00 ...a picture of Gizmo! From the 1984 movie, "Gremlins". Hanging on the wall. Easter egg, right? Lol
I wonder if there is a guy that hates Insym, this guy is a great guy with a big heart I hope you always being fine and creating videos for us to make us laugh ♥
I'll come back in 30mins when some people watched this, if any of you kind hearted fellas would wanna share the jumpscare timers just for a friend, he'll appreciate it.
@@jonnihopson5560 yeah, the normal emergency number is 112 but most countries also have 911 as a secondary emergency number as far as i know. Or to be more exact, you can call 911 and it automatically redirects you to 112 (btw. Thats also the case in america, if you call 112 there, you should be redirected to 911)
@@chipcoint9674 More accurately, countries have every emergency number; for example, if you're in Beligum and dial 911, it'll instead reroute to the standard emergency number of Belgium, or for whatever country you're in. Each country has all of them in case people are used to calling their own emergency number, so it makes it much simpler, and faster, to contact emergency services.
My biggest fear in scary games is hearing footsteps running toward you but you can't see what's coming towards you.
It’s scarier when it happens to you in person, I’ve been scarred for months

Sheet ghosts are the most terrifying. Confirmed.
This is the first time I've seen Insym genuinely taken back by a game :)
It's not just the visuals that are perfect, the sound design is astounishing too, i really want to see the full game

I love when games try to capture that PT or RE7 essence. All this haze and blur among other effects look beautiful and used right.
This was super rewarding, the detail was incredible! The fear factor really played with the limited FOV. Thanks for showcasing this Insym!
The Sheet ghost climbing up the wall made me think holy cow that would be freaky to see IRL
oh wow!!! getting pt vibes but this is definitely holding it’s own as something new!
this game is so terrifying, I literally jump back in my chair 💀💀 also happy to see you play this.

Bedsheet ghosts can't be that spooky.
The bedsheet ghosts:
The moment I thought you turned off your flashlight I was screaming why!! 🤣 just to find out the ghost blew out the candles… still gives me chills!
Insym is like old pewdiepie with indies horror
The movement of the ghost feels too real, really scary. I will have to play this game when it comes out.
Fun fact about the title: "luto" is the portuguese word to say you're grieving someone's death (but it might not be intended to be translated, unsure)
Fun fact: "Luto" means "mourning" in Spanish.
Ie. "Estar de luto" = "to mourn"/"to me mourning"
Those 👻 have to be the scariest sheets since Scooby Doo 😀😀

if only phasmo adapt the ghost event as seeing them in the corner then it walks away :)

my man said "no choices, its truly like a Telltale game" thats funny hahaha

The air fresheners in real life scare the crap out of me to put it in a game is so hilarious! 😆
those damn air fresheners, i had one in my place and it would startle me like twice a week!
Demo or not, but i wanted to actually be scared for a millisecond 😭😭
Watching chat getting triggered by insym not applying the settings is hella funny lmao

Did you play paranormal tales? its made in unreal engine 5 and its super realistic and crasy scary
