2D game can be scary. I remember that I played the 2D horror RPG "Corpse Party" in the past. And it is arguably one of the scariest horror games that I've ever played. I've never imagine that i can be scared by a game with a PoV like in a Pokemon game lol.
Oh gosh I was obsessed with Corpse Party as a kid. Would love if Insym tried it
I remember HATING the writing and characters in corpse party - to the point where I was estatic when they died.

@@ralarasha Same, I loved Corpse Party. If you want a game with a similar "vibe" to it, you could always check out the Spirit Hunter game series! That's my post-Corpse Party obsession haha
Yeesh all these comments make me want to talk about my favorite horror game and my favorite general genre, but it isn't 2d and doesn't fit here. Makes me sad, wish I had a reason to chat about my favorite horror game. Sadly, I know not of any 2d ones, the ones I remember were not that enjoyable to me. I personally disliked Corpse party, for reasons I'm not too sure of.

Its a story based game, but its iconic.
