Nice bike. Great mods. Thanks for sharing. Is you bike the ABS model? And if so did you have any issues with the cable length when installing the protaper bars.

The chain is slack like that until you sit on the bike and engage the gear.

I appreciate your run down finding it most interesting. I'm doing the same suspension as you and when I'm finished will have a bike that will take me where my Africa Twin finds too challenging. I've got all the parts and have been waiting for the bike to arrive for two and a half months and no eta yet. What way are going to go with luggage ? Cheers from NZ.

you raise good questions, my giant loop goes over any bike, its hard to fault it. If it doesnt fit, then it doesnt come with! Ill be waiting for a bigger tank, which is penned for release in June which should give me new options with fuel carry

Your bike looks great, thanks for sharing! What's your height and weight if you don't mind me asking..just curious for the suspension upgrade.

with taller tyres and upgraded suspension it sits about as high as my WR250R now, and you will definitely need a longer 1inch extended side stand - my trousers are Waist 33" and Leg32", im a 73KG rider when wearing basic gear

Hi POMMEY Biker.....in your video = I heard just the same noise that I have, since mounted yss rear shock..... it's like a v"enture of vent" but it is not a vent .... Have you heard it ? Each time on a hearing or obstacle in 3th 4th gear ... not slowly. / THX

That bolt us sticking out further than your skate wheels so if your using it for crash protection..its a fail
Because if you crash that bolt will be grouded down good luck taking it off

its not being used for crash protect, and its been replaced with steg peg as they are now available - its for standing on the pegs off road

Hi from Indonesia, I am waiting for my Rally here and planning some mods. I would like to go the YSS route as I do have it on my Indonesian CRF150L and really like it. I have two questions for you. What spring rates are you using? I know the rally is bit heavier but your rates would be a good starting point. The other question is about the cartridge installation. From what I understand the bottom caps have to be removed from the lower fork tubes. I guess Honda uses a rolled pin instead of a set screw to lock the lugs to the fork tubes. Do you have any tips info on the difficulty of the cartridge installation. Any info will be greatly appreciated, there are no suspension shops here, so i need to be able to do all mods with my basic tools I have. Thx in advance.

Seek the instructions from yss. They can help. I got mine done in a shop because I just couldn't be bothered. I got one standard 4.0 spring in one leg and a 3.5 in another to soften it up a bit. Best of luck.
