This is by far the most beautiful and well made tiny house I had ever seen.
The combined bookcase and ladder is awesome!
Finally someone use the front part of the trailer, bravo.
natrone23 Thank you!
Nice idea to make a table. I’ve just done similar in my big house on one of my windowsills.
Beautiful tiny house, love everything about it. Love the fireplace, very rare for a tiny house. I could definitely see myself living happily in this house, if I could find a place to legally live in it.
I saw this at an open house a few weeks ago in Nashville. I thought it felt spacious and that there was plenty of room. I'm 6'5" and didn't have to duck down in the kitchen, that's under the loft. Plenty of space to do what you need. The loft (even though there was no mattress) had enough room to situp in. Seeing this house, I thought, "I could do this, I could live in something like this" and it really peaked my interest in wanting to build one myself.
This tiny house looked well built and I enjoyed seeing it.
Thanks for bringing it to the open house.
Thanks for the compliments W4ABN. We do remember meeting you and discussing your height :) Glad you enjoyed the house and thankful it has encouraged you to consider building one for yourself. Happy Holidays!
Like this tiny house, the color of the doors is nice.Thumbs up!
Almost perfect but a few things, raise the loft roof about 2 ft, add open skylight in loft, extend the raised roof past the front door, replace the ladder and deep bookshelf with a small staircase with shelfs underneath(this might require you to move the window opposite the door over to not be blocked. Then it would be perfect.
Beautiful, nothing unnecessary, and the nested storage in the loft is gold!
And I hate the idea of maintaining a skylight. Nice to find something without that headache.
you guys hit the jackpot with this one
I love this! I want! I love the bigger fridge. Little stove top 👍🏼 microwave. Niiice plan!
Wow i love the design !
Thank you, chypres89!
I've looked at many plans and this floor plan it seems has more openness, it allowing the owner more room to operate, just the ideal project for someone transitioning from big to small. From what I'm seeing I see a small house with a big interior. For the floor plan was well planned out. Yes running water is a bonus.
I really love this Tiny House. It is so compact and roomy. The best I have seen yet.
Any way to customize this house with stairs instead of a ladder?
My favorite Tiny House so far. Perfect design.
I love this design! I only wonder if any of those loft windows is large enough to exit in the case of fire. Also, is that a microwave I see? Also a hot plate? I didn't see a stove. I would definitely want an oven and range (maybe three burners like I've seen with other tiny homes) and a washer/dryer combo.
I love this... I would dump my man to live in this lol xxx
cosy, different & lovely.
Very nice. I miss the builder's discription though.
really nice. lofts should have a slanted roof however, on one side only, so you can have a more spacious feeling. or just lift the roof up some. and a skylight would be great. very nice design overall.
Very nice, good job. I really think tiny houses are going to become more and more popular. It makes total sense. Set these on some pylons about 10 feet up with a wrap around screened in porch and I'm there. Hide the pylons with some lattice and a plant or two. Put the expendable items under neith. Hot water heater, washer dryer, freezer, water pumps, car, the stuff you don't need inside.
Put several of them near each other with a couple of rope "steel cable" bridges connecting them. Elevate them is important to avoid areas that WILL flood. Now where does flooding happen?
Wonder if FEMA could use something like this?
This house is stunning! Please continue building these homes. My fiancé and I plan on saving a lump sum within the next 12 months, so we can afford one. Are your homes suitable for off grid living?
Yes, by the way they are both on grid, and off grid.
Perfect color plan not boring!
Wow super I really like the part with the dining room set! great job guys!!!
love this layout!!
I would love to have one of these tiny houses because I'm tiny it will be perfect for me I am "5-0 feet tall
Nicely done! Thank you.
great job
Thank you, Faizal Bahari!
Nice house
So cozy
I love this house. I'm 5'3" and would love that space. That living room looks like a really good space, and I love the kitchen. I will be checking out your web page, as I'm shopping around for a tiny home of my own. Just got to learn how to drive and get a vehicle to tow the house with.
I like this lay out for 1 person. I would want a dropped celling /floor on the side where the loft is so I could stand and drop down drawers for storage, and stairs for safety since I'm 60 but other than that I think I like this one the best of all that I have seen so far.
I want it! Perfect!
Very nice. Love the fireplace and the use of windows at the front of the trailer. Can the window "sill" be used as a seat?
Beautiful Beautiful 😍
Wow, this is one of the best designs I have seen yet!!!! How much does a base model go for?
very well build, very good texturing of both wood and teh colours in teh kitchen. light and spacious. Would an extra small loft over the frontside for storage be an option? I would gladly livbe in something this nice! Very good job!
love it!!!
liked this house a lot. I would have to do something else for a table as the front area would be full of plants and such so would never fold it out. Like the idea of the little fireplace. Would like a skylight too over the sleeping loft. Otherwise top notch.
very nice color scheme
How much would this tiny house go for?
It looks like a regular house in miniature size. I just wish there was another option for sleeping. I couldn't do those stairs. But I love this space!!!
+Toni Cuningkin Davis There are a few options instead of stairs. You could do a winch/lever system, which would be really neat. Similiar to this- www.instructables.com/id/Disabled-hoist-lift/ but straight up.
It would be easy to make a straight up and down lift, and it would be space efficient. (I've been toying with this idea for a while. www.bpghome.com/ )
Plus, I think it would be a ton of fun for guests to try and figure out how to get upstairs, without stairs ;)
what would the options be if living off grid and there aren't solar panels to aid in electricity? I love this style and for what I would need it for, I believe it is perfect! I also wanted to know if a library ladder could be installed to roll behind the bookshelf to maximize the movement for the bathroom access? Overall I love it. This is the move spacious I have seen yet and for the price I don't think it could be beat; great job!!
Love the cabinets ! I hand built mine but I wish I would have saved time and just bought some...
what color green is that?? I love it . what are the measurement of this tiny house ?? I agree there isn't enough head room in the loft the Windows are already touching the floor. estimates on cost ??
Love it
Are those built in speakers on either side of the TV?
Great job! One design element I did not like was the placement of the ladder, if you have to go the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to move the ladder out of the way once you climb down, then put it back to get back upstairs.
Omg i am sold!! lol i was sold long time ago but this is a very beautful tiny house. How much was it to make this home ? im figureing your going to need quite the bank loan for this one! I really waNt this one :)
a spectacular home that would fill all my necessities. how much does a finished unit cost ? is it on a axle and wheel. did you have land , and does town ordinances have rules an regulation to addess living in a tiny house ?
Thank you for the compliments. This is a brand new home and the price is $44,500 turnkey and yes, it remains on the trailer. Before purchasing any house you should do the research for the location you wish to place it to make sure it is permissible. Please let us know if you have any other questions. If I live long enough to retire, I think I might want one of these tiny homes. I have an Interior Design background (with lots of studies in drafting, building codes, plumbing and heating, and furniture design, etc) and would want to design and draft my own tiny home. I assume that there are contractors out there who could build what a person wanted. I am wondering out loud where in Canada a person could settle their tiny house. I'm guessing perhaps mobile home parks or even on a small parcel of land. Beautiful wood in this tiny home.
you must be out of business....link to website went nowhere
I think it's nice except only thing id want is a 32" recessed niche for a tv with outlets
I really like this design, just curious as to how you get a mattress into the loft? I like the smaller opening leading to the loft but wonder how you squeeze a mattress through? Or is there more room there than it looks? Regardless, nice design!
Adam Larson How do you get a mattress through a door? Same concept. LOL
Fair enough, maybe the opening isn't as small as it looks!
Adam Larson Well the loft opening wouldn't be too small. I bet it would be more of a challenge to get it through the front door but you just turn it on its side, I guess.
It would be nice to see it with furnishings, and without the wide angle lens, which actually makes it seem claustrophobic (I've seen many tiny house videos and this is the first one that seemed/looked/felt cramped because of the camera shots)
I need a 1000sqare ft..about how much would it cost?
The finished effort looks great.
The only thing I'd do different is not use OSB on the floor and the back wall. i absolutely hate that stuff. If you can keep the compartment dry, it should last. I can certainly understand the desire to place solar panels on the roof, but on a HOT summer day it sure is nice to park up under a shady oak tree..
this cought my eye becuse i was born and raised in the Shenandoah vally. how come i havent heard of this company?
Nice design but would have a bigger tv and a couch instead of 2 chairs and I have seen other tiny houses where they are cramped with a lot of drawers and stuff this is nice and open but just not as practical since there would not be enough areas to keep things if you own a lot of stuff
Overall the best floor plan I've seen. Yet I'm still wondering why is the bathroom always by the kitchen?
+Annmarie Smith Thank you! And to answer your question, the bathroom is often placed next to the kitchen to make good use of plumbing and to eliminate the need for a separate faucet in the bathroom when you have the kitchen faucet right next door. Both of which reduce costs, and space and materials efficiency. However, some people would rather have a separate bathroom faucet, which is totally doable if requested. We also try to keep all plumbing within the walls of a tiny house to help prevent pipes from freezing in the winter. If the bathroom and kitchen plumbing are placed farther away from one another, this is harder to accomplish, although usually still doable. Hope this helps! Happy New Year!
+Valley View Tiny House Company
Thanks. I was concerned about bathroom odor and the kitchen being beside it. Still the best plan I've seen.
+Annmarie Smith Perhaps because other's do-do doesn't stink.
+Annmarie Smith hi
Hi how did I get this message
They should have bump up roofs for when you get it to it's destination. They all look like large coffins upstairs. It's so ridiculous.
Pedro Vargas
reminds me of mine craft
Such space that could be used with shelving or some kind of cabnets. Wasted wasted wasted. Could be such more. it's cute, but why bother when there's more out there & so much more available storage.
Wheres the BED?????
The loft is where you put the bed
sandmanmod24 You need to explain the concept of a loft to her, I am thinking... :/
lemurian chick I know what a lopft is I'm not stupid duh
Irene Nawej LOPFT? LOL
God get over yourself I tiny mistake I ment loft gees people these days
only two things wrong with this house ladder and height in loft
Beautiful house on the outside! But It's such a disappointment seeing a barely lived in unpractical tiny house. There are no clothes no bed, no guest bed or practical sitting room for more than two people, lack of pots and pans and storage spaces, and I don't think that waste of space closet counted as storage. Most people view these videos to see how practical the houses are, not how luxurious they are. So it would have been nice to see it lived in.. The whole reason these houses are built is to be "smart" and creative. Having storage stairs where you can put a washer/dryer and shoes and clothes, and having a day bed as a couch and guest bed, and a sink in the bathroom (instead of wasting space for a closet) so people don't touch a lot of kitchen things with dirty hands. etc. but hey it's decent.
How about a well thought out tiny house community? Very low impact on the natural environment. All of them elevated with trees would look like a community of tree houses with cable bridges. Have everyone park in a well protected separate parking lot. Bicycles and golf carts only at the houses. I can see it.
But how much does it weigh? Over 10000 pounds and you're looking at a class A license :0
9,540 lb.
Is one of the nicest ones I've seen a little pricey but you have a business to run and mouths to feed and you're not a philanthropist people need to understand a little bit. they also need to realize if they want this for cheap I need to get an unfinished and do it themselves and not be so critical. if they did it every day like you it would look like this that's what you pay for
+Nathan Pieper Trouble is, there are ones less expensive without the fancier kitchen appliances and finishes for like barely half the amount. But if you have the money, these look really nice. No doubt! I think the trouble for people is a downpayment for a home is less. So, they might find it more accessible to finance a place and afford payments more. Even though that is not desired. Can one finance these at 4% rate?
Bad job sed mom
where does the poo poo go?
Buff82yrOldMan In the toilet, Einstein.
lemurian chick aint no toilt bitch
Buff82yrOldMan Well aren't you the gentleman! Didn't your mama teach you better manners than to call a woman such a name? Even if you disagree with her? Sheesh.
lemurian chick I dun learnt that women best obey tha menz... female u best bow down...slave gurrl ... LOOLLZ
Buff82yrOldMan Well, at least on the Internets you can pretend that, Cletus.
Why Americans use so much wood in their houses? it's so dangerous, so fragile, I little spark or strong wind and you lose everything.
Prob becuz wood is cheaper than harder materials like steel,Cement,Bricks
+BlueZ_ Waglington That's a good reason, but wood is too fragile, too dangerous, in case of fire, hurricanes, short circuits, humidity...
Those are very good reasons but maybe wood just is more reliable to then and it is to save money
Again,I'm no American,I'm an irish man
So I don't really know the reason
+BlueZ_ Waglington I'm Argentinian, so I don't know the real reason either. Here in my country we build all with bricks and concrete.
+Fabian Z same here,Only houses beside the sea are wooden in my country
