Congratulations on 60,000 at this rate you should reach 100,000 in August. Yes definitely Tyranny, but I'm not sure about the horse with a very distinctive blaze, the picture I have of Majesty he has no facial markings. Thanks for the video.

The buildings and their architectural detail look so pristine it is hard to believe they were built many years ago. Love the columns with the male figurines carved at the top.
Afternoon John , what is wrong with tourists thinking they can do whatever they want. You can't respect the country you're visiting the guards and armed police have the last say.
@@masonyoutube7347 The building the professionals soldiers on horseback , the Gatesman/woman and Chitsman/woman are guarding the ceremonial entrance to Buckingham Palace. The stable area is part of the barracks which is manned 24 hours 7 days a week. It is MOD property also guarded by MOD police.
They could close the yard, as far as I know is private or MOD land.
You may think it's nothing but all Horse Guard complex of buildings used by the Government. So it's not nothing.

Very true. I’m just barely a senior but walking is a struggle due to arthritis ☹️. So yes, walking in London to see the gorgeous horses is a treat ❤❤
I also have mobility issues due to a broken hip. I love seeing the sights of London.
I took have os5teoarthritis and walking & standing is a problem. Have been to London twice but never knew about the horse guard. Can't see me back to London. Really enjoy John's videos. Thank you for your hard work and patter.

Virbius on the left and Q10, then Ypres on the left and Tyranny. With 12-15 horses on each guard it’s a shame we only get horsey time with 4-6 of them. So many we don’t get to meet ☹️ Congratulations on 60k!

A lot of the people are non English speaking so they don't understand.

I really enjoyed the walk , as you say superb architecture around and the colours are stunning everything a beautiful green in the sunlight . You have an eye for the beauty around you and share it with us . A tour guide ? Yes why not , though some might not understand your humour " free bread and cheese " 😂😂😂. The incident with the little boy ( I am careful with my words 😋.) He picked the wrong Trooper in the " Karen slayer " she rightly refused to give him the attention he wanted but once he started the name calling you see her carry the sword ! Pity she wasn't on Ormonde that would have been interesting 😂😂😂. Buska was Buska , takes no prisoners , some comments say he was wrong but the majority support him ! MOD officers , brilliant , while he argued they slapped the cuffs on 😁. Now let's hear from those who insist they do nothing just stand talking ! Thanks John , have a great evening xxx

The chap on the monument is Frederick Duke of York & Albany; so the Duke of York Monument is the column you walked past. I believe the 'Admiralty Citadel' is MARCOMM COMCEN (St Vincent) and it is still used by the Ministry of Defence. I believe the climbing plant is a type of Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia), not Ivy.
It is a Virginia Creeper it looks glorious in the Autumn. @peacfulpleb thank you for the info on the Fortress name and about the Duke of York statue.

Afternoon John I lived in Newquay from 1961 until 1963 I worked at the Red Lion Hotel and at the local riding stables plus one of the hotels on the front..many great memories Cornwall is beautiful and rugged ❤
So nice to see London and the buildings I was born south east London and passed house guard every day to go to work in Piccadilly. But never went to see the guards so thanks for showing the filming John

Hi John. The monument you couldn’t name at the beginning of the video is Nelson’s Column. That’s why that ice cream van is named Nelson’s Ice’s and it is actually licensed to vend on the streets of Westminster (as it can be seen saying so on the side of the van) but it is almost permanently at that position as it has exclusive use.
They’re paying all their taxes and perfectly legal. 🙂

I was on Facebook/Meta and a popup appeared and I thought..Wow I didn't know John had London City Walks on here.I checked it out and I'm 100% sure its not your page.Alot of misspelled words and then it says women run.There is alot of your footage on that page that this person has hijacked.Also this person keeps changing the name from London City Walks (British Calvary)-- London City Walks(UK) and also Kings Guards London.This person adds London City Walks Reels which like Ive stated is your name and your videos.
