is this the venue in camden? first frame of stage and i got a flashback to a show seen in the jazz club, camden - al di meola - in 2007, but i didn't know the venue was owned by ronnie scott's. behind the plastic screen on the right: dj equipment for dance floor? still remember corea's night streets playing pre-gig. but instead i should be turning into what i'm hearing: minuano. surprised can fit so many onto what i thought was very small stage.
@@monsterjazzlicks I've played it in a big band before and I noticed it sounding different too. I think it may be written the same but the intonation of how they play the rhythm may be what's making it sound different. If you count in three they seem to be carrying a heavy accent on the one.
What a great concert! Nice to revisit. I watched this live; A good memory from a period of time that didn't have many.
Watched the whole show from Canada. An unconditional PM fan. Thanks so much. You guys are great!!
Are We There Yet. Great version. Nice alto sax solo. I hear shades of David Sanborn there.
thanks :) ruclips.net/user/aaronliddard

No - you are likely thinking of the Jazz cafe in Campden, Ronnie's is in Soho
I think you should show all the arranger´s names of every song in the same way you do with the members of the big band, it´s fair!
I have played Minuedo chart a few times and I am sure that the opening section of the piece was quite different to this particular version?
It's an ARRANGEMENT, bro. The original PMG lineup didn't have no fuckin brass. Holy shyte....
@@J3unG Dreadful language and poor grammar. And I am not related to you in any form.
