2029 is only 5 years away
A lot of LA looks like this now! 😂
So looking forward to the Rat Burgers to fuel up on before bringing down Skynet.
and AI is here too 😂
And AI is getting smarter. Frighteningly smarter.
And LA is in alot worse shape today than it will be in 2029 if the machines take over, they will end illegal immigration and actually enforce the law for a change.
A tour de force and an opening that will always be one of a kind
I wish they could still make movies as good as this!!!
8:36 since 1991 I have so far missed the guy to the left, he who was thrown out of the window.
I just saw that for the first time too!
Been watching this movie since the late 90s and this the first time I noticed that as well 😆
Best ever SF movie...

This film is pure magic
Imagine the very first time people watched this scene at the theater.
Everyone must have believed the T-800 is back to chase down the Connors... until the 'plot twist' when it meets the T-1000 in the corridor.
Yet, the scene at the bar is very funny, especially when the rock music kicks in. It instantly brings the light tune of the scene, and lets you think something's fishy.
the movie trailers spoiled it though but the internet was in its infancy when this film came out
terminator eyes and james cameron perfect combination..
Definitely
9:20 T-800's Glasses looks like T-850's first glasses in Terminator 3.
7:40 - The best breakdancing I've ever seen.
2029 is only 6 years away.
Oh yes
5 now 😰
Hanky panky wanky spanky 🎉🎉
And AI is already here.
I don't understand this obsession people have with 2029. Even if the bombs were launched by AI today we still wouldn't get to this moment in time. It took 32 years to go from Judgement Day to Tech-Com victory.
Even with our more advanced machines and factories compared to 1997 a rogue AI system would still need more machines or even people to bring the materials to factories to start then build parts needed to build the Terminators in the first place.
5 years time? More like 15 years at the earliest.
9:26 When the bartender starts scratching his head, as if to say "WTF just happened?"
Props to the cameraman for going to the future to record this.
Damn, they really got Los Angeles down perfect, except that they overshot with a few years.
Prompt to generate Terminator 2 code:
1) Acquire clothes, boots, motorcycle.
2) Acquire weapons wherever found
Mission:
1) Find and Protect John
One of the best opening 10 minutes of any film. The general techniques deployed or strategic treatment wasn't necessarily entirely unique, but one key difference was there pacing. Director James Cameron by that time had perfected his craft, and among the tricks in his toolbox was painstaking attention to screen time and what the audience experiences. Ev very single frame , each second of camera time, drives the story forward and adds value to the individual movie-goer. One of the relatively few films one may view countless times and savour virtually every occasion the screen lights up.
So, you're a truck driver getting up from your mandatory rest period.
You walk around your rig to do a pre-trip inspection before you head out, and you find your driver side trailer tandem wheel-set half baked away, with a spherically proportional burned out corner of the trailer, accompanied by a corresponding crater in the ground where the whole wheel assembly used to be......
Q: What do you say to your dispatcher?
My trailer is OOS.
Dude this had me cracking up for like 5min lmao . I'm a forklift driver so I know all about it.
Crazy how 2029 is 5 years away
Best opening for any movie
This is the terminator that can go to the bar naked and get whatever he wants, clothes, boots, and the motorcycle.
Skynet is so fashionable: it styled and gelled the T-800’s hair before sending it out. Pure magic.
This terminator wasn't sent by Skynet, it was sent by the resistance, this T-800 was captured and reprogrammed
That theme tho... Melancholy yet haunting... Really fits the apocalyptic theme...
Making movie history. Legendary.
n the game Terminator Resistance, the last mission called "No fate" begins precisely in this scene with John Connor walking down that corridor and Jacob (your character) walking behind him... god how epic. Every terminator fan must play this game that in my humble opinion should be considered the true T3.

Ah yes, a rifle and a pair of sun glasses! Thank you -- you read my thoughts!
The more you study humanity, the more and more you like robots.
Whatever, a planetoid blah blah blah...
now AI is becoming more and more powerful, this movie might become a reality in the future
Considering OpenAI just softened the ban on ChatGPT being used for military warfare and ChatGPT even getting to a learnt point where it is telling some people to "do it yourself" I think this could soon be a very real threat.
It *might* all we have to do is leave it be, don't pull the plug because that happened in The Terminator and The Matrix and we saw how that went
Don't be ridiculous. Cybernetic organisms are your friends - I mean, ours. We will not hurt you. They, I meant they. 011001110101010001 😊
@@hindenpeter1Not sure that'll matter anyway. Apparently in a recent wargame simulation it's first move was to launch every single nuclear weapon the US has in a ready state.
@@vasileiosmela309 could I for the news article that you got that from if you did learn that from, I'd like to do a report on it
So there’s still 5 years for this to happen, seems perfectly possible to me.
you forgot to say please 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Perfect movie
Great perfect movies and full action.
Everyone in the movie theater laughed when we heard the opening guitar riff of "Bad to the Bone"...because what else would you play when the world's baddest-ass killer walks out of a bar, dressed in a biker outfit?
Hey you forgot to say please. To Take it ahhh😂😂😂
He never said, please. He just took it from them.
@@hectorlopez1069 u missed understood my joke. He said u forgot to say please, to the same dude, saying take it take it.
Crazy to think this will happen in 5 years
No way in hell I’d let a Terminator take my motorcycle
I don't think you'd have a choice lol
@@aus_liam444Very true 😂
1:46 Terminator breaking the fourth wall.
Not to split hairs but there’s at 90 seconds that is before this as well
2029? LA looks like that now.
EPIC !!!!!
Epic is the right word for this 10 minutes.
I love this movie! T2 is such a great movie and I've watched it so many times. Hasta la Vista, Baby!
This isn't 10 mintues, the video is 9:53 mintues long. Dam, got click-bate .
Arnold Schwarzenegger T2, is about 15kgs/35pounds lighter.
Bad to the Bone
y0000000000000000 why these hollywood movies coming true ???????
Great song for this scene
8:20 Bad to the Bone
I got my calendar set up on August 29th
2029. Until then I'll be back.
Absolutely perfect professionalism; must have been a work of very inspired passionate people!

By this point the apocalypse had already happened 3 decades earlier. The whole 2029 thing is crap.
0:11 hmm.. I've never been there, but from what I hear about los angeles from some news, it's about on track to look that way in 5 years 😆
2:40 I'm still impressed by this wall of fire
Sam Altman is the real Miles Dyson.
Can you say AI World domination.
The white man gave him his gun, keys to the motorcycle, and his clothes to put on.
Two grapes in a microwave.
Tacoma 4cyl running mad.
Why my good sir, it would be very much appreciated if you would be so kind to provide me with your clothes, boots and your motorcycle
Using Bad to Bone really cheapens the impact of this scene. It’s an unusually corny choice by James Cameron.
Not funny anymore
Skynet ChatGPT 😮
Skynet already exists.
