I bought a 69 mustang coupe yesterday for $5800. Running, clean title, brand new upholstery and dash and carpet, decent paint. So now binge on mustang videos
She got a great deal. I used to have a '69 Mach I with a 351 Windsor, and an automatic transmission but mine didn't look anything like this one. 69-70 Mustangs were the best-looking Mustangs that Ford made in my opinion.
Back in the Good Old Days I bought a brand new 69 Candy Apple Red 351 4bbl 3.50 traction lock rear, 3 speed stick, high back seats, fold down rear seat, console. fast back Mustang for $2,800. Back then they all took a licking( Chevelle 396, Road Runner 383, Chargers, GTO. Vette 327 etc,) for 100,000+ miles with no major component failures. Weight around 2,900 pounds. Cost about $1.00 per pound of vehicle weight. Added Adco rear sway bar and radial tires, 235x 15 rear, 215 x 14 front. Today the state sales taxes on new vehicles are more than we paid in the 1960's for muscle cars.
its def a beautiful car but i love my 67 shelby gt 350 too!!!! metallic dark blue with grey strips down the entire middle of the car. LOVE it......but i love all cars too!!!
Man this is unbelievable! All I can do is shake my head, that's after I pick my jaw up off the floor. Wonder she realizes just how lucky she really is. This is a once in a lifetime deal.
100%. We couldn't believe it either. I guess the guy needed some quick money and wasn't really into cars and didnt feel like messing with it or having it fixed. She had the carb and stuff fixed up and it runs pretty damn good now.
Got a 70 Mach in the same condition, engine compartment a little better on mine. Absolutely no chance she paid 15K for that 69. Yeah maybe it was her Dad's car or something, there's more to this story.....
My first car at 16! 👍👍Bought it for 1800.00 with less than 20k on it! 351 Windsor, 3 speed, white interior with jade green exterior. Custom painted scoop and rear taillight section. Engine and wheel wells custom painted. Couldn’t afford to store it and keep it as I was in school and college payments!
I have a 1969 ford mustang Mach 1 and I bought it for 14,500$. Has original engine was in primer and the guy said he would keep giving me spare parts until I was finished with the car. Clean title too. I think I got a steal.
In '79 when I turned 16, I paid $650 for my '69 Mach 1 351W auto. It had over 100k miles on it but it was solid and fast! Wish it was all dolled up like this one and in my garage. If I only knew then what they'd be worth now!
Wow... I like the upgrades. I hope hope hope a little more is put into the radio area. The dash is nice. I believe the original woodgrain interior was replaced with the vinyl as well. Beautiful car.
Custom audio sound makes retro looking digital replacement that work good, sound quality isn’t 100% but works. Good grain was always vinyl on the doors.
WOW you are right ! Next time you show us something like this please include the door tag, which on a 69 will tell us if it was born just a sportsroof or Mach 1. This car was trimmed like a Mach but did not say Mach 1 over the clove box. Just Mustang? Starting 1970 Mach1s got an 05 in the Vin to let us know its a Mach1 . Beautiful Car, Lots of nice custom touches. And its a stick car ! What a steel of a deal !
Thanks for the info. I dont know a tine of "historic" data type stuff. Honestly just blown away that a nice car like that would show up to my tiny cars and coffee meet up!!
I wish I can ask the original owner questions that paint job alone is around 15k not original seats I wonder where he got them from they look really comfortable 😍
Not 80 but it appears to be a decent car . Without seeing it up close its tough to tell if its a pig in a poke or not. All you young bucks beware of "Deals" like this . Ive seen a ton of Mustangs over the years that were nice and shiny just like this one but were just slapped together flippers. People are over paying for these cars and most have no idea what they are looking at so thats why they exist. Really need to see the floors and torque boxes in this thing and inside the trunk to see how good of a deal she got. Its very possibly the car needs 30K worth of work to be a solid car believe it or not.... One tell tale sign of issues is that rear valance not fitting up right.... Alot of times that means the quarter is full of filler right there where it attaches . You have to really really go over these things before you buy them and often times you are way ahead of the game buying a basket case because it can literally need the same work.
I can try to find out next time i see it at a show or something. I believe its and original with some restomod stuff. Some guy had it built and probly got divorced and just got rid of it cheap or something.
R YOU DICKIN ME WALTER SHE PAID 15GRAND FOR IT THAT'S WORTH WELL AROUND 40, THOUSAND GIVE OR TAKE DEPENDS ON HOW THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS WHAT ELSE IS UP GRADED ABOUT THIS GOUGOUS 69 FASTBACK YES IT BEAUTIFUL
@@MachTucker737 That appears to be Black Jade. And yes, I have seen slight variations in color as well. Looks awesome at night and day. Can’t go wrong.

I have a 69 mercury cougar thinking of upgrading my wood interior to this 🙌
maybe should have obscured the Mustang's License Plate.
Love the '69 Mach 1, the paint job looks great.
Thanks for sharing this.
She May have told the dmv that lol
Either way the value would be pretty low.
Vey nice!!!!!!! Love it!
All you need now is a rear spoiler to top it off👍🏼 very nice

I payed $16000 for my 69 Fastback 4 years ago and it was a 6cyl car. Thats a hell of a deal for that one.
They have V6 mustangs back then?
250 cubic inch Inline 6 cylinder engine.
I wish I can ask the original owner questions that paint job alone is around 15k not original seats I wonder where he got them from they look really comfortable 😍
In 1985 l paid $200 for my 69 coupe, 351w 4v , can't believe what this stuff goes for now, Yes, I still have it
Where the heck are y’all finding cheap 69 fastbacks?!?!
Especially in good condition. Usually all need a full resto
absolutely no way she paid 16k for that car. nope....she's pulling legs. lol
I just sold my 67 convertible restomod for 87. And would have traded for that one.
I just paid $77K for mine!!! But it's a Gt-500 Convertible. (needs restoring)
I had to short sale mine for 10k lost my house in a fire and needed cash for the family. One day I will have another one god willing….
That sucks. Hope you get to grab up another one.
$15k from her ex husband because the Judge made him sell it to her😂

need to top it off with a rear spoiler .. and make it a shaker hood car ... i had an rcode 40 years ago ..
The owner wanted her to have the car. They figure she would never sale it. Unless they needed some fast cash
I paid 1,700 all original sat for 24 years in a barn 2 miles from my house
Is that an original 69 Mustang or is it fastback conversion? What the vin# say about it?

Is that a stock colour?
I bought my 69 Mach 1 almost 1 year ago, the price was $18k
See the car in my channel.
Where did you find it, I’m looking for one as well
@@JJ-gr7th Here in Denmark :- )
15k?…. More like 115k
Did the car fly away or something a drive of would have made your video
Yeah that would have been awesome.
someone probably inherited it and sold it for without getting it appraised
Just bought mine for $17,000
I just bought a blue one for 24,000
15k for the barn find. 😂
If it sounds to good to be true...
I’d pay 15k in a second

Sweet 69! Love that Black Jade paint. I have the same car. 9R05Mxxxx code
Is it black jade? I'm thinking of this color for my 69. How come they all look different? What is it supposed to look like?
