I just finished my first tempo treadle project. LOVE IT! I agree with my constantly having to look at a piece of paper sooooo fantastic. It makes weaving a pleasure instead of stressful. Also, there is a learning curve. I'm thrilled with mine. I'm glad you're happy too. PS, I get my "ok" beep when i lift the harnesses.
I adore my tempo treadle! It’s a game changer with patterns that have a really involved, long treadling repeat. And as for the beep, I have the same issue.
The documentation says that for your loom, under "Loom Action" config, it should be set to Action: Single and Position: Up. It sounds like your position setting may be set to Down.
I must admit. The magnets were in a different place to what i remember. As a result i remember them being at the hinge more and it worked when the magnet was released. But that may have been an early effort though
