This will be very interesting! I hope you can take us through some of the steps with you. Hopefully you are going to take a few pics along the way so you can create a slideshow for us :) :) So glad for you to be able to get this!....although I'm not sure if I won't be missing the clipboard technique of yours lol.
A lot of the Lofty Fiber tools are partially or fully 3D printer printed. They are designed by Dawn’s business partner. Also a techie. And for the array, I suspect they print them to order.
This will be interesting I have been looking at this for my loom, but i am concerned because I would need to import to the uk about cost import duty and then support
I thought about getting one. But i because the spring treddles dont move i didnt have a big issue. For my glimakra however i am reconsidering as the treddles wander like a drunk
I agree about Glimaakra treadles wandering all over the place, I took that one week Glimaakra class 10 years ago, after being comfortable with my Louet, and I just didn't like the feel of those treadles. I checked the LoftyFiber web site, and I don't see that the tempotreadle is avail for Glimaakras. If memory serves, the Glimaakra treadles never touch the floor, so there would not be a good place to put the magnetic array that tempotreadle uses to detect the treadle. You might want to ask Dawne or Barry at LF.
@@curmudgeon66 i believe they do do the like the spring ones where its when the magnets part rather than touch. But at the same time.... id not need it if the treddles didnt wander like 6-8" (or at least it feels that much)
love to see all the tech available for looms. I'm excited to watch more of this!
I am just now weaving my first tempo weave project . You are going to LOVE it. And the support Dawne gives is terrific. Have fun!

Congrats on the new tempo treadle. Can't wait to see it in action. Won't work on my loom as it's not a common brand but love to see the tech!
Looking forward to the next one 😊
Although this type of technology is not something I would weave with I enjoy learning about it 🙂
