    Nothing beats nattos for K2 & nattokinase. I didn't always like nattos, but trained myself to like it for the benefits. I love siracha hot chilli garlic sauce. I use it on natto & add some chopped raw onions.

    Is the calcium I supplement with the same calcium that builds up in the arteries?

    • @Dubai-Used-Trucks

      Yes more dangerous calcium supplements without doctor prescription.

    • @HeartDiseaseCode
      @HeartDiseaseCode  2 месяца назад

      No, the calcium in supplements is not the same as the calcium that builds up in arteries. Arterial calcium is part of plaque that forms in arteries, while supplement calcium supports bone health and other bodily functions. Always consult with a healthcare professional before taking supplements. 💊

    I have BIG question. I currently hae a CAC score of nearly 1000 and 4 narrowed arteries including the LAD. My question is; the goal with arterial plaque is to stabalise soft plaque within the arteries. One of these processes is the calcification of this soft/dangerous plaque. If we suppress this process then we are not calcifying the dangerous internal plaque in our arteries. Do people in my position want to suppress this process?. I’d rather it turns into a safer calcified lesion than stays as it is.? Anyone with a genuine understanding that can answer this question please do reply. I’ve spent months researching this but am still unsure. Thank You 🙏

    • @HeartDiseaseCode

      It's best to consult with a cardiologist to get a clear and personalized answer to your question. Stabilizing soft plaque is indeed a goal, but the management approach can vary based on individual health conditions. Your specialist can provide guidance tailored to your situation. Stay informed and proactive in your care.

      @@SET12DSP well done. The only thing that really concerns me is calcification stabilises soft dangerous plaques. If we mess with that process aren’t we putting ourselves at higher risk ? Wouldn’t it be a good idea to let the process follow its natural course at least for a few years and then try and reverse it once the soft plaque has gone ?

    Why are women limited to 1 drink while men can have 2? What makes the difference.
    Many places say women should only have 1 drink a day. No one says why. Gender alone is not sufficient reason.
    I am in my mid-70s. I am also taller than many men. And I weigh more than some men.

      Just Googled it and apparently it isn't anything to do with bodily size difference. It is how men and women are physiologically different and process alcohol itself.
      Edit: l used to have a connection to the wine industry so drinking more than general was the norm - a prerequisite 😅
      If a person has healthy habits and eats little to no junk food etc then the general alcohol limit recommendation can be flexible - just don't do it every day😅4 times a week and 3 clean days
