Curling of the pepper plants may be an insect sucking the plant juices. I have sumilar problem on a few of my plants including pepper.

There is so much new growth!! One of my pepper plants also has curly/distorted leaves, specifically the new leaves that have grown ever since I planted it into my 5 gallon pot. My suspicion was that I put too much compost in the soil, but who knows!!

I actually thought about that too! It started happening when I added extra compost that after I did that big compost pick up from the city. They look better today after the rain, so I think they will recover?

I have the same problem with my pepper plants...some curling in my garden beds not sure what it could be...l don't see any bugs 😕
