When I plant inside I put newspaper on the counter. then I bundle up the paper and soil and put in my compost. Newspaper is perfect for compost. If you don't get a newspaper. (You are young) pick up some free papers you may find find

Yes! But parsley is a biannual and will go to seed in the next year
