Our family will never forget running into you at Target 😂 thank you for being so kind & willing to take a photo with us! It was a great way for us to kick off our first visit to Aulani! Mahalo 🤙🏽
Kitra, Mom was definitely there enjoying the beautiful view and seeing her daughter on her adventure! 💜 A great start to your 300K Hawaiian celebration!👍
Aw, I’m so sorry about missing your mom Kitra. Losing family members is really hard. Those moments like you had at dinner are so special because with these people gone, these are some of the only ways we have left to feel them and feel connected to them. I’m glad you were able to feel touched by your mom on your trip. Thanks for sharing :)
Congrats on 300k 🎉 perfect way to celebrate! Great view at the fancy place! How amazing they played your Moms song, a total sign for sure! I lost my Mom over 8 years ago and always love little signs like that! Hugs! ❤
I am so happy you two got to go back to Hawaii. I am sure your mom would be soooo happy for you too. Thanks for sharing another not so ordinary adventure. ❤
I grew up on Oahu. Zippy's is a major local restaurant chain frequented by locals. They are best known for their chili and plate lunches. You may also want to visit L&L Hawaiian BBQ. Their chicken katsu and macaroni salad is pretty good.
So much love to you Kitra on your Mom's anniversary. I know I am very late to this video and I hope posting doesn't cause any distress but wanted to send v sincere sympathy and kindness and appreciation for including us in your journey xx
Here's a hug for you Kitra. 🤗 I know how you feel missing your mom as mine has also passed. My mom loved hummingbirds and it's amazing how many I've seen everywhere since her passing. ❤
Sending you both so much love, but especially you Kitra. Feel all the feels ♥ I'm just glad that your Mom knew about (and loved) this channel, and that she knows you get to continue to go on these adventures and share it with your community. Now she continues to follow your adventures as you carry her with you in your heart.
@@OrdinaryAdventures I visit my bro near Orlando once or twice a year and always go to Uni, especially for HHN. Hope to meet you guys one time! Take care!
We visited Aulani at the end of 2021 because of your videos. After this series we might have to go back 😅 Congrats on 300k, happy bday Peter, and sending lots of love to Kitra! ❤
My eyes teared up when you walked onto the balcony showing the view of the Waikolohe Valley and the ocean. I miss Hawai’i and Aulani so much!! 🥹 I am definitely adding Honolulu Kitchen onto my list of eats for O’ahu! Those are ‘ono looking manapua! 😋 And mahalo for the dinner review of ‘Ama’Ama! The menu has definitely been upgraded, and I hope it’s still that way when we can make it to Aulani again! The he’e with risotto, venison tartare, pork belly, and desserts look absolutely delish! 🤤
Yes, Honolulu Kitchen! Haven't been in years, but definitely a great local spot. Impressed with Peter finding it! I've never tried the sweet deep fried manapua, only the savory ones, but now I gotta try those next time I'm on Oahu.
Kitra you aren’t the only one who lost it sweetheart! We played that version of Somewhere over The Rainbow at my moms funeral and I instantly started to cry. You aren’t alone!
Ama Ama looks amazing! I went a few times prior to the update and it looks much more amazing. When my husband and I were there in 2021 we stopped by makihiki for breakfast during our stay. We sat in the patio and after we got our drinks we were just talking and enjoying the atmosphere. Suddenly there was a child screaming, then a lady. The cast members quickly gathered, then the manager. Tables were quickly moved but the child kept crying. Turns out the kid and lady witnessed a mongoose attacking, killing, and attempting to get away with a pigeon 😂
Omg I used to work for United Airlines for almost 17yrs and have been to Oahu 5 times. It was always so relaxing for me. I so enjoyed your video. Thanks for the reminder of Hawaii ❣️
Wow, I admire you, Kitra, for trying the octopus. (When I heard, “It tastes like chicken…” I almost did a spit take😂) I think it's because of how it was prepared that you gave it such a high rating, but normally octopus is plain and extremely chewy, and i NEVER eat it at gatherings because I know it's expensive and there are family members who love it and can appreciate eating it. Thanks for bringing us along to your fancy dinner!
This AMA AMA restaurant looks amazing! what a beautiful setting as well. Kitra's angel of a mom was 100% there, watching over you both with the song and the beautiful sunset! 5 Peters and 5 Kitras for you both stepping out of your comfort zone food wise!!! loved this video!!!!
I love as a 40 yo man i can watch your vids and it brings me back to that excitement of being a kid and being so stoked to experience trips like ya'll take. Been binge watching all your stuff for dang near 3 days now. Lol. Thanks😁😄😂
Omg im only half way through your video but man this place looks amazing! I didn’t even realize there’s Disney resort’s or hotels in hawaii! ❤ ty for taking us on your special vacation. So glad y’all made it back to Hawaii and Aulani! That place is amazing. We were there a year ago this week celebrating our anniversary and we miss it every day. Can’t wait to see this series of videos. Hugs to you Kitra after the one year since losing your mom.. my mom passed last year as well and sometimes it just does hit you.. I’m glad to see you were happy and enjoying yourself.. I’m sure your mom was right there with you😊
You two are the cutest couple ever. I woke up very early watched your video and had a cup of coffee. Thank you for giving me an amazing start to my day. Have a wonderful vacation.
Congrats on the increased subs, well deserved! I watched your last Oahu series before my family went to Aulani in early 2021. Even with some closures and masking, it was the best time. Thanks to your pro tips, we tried Leonard’s and a couple of other places that we would not have known about. Favorite trip ever!
I love all your videos, thank you for sharing with us! I lost my dad 2 years ago and constantly get signs from him. Your mom was there with you in Hawaii ❤ Sending lots of hugs your way.
Hugs to you Kitra!! Those anniversary dates are always hard. I lost my mom when I was 23 and that was several years ago. I'm so happy you guys are at Aulani. The song was def a sign from her saying she's so happy for you and proud of your amazing life!! 🥰❤️ And was the Chris like the wonderful and kind Chris Provost?!
30:06..Kitra, I lost my Mom eight years ago on Thanksgiving 2014 and What a Wonderful World was Her favorite song too…I got to sing this one last time for her as we said goodbye and hearing your story made me feel a little closer to her again…thank you…I spent a lot of this video feeling very wistful because, even though it’s been almost six months since we’ve been there, it all came flooding back, and the silliest things (like the Mickey lamp!) brought tears to my eyes, I miss the place so much!❤
So sorry about the passing of your Mom, Kitra. Broke my heart to see you crying. I absolutely love Hawaii. Been there 4 times. I dream about staying at Aulani. So beautiful.
Welcome back to Hawaii! I love watching your videos, because I hardly go Oahu & get to see all the yummy places to eat there! 😋 Have to say, Oahu has Big Island beat on grinds (food). I hope you guys got to try musubi, & definitely encourage you to eat more taro & ube, so good! You guys are so fun to watch! 🤗 Hugs to you both, brought tears to my eyes Kitra, I feel you so much on missing your mom. I lost my mom 12 years ago, still visit places, smell certain smells, see things that bring her immediately to mind & it's like she was just there with me. I hope it's their way of saying they're still here with us in some way.
that song coming on was just your moms way of saying im here with you to celebrate, and im sorry Kitra because its a hard thing. your trip looks like its starting off wonderful and i hope its an amazing time for you guys. thank you for sharing this beautiful adventure, i pray to make it there in next few years.. i want to go so badly.💮🌻🌺🐚🏝 Happy Birthday Peter 🎂
Those manapuas look amazing!!! We miss Hawaii and will definitely be making a stop at Honolulu Kitchen on our next trip. Thanks for always bringing us along on your adventures!
I love the Tarantino style shot from the boot of the car. I half expected Peter to say “We should have brought shotguns” 😜 So pleased you got to go back and thanks for sharing your experience! Congratulations on 300k! 🥳
🎉🎉 Happiest of Birthdays to you Peter!! 🎉🎉 What an AMAZING way to celebrate another year, in beautiful Hawaii! Looking forward to following your Aulani/Oahu vlogs. The AMA AMA dinner looked scrumptious! ❤ Arlene
Kitra, sending you a virtual hug. Somewhere over the Rainbow was one of my moms favorite songs and over six years after she died, still makes me cry. I guess it’s the love we have for them. ❤ Can’t wait to see the rest of your Hawaii vlogs.

I'm currently up to your original Hawaii trip and once again it looks absolutely breathtaking. It's on my bucket list to get here one day. I LOVE tired airport Kitra. I'm exactly the same in trying not to eat before flying. Big hugs to you both with the sad 1 year anniversary xxx

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS MORE AULANI CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watch these over and over again and make me so happy even though I cannot afford to leave my apt lol
We ate at Ama Ama mid October and thought it was great. The food quality, and service was excellent. The wine pairing price was reasonable and the server explained each wine. That ube old fashion was a definite five stars. As far as the price, it is not cheap but for the resort area it is equivalent to the Four Seasons prices next door. We had dinner at Mina’s Fish House next door and spent about the same amount but was less impressive than Ama Ama. We really enjoyed this video and your willingness to try things outside your comfort zone. Thank you.
Honestly, I would probably eat WAY too much food on my first day in Hawaii too. How could you not? You both are doing it right! Looking forward to seeing more of your Hawaiian adventure!
These travel videos of yours are fun to watch I have watched a lot yesterday and look forward to watching more Manapuas look so delicious & yummy hope to try them . you two have one of the best travel videos like this I seen on RUclips so far I have been enjoying a marathon / bringe watching on your videos today love them
Love your Aulani videos! Came across your channel early 2021 when I was planning my family’s vacation to Oahu. So happy I did! So many great tips and booked our stay at Aulani. My daughters favorite pro tip was Leonards malasadas! I will enjoy these videos and dream of the day my family and I get to go back ❤❤
Congratulations on hitting 300K subs! Glad you’re back in Hawai’i again. Your 2020 Aulani vlogs are a,o get my favorites. I’m sure these Vids will be even better. Y’all need to go to Tokyo Disney next!
Thanks guys! We rewatched a bunch of your Oahu videos in prep for this trip. Have you guys ever been to itchy but chicken in Honolulu? You should check it out! Their chicken bowls 🤤
All sunscreen sold in stores in Hawaii are reef safe, non-reef safe sunscreens are now banned from being sold in Hawaii. The animal you saw was a mongoose. There are no “bad views” in Hawaii, however that side of the island is the “less pretty” side IMO. The north and windward side of the island is a waaaay better experience IMO. I live here however my personal opinion is that Hawaii is a great place to visit but not to live. Traffic, stupid high prices, and tourists make Hawaii almost unbearable for me. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I love to travel, and have been all over the world, but I still enjoy watching others travels!
It’s on my bucket list to go to Hawaii. So happy you are sharing your trip with us. Love you Peter and Kitra and hope to meet up with you when you are back home 😊
My wife and I were there from 6 Nov to 11 Nov, and we went to Ama Ama as well. We loved our starter and apps but the entree and dessert were just decent. We had the same foods you did. Aloha spirit! Mahalo for the shared love of Hawai'i!!!
This resort looks so beautiful 😍 * edited* Aww Kitra loosing loved ones is always so hard.. I lost my Grandma roughly 3 years ago and the song Remember Me always makes me think of her. Her favorite song however was the hymn Far Beyond The Sun. So sometimes sunny days make me think of her too.
So awesome that you were able to return to Hawaii 🌴this is definitely in my plans for next summer lol… Congrats on 300k! 🥳 both of you are awesome people and very well deserve it! Oh and btw Happy bday Peter ! 🎉 Can’t wait for the rest of your Hawaii vlogs 🌴
Hope you guys got to try Spam Musubi! Didn’t try them when we were there in May (We’ll be back briefly in 2024 at the beginning and the end of a bucket list adventure to New Zealand and Australia…with an 18 night Transpacific cruise bringing us back to Honolulu!)…however, we were actually able to try them at an L&L Hawaiian BBQ in San Diego and they’re Fantastic!
If you're ever on Oahu again, I highly recommend visiting Hanauma Bay State Park. It is is a sheltered bay with some of the best coral reefs outside of Kauai and the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. There's a high diversity of fish and invertebrates, good corals, and it's gentle sloping shores make it and ideal spot for snorkelers and divers of all experience levels. There is an entry fee of $25.00, and you have to reserve those tickets, but you get to spend as long as you want once you're in. Hanauma Bay State Park is closed Monday and Tuesday, to give the full-time residents (as in the fish and corals) a well-needed break from the hustle and bustle of tourist activity. Definitely one of the best snorkeling/swimming spots on all of Oahu for sure, and definitely worth the price of admission.
Our family will never forget running into you at Target 😂 thank you for being so kind & willing to take a photo with us! It was a great way for us to kick off our first visit to Aulani! Mahalo 🤙🏽

Love your Aulani videos! Came across your channel early 2021 when I was planning my family’s vacation to Oahu. So happy I did! So many great tips and booked our stay at Aulani. My daughters favorite pro tip was Leonards malasadas! I will enjoy these videos and dream of the day my family and I get to go back ❤❤
🙌 we miss it already
Congratulations on hitting 300K subs! Glad you’re back in Hawai’i again. Your 2020 Aulani vlogs are a,o get my favorites. I’m sure these Vids will be even better. Y’all need to go to Tokyo Disney next!
That silhouette shot tho!!! 😍
😁
@@OrdinaryAdventures I love y’all, goals asf!!!!
Congratulations guys on hitting 300K! Thanks for the Ama Ama review, we'll be heading to the Aulani in a few weeks, so this was helpful.
Thanks guys! We rewatched a bunch of your Oahu videos in prep for this trip. Have you guys ever been to itchy but chicken in Honolulu? You should check it out! Their chicken bowls 🤤
@@OrdinaryAdventures Itchy Butt, we have! Great little hidden gem and we remember their chicken served piping hot! lol
Congratulations on 300k! You guys deserve it!
Thanks ☺️
Didn’t know that about the sunscreen. Interesting
It’s on my bucket list to go to Hawaii. So happy you are sharing your trip with us. Love you Peter and Kitra and hope to meet up with you when you are back home 😊
Love the new video! 💖🌅🌊🌴🌺✨ thank you for taking us with you to Hawaii!
My wife and I were there from 6 Nov to 11 Nov, and we went to Ama Ama as well. We loved our starter and apps but the entree and dessert were just decent. We had the same foods you did.
Aloha spirit! Mahalo for the shared love of Hawai'i!!!
Haha we were opposite
This resort looks so beautiful 😍 * edited*
Aww Kitra loosing loved ones is always so hard.. I lost my Grandma roughly 3 years ago and the song Remember Me always makes me think of her. Her favorite song however was the hymn Far Beyond The Sun. So sometimes sunny days make me think of her too.
❤️
"It's because there's cheese! Holy Cow!" 😄 20:30
😂
So glad you’re back! Can’t wait for more vlogs!
🙌
I dunno why it surprises me Kitra would know Biggie.
Congratulations on 300k dudes.
Haha thanks
Happy to see you folks back in Hawaii
🏝️
So awesome that you were able to return to Hawaii 🌴this is definitely in my plans for next summer lol… Congrats on 300k! 🥳 both of you are awesome people and very well deserve it! Oh and btw Happy bday Peter ! 🎉 Can’t wait for the rest of your Hawaii vlogs 🌴
Thanks so much! Next video should be early this next week!
We do try a spam Musubi later in the trip. The video is coming eventually
Watching the previous Hawaii trip was how I felt in love with this channel.. Congrats on 300k!
❤️ thank you
Grats on 300k. Love you guys
Thanks
We went to hanauma bay on this trip and it was fantastic. The video will be coming eventually
