Always Pre-Burn the Stove Before Use

Prior to using your tent sauna stove in the sauna, you will need to burn off any oils from the manufacturing process. Set up the stove and burn a very hot fire in it until it stops smoking from the outside. Then it is ready for use inside your sauna tent!

If it’s burning off chemicals, why do it in the sauna tent?

We have done it in the tent and outside and one issue we ran into when doing it outside is that the outermost portions of the stove wouldn't get hot enough to burn everything off. Inside the tent everything gets much hotter and ensures it all gets burned cleanly away.
Leaving the doors open partially allows all of the smoke to ventilate away and it remain clean inside once completed.

Do these tents need to be taken down or is there an all-weather cover?

There is an all weather cover but the sauna tents are designed to be quickly taken down and put away when there is severe weather.
