Very cool review my internet pal. I was just telling my wife that I would like to have a sauna at the house but would have no idea how to build one. This seems like a great option! Thank you!

Traditional wood saunas pretty common around where I live too :D, although I have an electric one in my apartment.
Last summer in a festival there was a sauna built into a military style tent with benches for ~10 people, that was definitely a vibe. The smell of wet grass added something to the experience too.

Such a cool product! I'm a little unsure of where to put my business papers man but otherwise, very nice.

I have one of these and use it at the beach in Oregon. It’s incredible.

Great review, would love to hear more about your ‘movement’ routines. Man do we all need movement after the holidays 😅

what temp can you get this thing to? i have finnish blood in me so i need 100-130c in the wintertime is that possible with dry wood like cut up pallets?

So how well does it actually function in colder temperatures vs TX/CA temps? I live in Colorado.

YMMV, but if you've got good wood, my experience so far leads me to believe you'll be sweating.

I have one and used it in the snow - it still got super hot. The key is fire management which is easy - just be sure you have good wood and split it into 2-3 inch pieces. A little prep makes for a much better experience.

Silverfire makes better stoves that are heavier, but wayyyyy better built and utilize gasification so you use less wood.

Which stove? Do you have a sauna tent you have used with these stoves?

You put a pot on it instead of using the rocks? You clearly don't understand what a real sauna experience is. The main effect comes from the "löyly". Without that it is not real sauna.

You lost me at $1000. My local sauna costs $35 a visit and is always filled with hotties. This thing looks like a sausage party.

3 times a week at that sauna would be $420 a month. This would pay for itself in 3 months.
