I'm not condoning the guy who tried to attack Tomoka, but when you string people along and toy with their feelings, you're inviting trouble. She was so intent on testing her cutesy power on guys, she never considered the consequences. Tanaka was one of the few guys that didn't moon over her, and ultimately gave her a reality check. He taught her self-worth and consideration of others. Too bad we didn't get to see what his response was when she gave a true confession at the end.
I guess it's because it'd be problem in the comment section whichever answer he'd gave, for me he must reject her once more for her to learn that even if you turn a new leaf it doesn't mean that all answers you'll receive is yes

In all honesty. It’s better we didn’t see the ending of the confession. Knowing this is a typical romance story, the guy would have definitely accepted the girl according to most stories and channels. But at least with this one, we can just create an ending of our own in our heads where karma is served to the girl and gets rejected and is heartbroken. This should be the best ending. Why? Yes she did truly change in the end. But she played a lot of people’s feelings. If you wanna say that a simple apology and change can make up for her sins, we won’t need cops, courts, judges and laws in this world. Justice needs to be served accordingly. Example if you murder someone you can’t simply repent by saying sorry eventhough you truly are and regret your actions. You still need to be punished for what you did. And the girl broke many guys hearts. So she should have a taste of her own medicine at least once.

This is more easily solved if you are the one confessing. You are the one who can say ‘ok I got rejected, so I can stop abt this now.’ I know it’s not that simple as just saying this, but you’ll get what I mean.
The attention seeking is just the tip of the iceberg. Shes straight up a cruel bitch, just look at the beginning. She was enjoying the thought of making the MC cry and filming it to humiliate him. I find it hard to believe someone like that can just redeem themselves so quickly.
He is a chad for me because:
1.He rejected her nicely and with honesty
2.He cared for her health as a Friend
3.He protected her physically idk maybe mentally too as a friend

Personally, I like how this ended. It's become a bit clichéd at this point where the boy ends up accepting the second love confession from the girl who was doing it for a prank or a punishment game.
Personally, I want to see it where he rejects her second love confession, and she agrees to remain as friends, but declares--both to herself and Tanaka--that she will work to improve herself and value herself more, and not seek the validation of others, and have that be what makes him fall in love with her.
In response, he says that, as a friend, he will support her. So they become friends and help each other with their goals, all the way through college, and when they finally settle into their careers, realize they have genuine feelings for each other. They enter into a relationship, get married, and live happily ever after.
You went so in-depth as far as alternate endings go, and I applaud you for that! That's something I'd actually want to see

Once, in high school, everyone in my history class had to write a short story from the perspective of an African-American slave in the 19th Century American South.

This story reminded of a similar one on this channel. The FMC has guy’s fawning over her confessing to her and dumping them then she realized Yuto is the only guy who hasn’t shown any interest in her so her pride was hurt and she tries to make Yuto fall for her

I’m not saying it’s satisfying to reject a girl but this FMC was very prideful because Yuto was the only guy who didn’t show an interest.

The girl was used to enjoy to play with boy's feelings. In the end, i hope Yuto said no to her confession. Because it's true she changed, but it's not enough to earn forgiveness. Love a good wholesome relationship...and this isn't that. The best I could hope for her is that he turns her down and she reevaluates herself and they become amazing best friends. Her wanting validation is fine, a lot of people want that. But when she said she can't wait to see his face after telling him the truth, that wasn't validation, that was cruelty. Had he accepted the fake confession, he would have been just another tool of amusement in her memories.

I don't know why...but tha's the best ending I ever saw. I thought it was cliché, and of course it was. But for the first time with those kind of videos, I've got the impression that one of the characters reflected on what he did and had a real evolution.
