I get that same feeling especially on a maiden flight so I'm glad that I'm not the only one that gets that nervous especially when flying something different than I'm used to, you did a great job
Gorgeous. Piloted with the grace it deserves. The subtitle robot even interpreted your takeoff blast as 'music', so that model is a serious thing of beauty.
I been there about a Maiden, The X-Fly B1-B had me shaking. I like this review for sure, I agree I would remove the flight controller so I have total control because you do not need crow flaps for this plane. Perhaps net year I will budget for this plane but for now I have to focus on a few other things. Great Maiden and the Camera Lady (((((( ROCKS ))))) 🎸
Been flying my 80mm Rafale for almost a year now. It's such a great EDF. You need to get those 3D printed nozzles to really improve the power. You'll be amazed. Especially when you fly with the full ordinance/tanks.
I noticed that you were real quiet while flying this airplane😂. Cat had your tongue !! Yep I just do touch & go’s also until I get familiar & feel comfortable with a plane. Nice job though.
OMG I love that Jet. You nailed the landings. Looks like a nice flying bird. You might want to try SMC racing High Voltage 6s packs. They really make a difference. Longer flight time and reasonable priced. I just Maiden my FMS Viper . Awesome Jet . I bounced Herpa little and bent the nose gear. My field is quit bumpy. Ug. Love this bird 🐦. Keep em coming
Unfortunately, u gotta separate the fuselage halves to get to the mixing board. Its upside down, in between the canopy & edf on its side. Seen 1 crash video on here that shows where it was. My 30th flight, my board went bad on takeoff.
Canards are not changing their attitudes. You're not using canards. You're using slightly more wing section. Canards move. Unfortunately I believe canards is only supported on Spektrum iX12-20 radios from what I heard. I do not believe I have seen anyone as of now that have operating canards.
Wrong🤷♂️ Canard ARE moving in the Rafale. It aids slow, hi alpha flying. (I had a Rafale. Flew it on my nx8 at the time). Every surface runs thru a control board.
Man I was nervous, but the stability of this plane eased my frayed nerves!
Beautiful plane great flying, I really appreciate the honest upfront reviews I'm glad some companies still stand behind their products.
Much appreciated! And yes so fat HobbyZone has been very straight forward with me.

Thanks so much!

It is one of the best looking planes I own.
Thank you for the Review
Most welcome, it was a blast. Cannot wait to fly her again.
@@FatGuyFliesRC yes she looks so awesome !!

when I maidened DRACO I thought I was having chest pains I was so nervous. I told her she rocks!!!
Great job Fat Guy showing the reality that most of us face with a maiden flight of a RC airplane.
Nervous jitters!!!!
Nice flying. Love this plane so much, I have two 80mm I fly regularly.
Nice 👍 And thank you.
Great job sharing the reality of a maiden flight most of us have to face.
Nervous jitters!!!! And thank you!
Was this a difficult jet to fly?? Some say it’s a different experience. What is your opinion?
Honest review. Thank you for the info
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the tip! Are those the ones that the RC geek sells?
Nice plane , good flight mr. 😊
Thanks 👍
That was me yesterday with my eflite viper 70mm!
Nice!!

Any time I am real nervous I often shut up.
INCREDIBLE SKILL SCARY ANYTIME 😊
Thanks so much!
Nice JOB!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great maiden flight greg, well flown, she is a very nice flying plane...jeff.
Thank you so much!
Good video Sir! Big jets like this always scare me, heck any maiden scares me lol 👊🏻💥👊🏻
You and me both! However I was put at ease quick with her locked in feel!
@@FatGuyFliesRC That is good to know! The crow has me a little iffy, but it flies great in all of the videos I have seen with it.

Thanks so much and yeah the viper has a famous bounce to her. Gonna check out the SMC now.

My 30th flight, my board went bad on takeoff.
Yeah I think i leave it be and just land high alpha with her.

That's how I did after 5-ish flights.
With hand shake like that i would increase expo !!
Well good thing I calmed down and lost the shaky jitters.

64mm Raf, canard r straight/unmovable. 80mm Raf, MOVE.
Well regardless of the physics I cant really tell what they were doing from this one flight but they look cool!
The canard keep the nose up (down too) & aids tremendously on hi alpha. The ideal landing approach is to be in HA & land. Supposedly 🤷♂️
It can help with those things yes but in the case of his aircraft operations it is not a functioning canard.@@old-rcplane-phart
