Thank you for sharing. It is nice to get inspiration from someone who doesn’t have a perfect ikea craft room
😊Thank you Valerie! 💕
I feel as though I'm constantly cleaning and organizing. It's difficult to start a project when I'm not organized. TFS
Thank you for sharing that you don’t need a fancy space to craft.
Love those zipper pouches to organize small things. Nice job putting a lot in a small space.
Thank you!!💕
Oh thank you for this. I too share my room with my over ran craft room and its unmanageable right now. I had to stop going to dollar tree and really weed out diys that I saw and wanted to make. It was out of control. Lol so it really burned me out on DT diys. So grateful for your amazing inspiration, definitely going to try and utilize your tips and tricks. Tfs
Kristine, I know the feeling. Hopefully some of the ideas work for you. Good luck and thanks for watching! 💕
Thank you for showing how you've created a craft space even though you don't have a specific space dedicated to crafts. I think a lot of people can relate!
My favorite craft organization, that I think is useful for every crafter, is a storage cart. It's mobile, easy to change out, and works for every kind of crafting that I do: cricut, sewing, needlework, painting, party planning etc.
Thank you, that was my hope.
Agreed, mobile storage is great! 💕
THANK U FOR SHARING UR IDEAS I M GLAD NOT EVERYONE HAS A PERFECT ART ROOM LOL
Now I am ready to go organize! I have all the containers don’t need to go buy anything! Just a little push to get out and do it !!!!
thank you so much for all the tips and tricks and most importantly the motivation and inspiration!!!❤
I saw you put your sewing machine on top of the flip table. You might consider adding something underneath for additional support for the table to last you longer. One leg is not good enough for wear and tear of the weight of the sewing machine. You don't have to screw it in, just make something to give it additional support.
I think they make an extendable kind of “leg” for use in hiking? Or photography? You might even come across something usable at charity resale stores.
At 68 yo I finally have a dedicated craft space too. Like you, mine is in my bedroom, which is only a single bed size. I have 2 pantry cupboards with an Ikea desk in between, under my one window. On another wall by the door I have a multi purpose cabinet on wheels which holds my cricut, heat press, copy and photo paper, gopower and emboss, and laminator. It has fold out work flats so I can use my cricut more easily (I am disabled). Behind my bedroom door is a hanger for my vinyls, with room for another one. Between the door and one of the cupboards (12"/30cm space) I am just about to hang some plastic pegboard with rails for my ribbon and it is neatly hidden behind the door when it is open. I collected cheap smart white containers with lids for my supplies etc and found little fold out shelves to get 2 rows of storage on each shelf.
My next task is to create removable vinyl labels for the storage, with my cricut - decorating colours are a beautiful minty green/white. I have a white floor standing magnifying light that I can move around the room or into the living room, and a couple of trays to hold stuff if I am working there on the bigger table, so when I'm finished I can chuck it all in the trays to hide in my bedroom lol. The all white furniture is fresh and clean looking - a bonus these days when I struggle to clean up due to health issues. You can imagine my pleasure at getting this space - and I love to see all your crafter videos doing the same! Enjoy whatever you have!
CONGRATULATIONS on what sounds like a fabulously successful arrangement!
Something that might add to the accessibility of your supplies is, perhaps, a pegboard mounted between those shelving units to either side of your desk? I’m sure you wouldn’t want to block egress, in case of emergency, to the window, but even a half-sized pegboard could be put on hinges over the desk. Or even just mounted on the sides of those shelving units?? Just a thought …
@@kkrolf2782 Thanks. I have been tossing up whether to add pegboard to the sides of my storage cupboards (pantry cupboards). I'm not that keen on the look of pegboard, although I'm trialing a piece above my cricut station and a piece behind my bedroom door. I could also try narrow shelves with a lip instead of the pegboard, although the look is nice, they would hold fewer items. Anyway, I'm looking forward to using my dedicated space as I was too unwell to create over the last 15 months! Happy crafting!
@@argosz8046 I, too, am not terribly enamored of the look of pegboard “as is”. That said, here’s two possibilities for disguising it:
A) If you’re able, find frames to accommodate the piece(s) of pegboard you want to use. Paint them; stain them if they’re in good condition; your choice. Cover the whole face of the pegboard in some kind of pleasing, but busy, fabric. Determine where you want to hang each craft item on the board, and carefully poke holes through the fabric to accommodate your various hooks, etc. As long as you don’t change out the positions too often, the holes from previous iterations will probably stay relatively hidden. OR, (B) same fabric idea, but stretch it over cardboard, and mount in the frame, then attach this to a s h a l l o w shadow box wherein the pegboard is concealed. Kinda like a medicine cabinet, but with pegboard inside. The back of the cardboard, if made sturdy enough, could be a message board, with “next project” ideas, or the like. Just food for thought, argo …. Be well!
@@kkrolf2782 Thank you for your pegboard ideas. I like the framing idea, and actually incorporating it with your shadow box idea would be a great creative 'camouflage' for the unattractive pegboard. :)
@@argosz8046 I thank you for the compliments. I sometimes think my mother “channels” herself through me, as she was always coming up with some of the most inventive solutions to issues in her life. (She, at one time, was saddled with the task of coming up with window treatments in a VERY old house that had 15’ ceilings. The windows, of course, had to have been I think 10’ - 12’ tall at least! She found the most cost effective solution was to buy muslin at about $0.10 / yard - this was back in the dark ages … 1960 or there abouts! - which she dyed black. She then sliced a potato in half, carved a fleur-di-lis on its face, let it dry out some, and using gold paint of some kind, stamped the pattern all over the fabric!! It evidently worked out fine! Oh, I’m sorry; Please forgive me for this little sidetrack … ). Anyway, I sincerely hope that my, or others’, ideas work for you. Be well, crafty Friend!
VERY NICE ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEM!
Thank you! 💕
Dear Jennifer, ORGANIZATION is the key to success, and comfort. Thank you, so much, for a blueprint to follow. I love it. ☀️🌼💛
Thank you so much Rhonda! 💕
You have given me so much inspiration! I am moving into a new home and will have a smaller space so I will be utilizing those cubbies for sure. Thank you so much!!
I loved seeing someone else use bedroom space for craft stuff … tyfs great use of the wall with the paints !! Wicked smart !
Thank you so much! 😊💕
Jennifer Ty for your video on organizing! It gave me ideas and inspiration to do something about my craft supplies 🥰
Yay! I'm so glad! Thanks for watching! 💕
Going to look for those cubbies at Costco there is a new Costco opening in Daytona Beach Florida today I’ve never been to a Costco. Thanks for sharing your craft room you’ve got it very organized
Thank you! Hope you find them! 💕
Thanks for all the ideas!
Thank you for sharing your space and tips with us. Its really well organized.
Thank you so much Linda! 💕
Thank you for sharing this! Most videos I've seen do not do such a variety of crafts, and so I'm excited with some of the ideas I've received from your video that goes along with the variety of crafts I do.
Some really great storage solutions, Jennifer. We live in a very small 2 bedroom flat and I craft in my Livingroom, which is taking over the room 😱so your ideas have been a great help to me thinking of how I can make my space work FOR me instead of against me! Thanks for sharing 💕💕
I know the feeling😁 Hope some of the ideas work for you! Thanks for watching! 💕
Oh wow Jennifer. You really did a great job of small space. You gave me great ideas, since I use a spare small bedroom as my craft area. I just cant get organized tho. That's my goal for 2024! T4S👍😘
Thank you Ronda! Good luck with getting organized. 💕
@@LittleBitofCalmCrazy Thank you Jennifer👍😘
Thank you for sharing some great ideas
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching! 💕
Loved the video. I had to stop and rewind to draw the folding table with the drawers. I'm thinking of making one for myself if I can figure it out. Great ideas too.
I tube has not been sending ur videos to me and I forget about your amazing channel. I'm on year 2 of redoing my space
Love your crafty corner!
This video was super helpful, thank you so much for sharing!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching Lisa! 💕
I like the idea of putting the little cart underneath the desk.
You are very organized. I converted my closet into a craft station.
I used the door as a table, and put supplies on shelves and ribbons on the rods.
Thanks for sharing
Nice job at be resourceful!
Thanks for watching! 💕
Thanks for sharing your craft room! Mine is in the bedroom also so you have given me lots of ideas!
I'm so glad. Hopefully they help! 💕
Thank you for sharing! I am amazed how organized it is. I have a medium sized room and I am always complaining how tight things are, but after seeing your space I will never complain about my craft room again! I just need to get more organized and you inspired me.
Thank you for making this video. Best inspiration, great tips! Loved it!
I love how you made your craft space so organized in such a small area. This is my challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you so much! It's definitely achievable. Good luck! 💕
Great use of space!
Wow, so impressed with how organized it looks!! Nice job!
Thank you! 💕
If I had parts of yours, Shannon's, Whitney's, and Courtney's craft rooms. I would be in crafters heaven.
I would love to their rooms too! As long as we can craft... any space is better than none!
@LittleBitofCalmCrazy absolutely. I love the storage and different machines y'all have.
So many great ideas, executed beautifully👌🏾 I love sentimental pieces like the heirloom table, being in the spaces we love most🤗 Your organization level is my life's goal❤🙏🏾
You're so sweet, thank you Cheray! 💕
Love your small space organization! You really utilize your space well! ❤
Thank you so much!💕
Thankyou so much!!!❤
Ur husband's grandmother's table is such a great piece of furniture!❤ I love that!❤
I have a 3 tier shelf under my craft table, too! It holds my cutting trimmers, laminate machine, and easy press machines!😊
I love your cube organizers, too! I have those, too! I love my bins to fit fully inside the opening/cubby as well! I don't like any gaps. For me it just looks neater! It's my OCD!😂 I noticed another Utuber used solid wood bins for her cube organizer. I can't find the actual size that I need. I wud like those for my heavier items. I need 11x11x11. Target carries those, they just have one size.😞
When I worked at AC Moore, I had bought a lot of those scrapbook craft drawers & cubby pieces! Because I received a discount I definitely took advantage!😁 I love them! I bought them so many years ago! They were the 1st pieces that I bought, too!😊
You have definitely utilized every inch of your space and looks great! So awesome, Jennifer! My craft table has several projects on it, too!😂 As always, thank you for sharing your craft space tour & ideas with us! I've always wanted to see your craft space!😊❤ It looks great!❤ Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
Deane, as always, thanks for watching. Your responses are always so heart-felt. I really appreciate them. Thank you! Have a great week! 💕
@LittleBitofCalmCrazy Aww...you are so sweet!❤️ Thank you, Jennifer! You are so very welcome!❤️ I sincerely appreciate you!❤️ You have a great week as well!🙏❤️
IKEA sells that same table with drawers down the center❤❤❤❤
THANKS!!!!! I needed to see this video. I sew, embroider, and workout in my room. This video gives me a lot of great ideas.
My craft room is around the same size as yours I got so many great ideas for my space. I've recently discovered the genius of command hooks. I also installed some IKEA picture ledges located high up on the wall (like your paints) to put finished projects. ❤❤
Thank you for sharing Jennifer. We downsized from a 3-bedroom home with a basement to a condo with no basement. It does have 3 bedrooms.
, which I am very grateful for but because my hubby wasn’t thrilled about the move I took the smallest bedroom to use as my craft and music room. It’s been hard. I am now in the process of taking EVERYTHING out of that room and organizing. I was using dressers for craft supplies and found that wasn’t very practical so we are going with shelving and baskets similar to what you did. My other problem is I can’t get rid of craft supplies even if I never use them and I just keep buying more. I have serious issues. 😂😂😂
Love these! I have discovered that you have to have it organized no matter the size, I started in a closet, then shared the guest room. Now so blessed husband gifted a wonderful Sheshed! Now that everything is in there I have to reorganize and get a few cubby shelves (thinking for desk and wall) for things that were in closet. Great ideas! Thank you for opening your room and sharing!
Thank you Michelle! 💕
All great tips. Love that you showed us how you keep it organized even though you do not have a dedicated craft room. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! 💕
I like the idea of the storage bags inside the bins to corral all those little things. Thanks for sharing! 😊❤
Thanks for watching!💕
Fantastic! I am impressed with your use of space, Jennifer! I am so glad you mentioned at the end that your holiday supplies are stored in another area. That room is organized beautifully, in my opinion. But there is NO WAY you could also house your holiday stash in there. Fall and Christmas require a whole system of their own! Thanks for sharing your clever ideas. I enjoyed this video so much. Cheers! ❤😊
You are so right that Christmas and Fall need its own system! I am glad you like the ideas that I shared. Happy Crafting!
As always, amazing ideas! Thank you fir sharing! I love those bags! I’m going to steal that hack! 😂 your Cricut cart is sooooo awesome! My craft table is similar to your desk and I store carts underneath. Happy crafting! ❤
Kimberlee, thanks for watching and steal away!😂 💕
@@LittleBitofCalmCrazy 😂❤️ will do! Thank you!
I have that same table omg great idea with it I don’t have draws it was my dads mom
That's really cool! 💕
What an amazing craft/bedroom space! You’ve made the most of every square inch! So impressed!
Oh, I definitely have. 😁 Thank you for watching Julie! 💕
Nicely done!❤
Jennifer, thank you for sharing all these great storage ideas. I love the way you used other wise wasted space.
That's what I tried to do. It works for me. 😊Thanks for watching! 💕
Love love love your space!!!! Wanna come to Georgetown to organize my room???? I just got the M1 & I noticed you had a riser that it sits on. There are still a few things I think I’ll need, that & air assist, honeycomb tray BUT I did my first cuts yesterday & they were perfect!!!!! So excited to do more on it.
Thank you Peggy! Glad you're having fun using the M1. I'll have more videos coming out soon, using mine. 💕
Thank you for sharing, my craft room is mess.
Jennifer, thank you for sharing! Great use of space!
That table is called a gateleg table! Ikea has a very similar one. We used it in our tiny cottage kitchen.
Good to know! Thanks! 💕
Enjoyed.
Love your channel ❤️
You have a very nice and very well organized craft area:) That table you use for sewing I have the same table and yes I love mine too:) that wall of storage is a great idea:) tfs and God bless:)
Wow Jennifer! It’s incredible how you have utilized all your space 😮 thanks so much for the inspiration 🙏🏻
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 💕
Fabulous idea’s especially for shared space!
I love your craft space🥰. I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration and ideas. Thank you for sharing 💜
Thanks Jennifer for the great ideas. I am in the process of creating my new craft room (from a bedroom) so your video came out at the right time. Love your ideas and videos. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with getting yours together. 💕
Very nice Jennifer!! You have everything so organized!! I'm hoping to change my craft room to another room in the house. I'm definitely going to remember all you ideas and I can't wait to see you DIYs!! 😁👍😁👍🤗🤗
Thank you Tamala! Good luck with switching rooms! 💕
Awesome 😎
Hi, I love your organization strategy for a tiny space. I have a space like yours but doesn't look as nice. I do have a suggestion. Since you have to share your bedroom with your crafts, if you want, you could either make or buy a beautiful fabric to hang wall to wall to separate your craft from your bed. If I had to share my bedroom with my crafts I would not be able to rest and relax because ideas would be popping in and out while I try to rest. If outside light would be blocked from the wall to wall curtain, then I suggest a hospital ER curtain look where light comes through the mesh part and privacy is kept through a non see- thru fabric. You can buy any fabric you like to give you a zen feeling when you look at it and allows outside light to come thru. If you cannot find a mesh, you can use the mesh laundry bags, make a macrame out of a white tie rope used for cooking also sold at dollar store or 99 cents store even at supermarkets.
Thanks for the ideas! And thanks for watching! 💕
Love your craft space! Also, what jeans are you wearing? So cute!
Thank you!
Jeans are Whit&Wisdom 💕
love how you utilize all of your cubbies & the space around you! May I ask where you got your adjustable stool from? I have a metal swivel chair that I have to drag out of the way when I want to stand...so annoying!
Thank you so much.
I've had that stool for a while, but I think it came from Harbor Freight.💕
I have to know how all the YT crafters know when Dollar Tree is putting out new items. I can NEVER find all these cute seasonal blanks! I’m always too late 😩
I live in a very small rural town so I feel like dollar tree hobbies are also a competitive sport 😂
I understand. 😂
Maybe ask your local store when they get new stock in. Good luck😊💕
Where did you get your covers for your Cricut Maker, Explore & heat press? Those are nice. This is my 1st time here. I enjoyed seeing your craftroom & your suggestions
Love your craft area. Can you please tell me where you got your stool and if it extends high enough for countertop height? My counters in my craft area are counterop height and can't find seating high enough to sit and work. Thank you!
I have a table like that!! Mine doesn’t have drawers!!
Hi I’m new to you channel ,I saw you have two cricket . I would like to have on but some thing easy and not expense . And why you have two you do what with them …😊 I’m new for doing card making
Where did you get the bags for the wood pieces?
I got them from Amazon amzn.to/49cee8k
❤❤❤
I don’t even have a craft area I live in very small tiny apartment
What's the name of the bags? I couldn't find them.
amzn.to/3UvuKMd
😊💕
You have a V E R Y tolerant significant other!! MINE would run away from home if I trashed our sleeping space this way!! That said, you DO have tall enough pieces - and enough of them - that you could give the bedroom area some visual privacy from all the crafting stash. Just a thought …
I see JayMuneeDIY in one of your pics… Is everything ok with her? She doesn’t seem to post anymore.
She's good. Hopefully, we'll see her more this year. 💕
Did you say you put your silicone mats in the washing machine?
Yes! So much easier and less time for me. 😁💕
Great use of space!!
Where do you buy the cricket machine covers?
Great use of space!
Thank you! 💕
