While I agree with you, I'd certainly still try to impart the notion to children that their elders are deserving of respect. Everyone is deserving of respect until they display a reason why respect towards them should be tossed out of the window.
@@wangson I can agree that respect is subjective, not objective. Hey, I am 70 and don’t automatically assume my grey whiskers mean I should demand respect. My life is about getting along with others. Not demanding they give me something I don’t deserve.
Our son, in his history class is dismissed by his teacher and many of the students in his class bc he did his research and chose to be conservative rather than liberal like the teacher and most of the class. There are about 3 kids in there that do not agree with the others. The teacher allows for the others to cut our son off bc he brings up a different point of view. The other 2 won't even talk in class. As a result, our son has no respect for the teacher, however I'm a teacher, as was my dad, before retirement, so Ryan has an ant if respect for the position of teacher. Last year, he had a student teacher, who ended up with a job in the school this year. He took on the attitude of the older teacher and told the class, the first day that he demands respect and the students will respect him. My son started off with, with all due respect, respect is earned, not demanded. A good teacher will earn our respect by treating us with respect. The teacher asked him, well am I a good teacher? Our son told him, "that remains to be seen, but not if you are going to treat us like and act like class last year with that teacher.". Stop the BS. This is all strictly for the camera crew. If your that gullible to believe they are compassionate. Your crazy. Go there yourself and find out
This is always very entertaining!! I worked for the police in Australia and we do not have jails as you do. Most police stations have police cells attached (except one man stations) and we looked after the crooks ourselves. Our cells were exposed to the outdoors and in winter were freezing! (I caught my then 3 yr old son chatting to a crook through the mesh once, I nearly had a heart attack 😂). Apart from the cells we just have state prisons, quite a few, and they are staffed by the Office of Corrections prison staff. Prisoners in police cells are only permitted to stay there for a shortish amount of time or be transferred to the Melbourne Remand Centre for holding, which is also staffed by Prison Officers. I wouldn’t have the patience to do this job, feeding them at our station was Ok but usually only one prisoner at a time as we’re not a huge town. Have been to Vegas, never ended up locked up luckily 😊
@@sylviamcgeary3587 yes, I think so. A lot of what we do here is the same as the UK, including our parliamentary system. We copied from the best, as many of us were from the UK when the country began ❤️

From the first time up until the very last time that i was arrested, I knew better than to give the arresting officers any kinda trouble. I'd broken the law, was handcuffed and in custody. Resisting and or fighting with law enforcement is a battle that cannot be won. Best to go along with the flow. I thank God that those days are now in my past.

When you first start watching this series, it seems the Las Vegas jail team is especially humane, and capable of dealing fairly with the most obnoxious of arrestees. .... Then it jumps to Portland, SLC, Sarasota, etc. and they ALL turn out to be superb.
More or less the same in the UK.
@@sylviamcgeary3587 yes, I think so. A lot of what we do here is the same as the UK, including our parliamentary system. We copied from the best, as many of us were from the UK when the country began ❤️
Canada here.
I’m from Compton
Y I said this the best Jail in the US. Never have I seen such patient behavior of drunks!!!😮🎉
Who the hell married, "I wanna call my father in Chicago" dude?!
Lickman was really tough, until the Sergeant ripped him a new one. Too funny
Lickman? ?? 😂😂😂 good one
I thought the toothless 28 year old woman was 48.
We all did, I'm sure. I was shocked to my core!
@@lizettewanzer8650
Never do drugs.
48 is very kind of you, she looks more than that to me.
More like 68.😂
Omg no way
Hey Jay it's good to have you back telling your stories I've been watching you for a long time glad everything is better for you now
I watch these videos every time I even think about going back to drinking alcohol.
"dont put words in my mouth baldy" 🤣 just old and angry
Reminds me of a Japanese saying I heard years ago: "The nail that sticks up, must be hammered down."
"I cant wait til jesus comes back"
"Oh we are ready trust me"
Damn, the cops sayin the quiet part out loud
Can't wait till Jesus comes
“This is a family jail! No cussin!” 😂
Look at the meals they get. In Canada you a cheese sandwich, they’re called spit sandwiches. Not that I want to be arrested again but if I do I hope I’m in Vegas for one of those gourmet meals lol
That's the reason I walk the narrow path.
They’re called gulags in Canada
Your crazy.
Kevin had 2 beers 😂 it’s always 2 beers.
It’s sad how they have to be treated like children. Because they act like children
"I make a lot of money with my mouth!" . . . I bet you do! 😅😂
In city fines and bonds, you'll lose alot Danny!
He meant his ex
Some of the grownups are worse than the younger generation.
I couldn’t deal with those people that come in .
Alcohol works on people in different ways .
My hats off to the men and women who have to deal the these people plus the nurses and everyone involved at the jail.
If he hasent learned respect in 80 years he never will 😢 Sad
😂 it's Baldy's fault, power trip baldy at that .
Did that female officer just lie to her Sargent and say the blonde who was faking her ID, that she refused to put on jail clothes ???
I definitely heard her give her the option, then say 'that.s fine with me'
Wow
I wouldn’t trust the female Cop for a million dollars, she really thrives on working up inmates and then throwing them in a side cell. Makes for good tv I guess. She is EVIL!!!
Yes. It sure looked that way.
That's what I thought, too.
100% she did! I thought that was a dirty way to imply that she was being uncooperative
Good catch!
23:30 Good on you, Sarge.
“We got a comfortable chair for you.” 😂 Love the restraint chair.
Oh snap!!
These officers have to deal with one entitled angry drunk after another🍷🍻🍺😡
Yup after work they drink just like them all about the money
The paige boy dew is one for the ages!😂
Danny seems nice. GOD bless these officers, they get to hear it all & it's not pretty. Such self control they use every day, all day.
Hearing a grown man cry for their daddy is so crazy. 😂
This is a family jail! Love it. I smell bacon 🥓!
Cracks me up 🤣
“Baldy” 😂 must have been a drill sgt with that knife hand
Great video-Thank you- I am not a Vegas guy. I am glad.
She must have bite him with her back teeth! 😅
The first cop had a nasty start to his day
8:14 Gotta give the old guy credit: this is peak bipolar humor. ❤
I was going to say, these cops don't realize that Danny is having a severe manic episode, which is why he keeps running his mouth. He needs hospitalization right now to calm him.
I heard him say to all the Policeman, "I'm Bipolar".
Love this show - especially the ones in Vegas. Get me out! Lol 😮
Love the song!!
1:14:42 like that chubster knows what injuries come from playing sports. The most physicality he gets is breaking a sweat trying to tie his shoes.
