Rich, your work recording the amazing work of the Seekers is really excellent and historically very very important IMHO. Without people like you and Denny, who spend many many hours looking out high quality audio, cleaning it up and matching it with great video, and making it available to us all, this wonderful band might slip into history without the recognition it really deserves from lovers of angelic voices (JUDITH!), wonderful harmonies (Keith!), and heart-wrenching songs (Tom, Bruce, and others). Thank you, Sir... just... thank you!!!

They were having an absolutely fantastic turn of year from 1966 to 1967, including a Royal Gala presentation at the Palladium in London and the 200,000 people concert in Sydney on March 1967. Then, having the unique opportunity of a 100 million people tv audience in America they simply turned down the April 1967 appearance in the Oscar presentation where they would sing the n.1 hit Georgy Girl. If they only had done that all doors of America would be opened for them, but fate decided other way.

They are lovely to read, and reveal to me, that there has always been a lot of real gentlemen in our world, despite what popular media might have wanted us to think, esp in the '60s. What a pity she didn't know it at the time - because she had such low self esteem about her appearance.

Judith was interviewed on ABC Radio, here in Melbourne, about ten years ago. I was driving around for my job and listening to the interview. Out of the blue, Jon Faine, the interviewer, asked her to sing. I can't remember the song she sang, but I do remember I had to pull my car over to the side of the road, because I couldn't see through the tears. Her unaccompanied voice made me think that sometimes our mob (humans) are capable of great things. Maybe it's to experience this that is our reason to be here.
Judith's difficulties in getting around are as a result of an horrendous car crash she had a while back. Did not affect her voice one jot.

Dan Adams The "folksy" influences taught me to appreciate all kids of music fairly young . In the nearly 60s you could get Gayle Garnette, The New Christey Minstrels, Marianne Faithful all bending a little folk in to the mix, johnny Cash and Nat King Cole were crossing over quite smoothly. Hullabaoo, Shindig and Bandstand were weekly as were Paul Revere and the Raiders with "Where the Action is". Motown began to be blended into the mix more and more with Temps, Tops and Shirelles, Dianna Ross and the Surf Sound or the Beach Boys and Jan and Dean were surfin'est thing to ever hit vinyl I thought as was CCR or Creedence Clearwater Revival for the sixtiesesque chalenged as well as Neil Diamond, The Byrds, Glen Campbell and Dusty Springfield, Del Shannon who had a lot of other songs than "Runaway" which a good as it is is driven into the round and broken off in all the oldie shows and CD offer infomercials. Bobby Vinton, Johnny Tillotson and Gene ( Last Exit to Brooklyn) Pitney really rocked with songs most people under 40 never knew existed and later took over Frankie Lanes movie western overtures responsibiites.( I think Frankie did Rawhide). As later Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, The Who, the Guess Who, Jim Croce and so so many others cam along and outside the core rock and roll, which was fine...some of them showed a little different way and slight tangent and left society all the richer culturally and on a scale of general feelgood as well. We still have some great artists out there including some apparent admitted devil worshipers misbehaving on stage too. I'll take Chad and Jeremy, the Moody Blues ( Days of the Future Past) was released in 1967 but never got popular in the US til 1972 and was their biggest hit ever, the Hollies, Hurricane Smith ( had a couple of obscure hits in the early 70s but used to work with the Beatles but his genre was interesting to say the least), Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, the Cowsills ( the "Flowergirl" Song), Kenny Rogers and the First Edition way before he became a country smash aand so so many ore than I could ever emember over the vast majority of current offerings though there is some very good 80s 90s and 2000s music out there LOL. Katie Perry and Nickie Minaj will never top Judy Collins, Carly Simon, LINDA RONDSTADT=OMG who could forget that album cover with the skates and big socks LOL-or Long Long Time , and others so vintage that the spell checker don't even remember them much less how to spell them....Here's to all the artist that evoked all our feelings of puppy love, told off that girl or guy for us in song that e never got to and spoke to our very soul even though they didn't know us all and for sure the world will be much poorer for your passing one day. You people who we not afraid for your children to listen to unsupervised and who just sang their hearts out for us. These and so many legions more e will not see our like again. SALUD

How many other fantastic songs were not made. And none of them had the stella success the band had. Still, anytime I'm feeling down or things are bad, I just play some of the Seekers and all my troubles seem to disappear.

When I was 23 years old, I was in my junior year studying Civil Engineering in California with the Vietnam War overwhelming the Country and the entire world and now at 77 years old and retired, I get all teared up and goosebumps every time I hear this song for it brought back bitter sweet memories of all the friends I lost and those who came home sadly severely wounded. God bless you all "SEEKERS" and all who lost or returned wounded.Thank you for your sacrifice.

My grandfather used to play The Seekers on his radiogram (who can remember radiograms?). And now, some 60 years later, I occasionally play them on CD in my car. Their music is as good as ever.

It wasn't just her voice but also the way she always looked like she was having so much *fun* that makes The Seekers so infectious.

There will never be a time like the 60s ever again. What a wonderful time period the 60 and 70 were to grow up in, with the Seekers music as our
    Backdrop.

Im 43 and I wish I could rediscover the music I have fallen in love with over my life, music is the best therapy for a tired unhappy mind. And the Seekers really take you somewhere else, thank you for the memories....and the funny thing is I wasn't even alive when these song were out, actually its kind of sad.
